My God daughter and I went here yesterday to find some baby items. This store had everything for kids of all ages and sizes. There was clothes, shoes, toys, books and gently used bedding, strollers and other baby items. The prices were very reasonable and they also had name brand items. Coming here, youll have to take your time to go through the racks of clothing as its a lot to choose from. Theres ample parking as this lot shares parking with other businesses.

This place is perfectly organized! It made shopping here so pleasant. Also, I was greeted by and received amazing service from Jessica, who was understanding, patient (first time mom here) and kind, as well as funny, which made my shopping experience even better. She showed me around, explained how things worked, told me about the sales, and answered every question I had. I will definitely return to this location, even though it is out of my way, just because of the service I received from her. Thank you Jessica!

I was not told to bring the clothes in and totes and have them nicely laid out. So I brought them in bags. They said we are really busy so we won’t have it done until 7pm this was at 4:30 they texted 30 min later saying our stuff was ready. We could tell by looking at the bags nothing was gone through. They bought our Bumbo, a brand new Diaper bag, and 2 other things that were not in the bags. $17 is what we got. Will never sell there nor shop there.

This place is great! Not only do they have adorable clothes for great prices, the employees are wonderful!! Angel went out of her way to make sure I was well taken care of. Employees can make a world of difference for aBusiness and she definitely is a value to the company..

It was my first time there as a adult I been as a teenager but I brought in over 70 outfits most name brand puma, Nike and much more after all my items was checked I was offered only $30 . Never again will I go there and most my items I brought out the stores was like $9 to 10 dollars a outfit they came in sets .

Great place. Good prices : bought 3 pairs shoes, 3 pants and a few dresses and a shirt for our toddler for $55. Good selection of seasonal wear and boots and snow suits still in stock after our big snow storm.

I do about 99% of my childrens clothes shopping here. They have fantastic deals and I always find cute clothing because I dont mind digging a little to find my style preferences. They do carry brand name items like Baby GAP, Ralph Lauren, OshKosh, etc., just not everything in the store is a brand name--like some other more expensive kids stores. Everything I purchased was under $7, with most items costing $1.50 to $4.50.The staff is friendly and they will usually buy some older items back from me as long as they are not overstocked and the items show no signs of stains or wear. They also have many items marked to 50% off, and they offer buy 10 items get one free. Plus they also have a loyalty rewards program for additional 20% off your next purchase when you buy 20 items.If you dont like digging to find what you like, and if you prefer only brand names and dont mind paying a premium price for second-hand clothes than youd probably prefer somewhere like Kangaroo Kids. For true bargain hunters who also want style, this is your place.

There are a lot of decent clothing options at fair prices. However, the checkout process is a nightmare. It was not very busy and waited in line for over a half hour to be checked out. The employees did not seem to care and moved at a snail pace. Will not return due to poor customer service

Was at store today 6/26. At least 3 behind register but only one checking people out. Line was at least 6 deep so I purchased nothing.

Very dirty, unorganized, and unsafe. Most customers and staff members were wearing their masks incorrectly or not at all. Lots of clothes with stains on them. Only plus was that there are some decent quality brands for sale. Worth traveling the extra 15 minutes to the location down Manchester.

I frequent this store quite often. I have purchased and sold many items and feel the pricing is fair. The staff is friendly and it is organized. The only downfall is the store is cramped and over crowded, but that doesn’t stop me from shopping here.

The manager was scolding an employee at the register in the most unprofessional manner. My heart broke for that poor girl. She didn’t deserve how that lady was talking to her. Also there was a customer in there using foul language loudly while on the phone and none of the associates asked her to leave. Profane language should be restricted in a place such as this. I gave it 2 stars because of that, but the prices are good enough. It was well organized, and easy to find things.

I love this place for buying excellent quality clothes and shoes for a very low price (I love second hand bc it’s like recycling!). Plus there are always amazing sales. I haven’t bought anything else like toys or equipment but they always look great. However, the employees could use some happy pills or something. I’m not saying all but half of them can be incredibly rude. It’s always the same people too.

