Unfortunately, and at no fault of the wonderful ladies who work there, this location is chronically understaffed. These are lovely folks, but they seem put upon when approached by customers either with an appointment or without. They are so busy, that they cannot move from customers and the counter, so they will yell at you when you approach the sign in table at the outside of the store - as though they are perturbed to find customers there. It is not a pleasant experience. I offer this as someone who has bought two new pairs of glasses there in the last several months, and having to have one pair replaced. I do understand there is a pandemic. I myself have a practice and have had to adjust to the pandemic. But I defer to target’s administrative individuals to staff a store appropriately. I have literally been there over 10 times, either working with them, or stopping by to see if they could help me with the glasses that need to be reworked. It is always understaffed. No matter the day. No matter the hour. And I have efficaciously spoken with the general manager of the store about this, Kelly, who claims that they are adequately staffed. If you would like to get yelled at and treated as though you showing up for your appointment is an inconvenience, and to watch very stressed out women be over utilized, this is the place to go. 🤨

Dr. Pergadia is awesome. I made the appointment for my octogenarian father, and she went above and beyond to work with him. She very carefully explained her diagnosis to both him and myself, offered clear and precise options, and was very patient with my elderly father (he can be difficult, at times). She was very sure to include me in helping him to make decisions. Dr. Pergadia is very professional and friendly. I plan on coming here when my prescription is ready to renew.

I went in today to ask for advice on how to fix the fit of my glasses and both women behind the counter were extremely helpful! One went to the back and fixed them herself and came back out to see if they fit me. The other lady behind the counter offered to help and between the two of them made my favorite pair of glasses wearable again. I will definitely go there for my next exam. Great customer service!!

Kelley is just amazing! I went to shop for eye glasses and from the moment I stepped into the optical office I was greeted by Kelley with a big smile and a warm welcome. She was very detailed in providing me with all I asked. I used to be a client at Crown vision and as they are horrible and rude in their service I decided to switch and be a client for optical vision, and in reality this is because of Kelley’s great customer service and the friendly atmosphere she gives at that place. I congratulate optical for having an employee with those skills as nowadays sometimes in some businesses it feels like they are paying you to come in and get there service!!

From the ophthalmologist to the people helping you select the correct glasses this place is top notch. They know what great customer service is and strive to obtain it. Very happy with everything. Would have given 5 stars but the pricing is average for this industry. However you do get what you paid for!(sorry cousin Dan, needed somewhere close to get this done.)

Tymarie really went the extra mile for me and I hate that I didnt get a survey on my receipt so I could let them know! She made sure I got the full extent out of my insurance and even gave me a new account discount for being there for the first time. She was awesome!! I will definitely be using them for all my eye care services.

Front office ladies were extremely helpful and very nice. They made sure to explain to me how my insurance covered things and what I would have to pay and what discounts were applied. They even helped me see what glasses looked best on me and were just helpful, not pushy at all. Dr. Beebe was very nice and easy to talk with as well to be sure my needs were met. So happy I switched to coming here for my eye care!

Kelley is so great and helpful! My wife and I both have glasses from Target/this store and need adjustments from time to time. She made sure the fit was good plus replaced nose rest things (?) and adjusted so ear pieces fit more comfortably. Highly recommend this Target optical👍

Zero stars. I made an eye exam appointment for my dad here, which we never got a confirmation for online for this location, I assumed it went through though. Here was our experience: the front desk person was incredibly rude, she didnt greet us, immediately told us to step back and put her hand out at us. Mind it that we were beyond 6ft away plus wearing masks. More on the front desk person she didnt ask us who the appointment was for and never verified name and birth date of patient like you should. She literally called my dad some other patients name and continued to dismiss when we tried to correct her, until her co-worker told her that she had the wrong paper and patient! They wanted us to come back later in the day for an appointment, but why would we when their front desk person was so rude. We scheduled an appointment for the Hampton location and received a confirmation email, like normal!

I highly recommend you check out this Target optical location! Deanna was so kind to me when we found out my daughter had forgotten her contacts while we were traveling out of town. She fixed a stressful situation in a matter of minutes for us with the kindest, most helpful demeanor. While I waited my turn, I observed Deanna and other staff members providing exceptional customer service to each customer in their shop. I could tell that Deanna’s kindness, and professionalism wasn’t uncommon for this business. It was obvious that the customer was the priority, and that providing a positive, stress-free experience was the goal. If I lived in the area I would be a customer for life after my experience! You will be treated with friendless, care, and efficient service at this location. Thank you for turning a stressful situation into an opportunity to be reminded of what a difference good customer-service can make in brightening someone’s day!

Deanna and Timmery (sorry if I butchered the name) were AMAZING! I’m here on a business trip and they were kind enough to get my prescription filled AND sent back to Florida for me. Amazing service and honestly I’ll be contacting them no matter my location 👌🏾

Never met a ruder front desk lady or encountered worse customer service. I was 2 min late per my cell phone. Lady said i am sorry, we cancelled your appt. You need to reschedule. Mind you they did not call and I had confirmed online. I had driven 30 min to get to this appt and parked way over in TJ Maxx amd had to wait to talk to her. DONT waste your time with this unprofessional place that does not value your time or business

Pretty upset they won’t see me! Eye infection, no flu like symptoms. Who cares that I can’t see out of one eye! Guess not Target!
