Amazing experience! CityMac was easy to get in touch with and ask questions. Josh was excellent and efficient - he turned my repair around in 30 minutes. Ill definitely be back for all of my Apple needs!
Every time I go into CityMac I have a great experience! The team there is always very helpful, especially to somebody like me who is not a techie. Corey is usually the one who assists me, and is always willing to go the extra mile in helping out and finding solutions. Thanks again CityMac team!
City Mac has always provided very good personal service. We have many Apple products purchased and on rare occasions repaired through City Mac (and their prior iteration as TD Curran) and we have never had a bad experience. I do not go to the Apple store since there is nothing they do that can’t be done with better customer service at City Mac.
The repair guys are great. Absolute perfect communication and very high level knowledge about the products. Very helpful and will always point you in the right direction!
My screen cover was damaged and Cory was very helpful replacing and installing the new one. He showed me how to register it so I can get a free one if I ever need it replaced. It’s always a pleasure working with him.
Good folks, good products, good help & info.... This has become my go-to place for all things Mac & mobile. Especially appreciate the positive attitude of staff & info-sessions with Tyler have help me better utilize all these new tech tools. 5-stars!
Very friendly and helpful staff, Tyler helped us get out phones diagnosed and they fixed our battery same-day. Very happy. The chairs are not comfortable and the door slams shut, but besides that everything was great!
The team at CityMac took care of an Apple warranty repair on my MacBook Pro keyboard from start to finish before I could even find an available Genius Bar appointment at any local Apple store. The convenience of the location and the timeliness of their service team are second to none. (Bonus points for being located next door to probably the best coffee shop on the Eastside.)
They installed a new battery for me in an old MacBook Air. I called before heading in, they checked and had it in stock, gave me the cost and got it done in less than an hr. The service was fast and friendly. I had called another store in Redmond and it was more expensive and they wouldnt even check to see if they had the battery until I brought my laptop in. On top of that, they wanted to $149 just for labor, in addition to the cost of the battery that they said would cost anywhere from $99-199. WTF? Thankfully, CityMac was able to save the day. I paid $189 total at CityMac and that was it for installation and battery together.
Quick review, totally positive and they didnt solve my problem....thats how good the customer service was. I was trying to transfer some data from a 5s to a 7 and was helped by Sonny. Man, if he didnt try just about everything under the sun including an app that wasnt under the Apple umbrella. The problem was my creation in iTunes and I really kinda knew I was going to have to fix it myself manually over several hours of hand transferring....but Sonny tried and tried and tried.
Went to Apple Store and told they had the part, but it would take 3-5 days to repair my I-Mac. CityMac did not have the part but was able to repair in 24 hours. Great service, friendly staff, and even carried my I-Mac to the car. They will be my 1st stop from now on.
Had problems with both iPhone and iPad and received excellent, helpful service. Employees knowledgeable, specifically Tyler who took the time to fix my problems and explain what went awry! Even updated my phone for me. This too is my go to store. Highly recommend Kirkland CityMac.
I brought in my Mid 2015 MacBook Pro to have a noisy fan investigated. I was expecting at least $100 in repairs. At CityMac, Josh ran diagnostics, took the back off the system and cleaned the fans, and now it runs quietly again. When I asked how much the bill was, he indicated No charge.I would have happily paid $25 or so for this repair. Im grateful that I stopped in to CityMac (this was my first visit) and Ill be going there again in the future, for Mac-related systems, parts and services.
Sonny Lopez is the man to see at the Kirkland Totem Lake City Mac store. Polite, knowledgeable & swift he will answer any questions you have and initiate repairs.
Great alternative to the always crowded apple store! Excellent service and sound advice.
The guys that work at this store are amazing! I had a warranty issue with the sleep/wake button in my iPhone 5 and they went above and beyond on the service. Thanks again!!