Store was a mess. Bad customer service. I gave her money in her hand. She put my change on the counter.

I went to sell a new snow suit for 3-6 months. That still had the original price tag for 19.99. They appraised this for $2. They don’t sell anything in their store for less than $3.50. It would’ve have a total rip-off had a sold it to them.

I walk in at 4:02 to drop off clothes and they tell me they stop taking clothes at 4. Apparently I’m supposed to know this? You can tell they think it’s funny as I walk out they scream “you can bring them tomorrow” smiling each other. Every time I come to this location it’s rude little teenagers enabled by their awful management. How helpful

I’ve only visited this location two times. On my first visit I was pleasantly surprised because the reviews are mixed. I get very concerned about encountering poor customer service. This initial visit was quick and very successful. They got my one bag in quickly, priced most of my items favorably; a win, win. The second visit left much to be desired. They were a little backed up, no biggie. I was given a time to return. When I missed the given time I called to find out my options. I was told that “most people return same day”. That’s fine, however it did not work for my schedule. No alternative was given. I was a bit surprised that the clerk became dismissive and wouldn’t provide me their “policy” for pick-up. No worries though, I returned the next morning without incident. I’m glad that the clerk from my previous contact was not in store; she seemed contrary during the call, to say the least. Seems as if the staff there are rather temperamental, so just proceed with caution. You never know who/what you might get. 😑

This location was my first experience with OUAC a year ago so I decided to go back at the beginning of July this year and quickly regretted the decision. I had one bag full of my son’s to try and sell and while we were doing that we thought we’d look around for some school clothes. Let me just say this the employees there are VERY RUDE. As I was checking in I had a couple questions about a sale they had going on and the lady at the kiosk certainly did not want to answer my questions and made very little to no eye contact. Strike 1. They also had a cop there speaking to an elderly woman in which I assume just witnessed someone steal. EVERY EMPLOYEE working there that day was right up front trying to listen in to the story instead of some remaining behind to help customers. It doesn’t help the fact either that they have a ton of larger toys and baby swings places in front by the door either. Literally barely any room to move about. My son and I were looking through the boys section when we both smelled what seemed to pee human urine. Strike 2. Either they didn’t clean their bathrooms or accepted some clothing that smelled or urine and put them out anyways. Disgusting. They took forever as well to look through my items when I was one of the first ones to bring them in that day. Everything was so jammed pack in the aisles and on the racks that I got so overwhelmed and had to leave so we paid for our items and then waited for them to be done going through our clothes. When we went back in to see what they had taken our bag was heavily damaged making it hard to carry out the remaining clothes. Also the lady suggested we bring them back in September when clearly she should be advising customers to maybe check out other locations for selling because they’re location obviously doesn’t need anymore. It’s like they don’t know when to stop buying and then want to take a whole bunch from others and offer them very little in return. In conclusion I can’t recommend this location. Terrible customer service and a very unclean store. Stop by the one in Arnold. You won’t be disappointed there.

Perfect for budgeting. You can set limits. And you get name brand clothes for a fraction of the cost. Some still with tags.

First of all I should say, this place is great to buy from. Most of the time the prices are cheaper than at the nearby Savers or Goodwill, and a plus is that I know most of the items have been examined for flaws before being sold.But selling to this location, can be a huge letdown. Certain employees are very rude.Like today, I tried to sell several totes of items. most of which were recently wiped clean and put into bags by category. The worker who looked through them, bought a lid from one toy pot, and left the pot. And bought a different pot but left me the lid. She also broke up two little sets of play dishes, including a tupperware set. There was a 4 cup tea set, and she bought all but 1 cup, and left two plates. Why do this kind of thing? The items were a set, and it was obvious. And no, none of them items were broken, or dirty. The sets were just randomly broken up and now I am left with a useless hodgepodge.Also, depending on who looks through your items, you may or may not get a decent price for sold items. Ive gotten what I felt was fair offerings before but I feel it really just depends on the workers disposition.The store itself is cramped and often the toy section is trashed. The aisles are long and narrow, and only one cart can fit through at a time. So if you go towards the middle of an aisle, you might end up trapped there by carts on either end. You can try to squeeze by them, but clothes will come off the shelves and fall to the floor.Not the fault of the employees, but many parents let their kids trash the toys and the toy section in general while they shop.

