Dr. Pettit has been a caring and thoughtful doctor for our family. We have seen many ear doctors for my sonand he is the best, from my experience. He is so patient and thoughtful in his recommendations and he is not afraid to recommend other specialists if needed. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience at Hearken Audiology in Kirksville. Dr. Pettit took the time to explain things so I could make an informed decision regarding my hearing challenges. I felt no pressure to make a decision and was given options to consider. I felt comfortable with his expertise and confident in my choices. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, I felt at ease with each of them, plus I felt comfortable in their ability to assist me. The Hearken Hearing & Audiology people are very amiable. I went to a discount hearing aid department at a large wholesale club and the lady there was not able to get a good audiology test and told me to go to a Doctor of Audiology to get a valid test. I told Dr. Pettit’s office that I wanted to get a test to take to the hearing aid department of the wholesale club. They gave me the same great treatment as they would give a buyer of their hearing aids. Very thorough examination and friendly staff.Greeted upon entry and a free gift of local honey with a nice card.Explained the procedure and various models and costs. Had pricing options from Budget to top of the line for hearing aids.Took advantage of a free hearing test during an open house in May 2019.Ordered hearing aids for my Dad so we will see.So far, I would highly recommend this office for your hearing needs.They did have water and snacks and pillows available as well for comfort.Impressive to say the least.

Great place to get hour hearing tested. I was having problems of static in my left ear. Discovered hearing loss in my right that had worsened. Trial two weeks of hearing aids under way. Wax removed which eliminated static. Thecaring staff was appreciated. VA approves of their services,too. Glad they are in Kirksville.

We have been there twice. The doctor did a great job with my hyper 8 year old and his nonstop questions. Appointments have been easy to get and the staff have been very helpful dealing with weird insurance situations and working with the other providers involved.

My 2 year old has built up earwax and since they were offering a free hearing screen/test we decided to schedule an appointment. Prior to my appointment, I had many concerns about my sons hearing and how its impacting his development. So I called the office stating my concerns and questions about the tests/pricing. Sara at front desk is always courteous, quickly to respond and address my concerns, respectful and makes us feel important... Not many places will make you feel valued, loved and understand your concerns. Dr. Petit is excellent and so patient with my son. When you come here you know youll get the best. Short wait time. Went in for an exam for my kids and myself. The office was awesome with lots of amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Pettit was awesome with the kids, and at the end, we got cute insulated tumblers with treats for the kids and a note from Dr. Pettit. My kids had a great time learning about ears, seeing the camera show the inside of their ears, and pushing the button in the booth. They literally said, I didnt know the doctors could be so much fun! 10/10 would recommend!!

I now hear things I haven’t heard for years. Sound are much crisper. Some sounds have additional tones that have been fun to hear. Just tapping on the back of my hand has a much different sound to it. I love these aids to my hearing.Dr. Petit is very professional in his approach and honest. It is a blessing to have gone in to him. I’ve had my hearing tested before but was not happy.I would refere anyone who is questioning if they need help to see Dr. Petit, he is good at what he does.

Nobody wants to think their sudden hearing loss could be permanent. Nervous about these changes my GP physician set up an appointment with Dr. Benjamin Pettit. Accommodating beyond belief, Dr. Pettit saw me within hours. Addressing sudden hearing loss is a time sensitive action - with best results occurring within the week.Dr. Pettits friendly team, family centered atmosphere and impressive setup and equipment had me feeling I would get the best care and explanation of my issue. I was able to view the diagnositic process on screen with advance technology. And I was given a complete review at the end of my testing with all my questions answered. It helped me feel in control.The results were sent immediately to my ENT, my GP physician and to me. I left feeling valued and that my hearing correction was of concern by the Hearken hearing team. I was given the choice of going to another Audiologist in town. So glad I choose Dr. Pettite.
