Oberweis remains one of my favorite ice cream places. Ive tried ice cream from all over (Chicago, LA, etc.), but I keep coming back to good ole Oberweis for more. I recognize that ice cream in general probably has a pretty low ceiling in terms of how good it can be, but Oberweis is just so creamy in texture and milky in flavor, I love it.

I did the milk trade program and the occasional treat here. I love their milk; its creamy and delicious. Their ice cream is also good, but I cant eat that too often lol.

As always you order something but have something else... otherwise high end quality products for dairy. Definitely needs better people representing the brand..

Great place to go after family dinners and all around welcoming place has small games for kids not sure if they have them now (cough cough covid) they have weekly and monthly ice cream flavors that are always good to try.

Upscale ice cream store, not inexpensive, but a notch above others in consistent superior quality. Have accommodated Covid well with safety precautions including outside umbrella covered dining. While I havent tried their special service of old time milk delivery Ive observed their delivery truck and deliveries in my neighborhood on several occassions. Not quite sure of the motivation to have this standard grocery item delivered but its available to serve wants and needs.

Fantastic store manager! He was kind, quick, and helpful. He put up with me and my Dad teasing each other and forgetting our returns in the car. He really made our Christmas Eve enjoyable - I’m sure we will plan a return trip for other holidays including Easter.

The best ice cream ever! Dark chocolate salted caramel is my fave... peanut butter cookie dough is hubbies and, when those arent offered, their standards are the best around. A little pricier than the grocery store but so worth it. If you dont eat ice cream that often and only have it as a special treat, you might as well get the best when you do. The counter pros are always helpful and kind. Service is quick and the eating area is usually clean.

Oberweis ice cream is premium ice cream and there is no other like it around!! We enjoyed our visit to the Kirkwood Store. The staff is friendly and helpful and the options 😊 a wide variety! Ice cream cakes, sandwiches, waffle cones and dishes, and milkshakes with many different flavors. We played a game of chess while waiting for table service, which turned out to be quick⭐ so, we finished the game while devouring the best ice cream in St Louis💯 They even have curbside service..order before arriving and they deliver to your car❗Great place I highly recommend 👍

Real creamy ice cream. Whats more, I dont know what beans they use to brew their coffee with but in my opinion its one of the best places to buy a plain cup of coffee.The atmosphere is very nice: clean, bright, airy, with very friendly staff and fast service. If you are a chess fan, bring a friend who also plays. Some of the table tops are actual chess boards with chess pieces.Family friendly. Weve seen all sorts of people there: from carefree teenagers, through mums and dads with kids, to really old folks.All in all, we like it a lot and go there regularly.

Great little shop to get shakes, malts, sundaes and waffle cones! Of course you can pick up milk, frozen desserts, and other goodies to go, but the fountain menu is excellent! There are also family board games and chess sets to enjoy a nice game night with your ice cream!

The best ice cream parlor ever. Starting from their whole milk to their sherbet.... everything is the best.There is no comparison to their dairy products. Even their 2% milk and dairy products with 2% taste so much better....Their shakes are amazing and hill to die on.... their fruit punch, lemonade, raspberry lemonade, tea, even these non dairy products are amazing. Not sure how they get this taste but it is absolutely delicious and fantastic.

They handed me my to go bag and I drove home. When I got out of the car with the bag, my shake had leaked everywhere and ripped through the bag exploding on the pavement. Looking for the bare minimum effort from the workers. Be better.

I was there on a cold rainy night. So wasnt to busy. Ice cream was good, milkshakes were huge and they didnt mind us sitting there for over an hour. They came by several times to see if we needed anything. And didnt blink an eye at the paper hats made out of napkins.

The product isnt worth the price. The vanilla ice cream has a metallic taste, the strawberry tastes artificial, and the cone tasted stale. I dont see what the hype is about. The atmosphere is nice and the games are a nice touch, but the product is bot up to par with its competition.

If you dont know about Oberweis, youre missing out. Top notch ice cream, fast service, helpful staff, spotless establishment. Mint flavoring in the ice cream is a bit off though.

Butter pecan ice cream was to die for but customer service is lacking. Just found it odd that samples for new yogurt were advertises and I was intrigued to buy one (I hate Greek yogurt and this was finally something different) and the people at the counter) did not seem to know anything about it, despite the large 5 ft sign directly behind me (across from the counter) where it mentioned it. I asked if he had time While we ate our ice cream could he check....absolutely he said. As we are finishing up eating, he darts out the front door to a couple outside eating and proceeds to take selfies with them....not returning before we left. Know whats important here....certainly not sales!

This is one of those no-apology places that serves REAL ice cream and other dairy delectables. If youve already made the decision to go here, just check your guilt at the door because its just not worth bringing it inside. Yes, the prices may be a tad higher than average, but youre paying for real ingredients. Their eggnog, which arrives seasonally, is one of the thickest substances known to man, and you could probably eat it with a fork. I dont know exactly whats in it, but Im sure its a cardiologists nightmare. A small glass of it goes a long way. Enjoy it.

I usually order the Strawberries and Cream smoothie. Got one today and it was more liquid than usual. Still good establishment, would go again.

The malts are second to none, but their smallest size is too large for one person to consume. Also, the dipped waffle cones should be labeled as purely decorative because they taste like lightly sweetened candle wax.

It wasn’t this store it was online home delivery charged our account Multiple Times and put the money back eventually caused a huge amount of overdraft fees and I basically paid 200$ for milk and they basically said it’s not their problem I will never again use their services the lady was not understanding and was rude when I called in a second time after being told a supervisor would call me and never did

I love Oberweiss ice cream. Peanut butter sundae is my goto every time. They use real peanut butter blended into the chocolate ice cream. Its leaps and bounds better than just any regular peanut butter ice cream which is basically just flavored.

The folks at Kirkwood, MO location are so welcoming. Pretty much everything tastes so good with special shout-outs to Pumpkin Pie Milkshake and Chocolate Banana Royale. We miss this place so much, after having moved to Connecticut. Hope they open up a store here in Avon, CT.

I gave them a 5 star but now when I go there they mess it up every time by putting the browie at the bottom and they had horrible customer service kid where laughing because I took the icecream back and told them and make face I will not be coming back and dont waste your time if you dont like bad customer service.

Oberweis offers great ice cream as always, but for some reason this location doesnt allow you to mix 2 flavors in their milkshakes, even though other locations do
