I am very happy that we came here for our first Pointe Shoe fitting. Holly was amazing. She explained everything in detail and went over each step. The selection of tights, leotards and masks was amazing. We will definitely be back!

The moment my daughter and I stepped in, we felt the magic! My daughter even said it’s so beautiful! I agree. Really neat and clean. Very knowledgeable store staff, I would say (I’m a former dancer). We bought ballet slippers and tights. We’d go back here for future needs.

Dancewear center has been a great place to buy everything I need for dance performances and classes. It took me quite a while to find “my dance store” in the Seattle area, but they’ve become my go to spot for all my dance needs. They also have a fun social media presence that keeps you in the loop on everything they’re doing, and also gives a great platform for awesome local dancers!

Olivia was very knowledgeable and found a great pair of pointe shoes for my daughter. Wonderful selection of shoes, tights, spacers, Leos, and anything else you need for class. Store was clean. All the employees were friendly and helpful.

Dancewear Center is an incredible, local, family owned business. The new owners and staff are extremely knowledgeable and some are even professional dancers themselves. Each time my daughter has been fitted for Pointe shoes, the staff takes the time to make sure she’s happy. But most of all, that she’s safe while dancing en pointe in the correct shoe for her skill and foot type. If you’re looking for an amazing dance store with lots of unique items and an experienced staff, this is the place for you!

I’ve always gotten my shoes fitted at Kirkland Dancewear Center, and it is always a great experience! The fitters for pointe shoes are excellent and make great suggestions, and the store itself is well organized which makes it easy to find everything you need. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone in need of dance shoes, clothes, and more!

My daughter just got her Demi point shoes and they found the one just right for my daughters feet. They asked her questions and educated her on how they should feel... and they even added a little goodie bag for her and her class! They where so thought full and thought of everything to make her comfortable (asked for consistent before touching her feet, made sure that she put on hand sanitizer, wore her mask over her nose and mouth etc.) Samantha made this experience fun, quick, and educational about dance.

Not only do they have everything you need at their store, they have the best products and fabulous staff, they also come to your studio with their mobile van. Were able to schedule a pop-up shop multiple times and provide our dance families with everything they need to be successful. They dont just bring their store, they also bring their knowledgable staff for pointe shoe fittings. I love them!

The mobile pointe shoe shop came to our dance studio where I teach. It was a great experience for us and our dancers who got to have their shoes fitted right next to their teachers. The staff were knowledgable and friendly. I would highly recommend this service!

I have two young girls, eight and ten. We would never go anywhere else for our dance and ballet needs. The customer service is simply outstanding. You can tell from the moment that you walk in that these are people who really care about making sure that you get whats right for you and NOT what is simply going to net them the most profit.The owners are obviously vested in you and your child. Their selection is always wonderful. They want to make sure that you get exactly what you want and that the fit is absolutely perfect. Their attention to detail AND comfort is also phenomenal. And, heres what I really love. They work hard to make your childs experience there a fun one!I highly recommend the Dancewear Center for all of your dance and ballet needs.

Absolutely beautiful shop with knowledge, friendly staff

The lady at the store taught me the pros and cons of a canvas vs leather ballet shoes; she explained to me how i should sew up the elastic band for the shoe. She helped me fit a ballet shoe size i was comfortable in. When i was unclear on how to tie a certain skirts style, she was very kind and showed me the right way. She was very patient and helped explain the questions I had. I had a great experience here and would personally come back.

I got fitted here and they were amazing. The shoes were great for my feet, and they were very very nice!! I totally recommend this place if you want the perfect pair of Pointe shoes!!😊

We always go here for pointe shoes. The ownership has recently changed and they seem like nice people. Do miss the old guy fitter.

The staff here were very helpful, kind, and efficient. They were very sweet with my preschool age daughter who needed new ballet slippers. They helped me find exactly what we needed quickly, and didnt try to upsell us which I really appreciate because dancewear and accessories can add up quickly. We will definitely visit again when its time to size up!

Ive had two pointe fittings here, one amazing and one not very good. If you end up with one of the owners, youre in great hands! They are knowledgeable and patient, if something needs to be tweaked they know before you do and seem to look at each change as an interesting challenge! The younger woman that fitted me last time was not the same, however. She seemed to grow impatient when the shoes werent working, and it seemed like she knew as much or less than I did about fitting pointe shoes. So just make sure youre being fitted by one of the owners and youll be happy with your fit!

Updating my review because this store and its staff are great and go above and beyond for their customers. My daughter was in Canada at a summer ballet intensive and needed pointe shoes that she was unable to get at the local ballet stores near her. Dancewear Center shipped her the pointe shoes she needed and even put a sweet message on a fun reader board for her. It really was very sweet and she appreciated it so much.Thank you for taking such great care of us. Very knowledgable and friendly. Great place to get pointe shoes and dance attire.

This was my first time shopping here and I had one of the owners helping me get a pair of pointe shoes, he was very rude because I didn’t know I was supposed to bring my old pointe shoes. He didn’t ask me how the shoes felt, or how comfortable they were. All in all, my experience was very poor here.