This store is better than ever since the remodel! My wife and I love going here for our three kids. Definitely sign up for the email as you will get special coupons and know first about sales.

Great store for gently used baby/kids clothes and equipment. The small clothes (18 months and less) are always buy 3-get 1 free. And they check all the equipment for recalls. The staff are nice.

Usually only great things to say but last time I guess I didn’t check the items as careful and one had a big stain on the back. A little disappointed but overall love everything I get there

Brought some baby clothes in to sell and after hearing how much I would get for 6 shirts and a nightgown I decided I would rather just take them back. The lady then wanted to argue with me over it being a fair deal ... 0.50 for each shirt she tried to tell me I would be getting a fair deal but in reality they will buy the clothes from you for .50 each and turn around to sell them for 3.50 when this was brought up she told me they sell shirts for 3.50 and the nightwear for 4.50 I had 6 shirts and a night gown they would have sold. They would have bought the clothes from me for 3.50 and sold them for 25.50 in total. The employee tried to tell me 3.50 is 40% of 25.50. guess they dont think their customers can perform basic math. To top it all off while waiting for them to price these items one of the employees approached behind and said Im trying to get through ... The word for that is excuse me but you wont get common courtesy in this store.

I regularly buy and sell at this particular Once Upon A Child location. The employees are sometimes overwhelmed with the amount of inventory that people bring in However, they are always right on target with the amount of time they will need to go through your things for sale. The store has become much more organized and I almost always find something there for my son.

Anytime Ive ever been here the employees are incredibly rude. They seem annoyed that they have to go through bins and bags .Ive never been somewhere and felt so uncomfortable. This location is right down the street from me and I would rather drive 30 minutes to a different one just to avoid it. Im disgusted the way Im treated here.

Not very friendly did not have a good experience. will be taking my gently used clothes elsewhere in the future. this was my last experience at this store and i had not read the previous comments until i decided to write a review because i was so hurt by my experience. i hate to pull the race card but it is rather funny that there have been several people with similiar experiences...people who do not have to live the life of a minority tend to want to make the victims feel guilty for feeling discriminated when sometimes you have to call a duck a duck and just stop focusing on your own personal view of society. i took my clothes elsewhere and the exact items that they refused to buy were purchased from another store.

I really like once upon a child and Think that its a good thing places like this exist to be able to buy,sell,trade items either used or brand new for FIRST TIME PARENTS TO FOURTH TIME PARENTS...Very HELPFUL..I just wish it wasnt so overwhelming I get lost in that store sometimes cause its so much inventory..

Ive been to this location twice and both times they have been very rude. Ive never had problems at other locations but after this time I will never go back to this location. also youre not asked if you want to wait while they look at your items you have to sell, they just tell you a time thats several hours away. so not Worth the gas of driving back home and coming back a few hours later

Im unimpressed by the stores terrible customer service. The items that say they are on sale are not rang out properly and if question the sale you are treated with contempt. This has happened on more than one occasion. The staff is not respectful of the customers and they are not polite when trading in either. I have vowed to never go there again and to go to the Purple cow instead hoping for a better experience

Very rude! I took in two bags of clothes in and a stroller. They only wanted to buy two dresses . Ripped the bags open and threw them inside the stroller once they were done going through my things. Ripped the bags open so bad the clothes were falling out of the bag. I wouldnt recommend anyone to go to this location. I dont know how the other ones are, but every time I go to this location its not a good experience

Great selection, fair prices, but WAY too cramped, and the toys are always so scattered and unorganized. Its all too overwhelming for me, Ill try another location.

They only accept name brands, or at least thats the impression I got from them. I gave them clothes that my son couldnt even wear because he grew PAST them and they didnt accept them because it was out of season even though the website says they accept ALL SEASONS of different apparel YEAR ROUND. I wont be returning.

Went to once upon a child in kirkwood and brought 2 big blue storage bins of clothes.. 3 hours later we get $13 and only a couple outfits picked out even though my youngest has not worn half of them..what a waste of time!!!Told the ladies there that there is no room in the car for the 2 blue bins of storage clothes as we r leavong town right now and will need to pick them up tuesday. Walked out and was told we had to take them now. I am SO pissed at that place for wasting 3 hours of my time and giving me $13 that RIDICULOUS! I use to go there all the time and drop off my oldest sons clothes and pick up new ones for him but they have become unhelpful, extemely picky and more pricey in my opinion the last few years.I will no longer be going to them and highly suggest you not either!!!

Very rude and short. ..everytime i would bring clothes in there for them to buy back, plus i seen a roach crawling out of someones clothes they brought in to sell to there store they still accepted there box......and that was my breaking point of ever shopping there or bringing clothes there i rather drive the extra 15mins which is all together a 35min drive for me to mid rivers

Went there for the 1st time today after reading the horrible reviews hoping that things wouldnt be that bad, but sadly it was horrible! There was 5 workers and 1 doing checkout with a line, the worker was so rude and unfriendly. When we went to leave she slammed the bag on the counter and turned and walked away without even a have a nice day or bye or anything! Worst customer service Ive ever seen in a place!

First time grandmother here, love that I could go in and find what I needed to take care of my grandson at a great price. and regarding the accusation of racism, a young black person came in with a bag of clothes and she was treated exactly the same as the white persons with respect.

After reading those previous reviews, Im guessing that none of them had visited the Telegraph location! ( which has thankfully closed) I was treated with a friendly welcome at the Kirkwood location, BECAUSE IM ALSO FRIENDLY! So make sure before you write bad reviews, that you are a 5 star customer!!If one person gave bad service, call the manager 1st!!!! youre hurting the business with the whining and unfounded accusations (racist??? really???)

Terrible. Was not greeted whatsoever. Walked in to hear the girls talking about their guy problems. The employees were super rude. They are supposed to give you a stamp card, customer appreciation card, where they add a stamp for every $10 spent. My fiancee had to ask for the stamp card to which employee labled DMS on the receipt said, do you not have one already? When my fiance said no, she groaned and exaggeratedly got out the card and only put 2 of the 3 stamps on the card, requiring us to ask AGAIN for her to put the stamp on the card. Just rude and lazy.

I always go to this store, most of the time i found what i need, prices are okay, some clothing over priced. But mostly are the expensive brands. Ive actually never been to this location, so I read through the reviews to see if I should and it doesnt look like I will be going. Occasional bad reviews happen and are sometimes fabricated, but you have many MANY reviews of poor and rude customer service and it appears that it isnt being addressed there OR here which illustrates poor management as well. Called and checked on a baby crib was told that it will b on a 24 hr hold...went in the next day was not greeted by anyone!! I asked for assistance several times.was told the crib i had on hold was sold and that nobody had the put the crib on hold..i will never come here again..poor store wouldnt even give this store a star..

This is nothing like the other Onxe Upon a Child stores weve (my wife and I) have been in.Poorly organized, over priced, poor service and dirty (needed cleaned from top to bottom and Ive seen cleaner rest stop restrooms than what theirs was), this store doesnt live up to its name. Shop with caution.

They only except a limited number of items at a time. They are very inflexible about drop off and having to return the exact same day.

I go to this store maybe ever other month or so. I like the prices of the clothes.However, they give you a card that the mark off after so much money spent where you can get 20 percent off, I have had 3 cards used up and never have gotten a 20 percent off. Not sure why.Also dont like they say the take every season on website year round when they dont.

Not so great customer service wise was told to bring in used toys then told couldnt accept anything because cars where missing controls that wasnt even purchased with controls.