I am astonished at the negative reviews below.....I took my phone into this store on our way down to a family event in Puyallup. This store was the only one that was willing to accept my Apple Care AND could get it done TODAY.At the time that we dropped it off their internet had just gone down and they were having problems getting me checked in but Josh and Forest went out of their way to help me and said they would make it work. I gave them all of my info and told them that we would see them in a few hours. When we were about an hour out I called the store and spoke to a VERY VERY rude Cameron who told me that my phone would be ready in about 15 minutes. Im sure that he was just frustrated with the day but I was not impressed with his tone.Upon arriving to the store Josh checked us out and told me that my total was $307!!!! I was astonished and reminded him that I had Apple Care on my new IPhone X. He proceeded to tell me that it showed limited warranty!! Another issue on T-Mobiles side - Long story short, after a lengthy call with T-Mobile and a lot of cursing on my part, they told Josh that I do have Apple Care but that they couldnt provide him with a reference number that he needed to process the transaction.......so what did he do?????? Josh charged us only $32!!!!! Unbelievable!!!! There is no reason why anyone should speak ill of this store (unless dealing with Cameron).I will forever take any of my Apple products to Josh
Needed to grab a laptop in the AM to setup before an interview in the PM and the guys here helped me out super fast. Followed up a week later to check in with my satisfaction with the laptop and make sure I didnt have any questions. Professional, knowledgable, and genuinely nice guys.
Friendly, excellent service. I have switched from going into Seattle or Bellevue Apple Stores to City Mac!
Had a problem with an app on my Ipad. Stopped in at City Mac to see if they could help. Tyler and Chase were great help. They got me back on track by suggesting a very easy and inexpensive solution. Thanks guys. BTW I buy all of my computing hardware at City Mac.
Wow I respect this place . Awesome customer service! It was as recommended by One of apple customer service associate.
Great service, quick responses to questions, knowledgeable, and overall very helpful. Highly recommend!!!
Super helpful and friendly! I’ll be going here for any of my Mac needs
Needed help getting my iPad to recognize my sign in....nothing worked for me at home. Jason at City Mac solved my problem in minutes. A very user-friendly store. I highly recommend it. Mimi
I needed to add RAM to an iMac. I bought the RAM online from another vendor and have one of those iMacs that is very difficult to upgrade RAM. The good people at CityMac in Kirkland, WA installed the third-party RAM without quibbling, turned the work around very quickly, and at an extremely good price. Superb customer service I would recommend CityMac/Kirkland to anybody.
Had a brand new iPad that had battery issues. These guys took it in, tried to replicate and just like the noise in your car... it wouldnt do it. I took it back, meticulously noted dates, times, endurances etc., and we figured out it was either the keyboard or the connection. Josh followed up, listened and we received a new keyboard. Solved so far. Charge times are half of what they were, charge is lasting and no strobe issues. Thanks guys, so far so good. Lets hope its not trying to sneak one in on me as soon as I post this message :)
Nothing but great things to say about this establishment and its employees. The store is new and modern with plenty of apple and verizon products to choose from. The employees are what sets this store aside from others; theyre the most knowledgeable and friendly staff ive ever encountered at an electronics store. I will always shop at TD Curran before going directly to Apple or Verizon.Give them a try!
Excellent service, same pricing as the apple store but with friendly service. Can’t beat the convenience and support of the folks at CityMac
Great store, but it is now closed.
Had an issue with my IMAC (2007) a few weeks ago. after a remote access update from Apple, the IMAC would not restart. Called and brought the unit in to Kirkland CityMac. After talking with technician left the unit. Got a email & message the following week. Issue was resolved. Took it home and on another restart also failed again. Brought it back and tech went through it and did deep dive based on printout from safe-mode. Software issue that required some digging to resolve. Got the message to pick my IMAC up. Works great now. No further occurrence to date. did another restart this morning after a sec. upgrade. I am extremely pleased with the support level, high caliber technicians and great job done by all at Kirkland CityMac. I would recommend them highly if you want quality support and a great work ethic. Thank you CityMac.
All techicians were very helpful and professional.
Cant say enough good things about McKenna and Stewart of City Mac. We brought my daughters phone in for repair, and they tried everything they could think of to get it going again. No rush or pressure, just kept trying different things. Eventually they gave us a loaner phone (that alone is worth driving over here to have!), and continued to work on it over the weekend. McKenna helped my daughter back her files up to the Cloud and explained to her how she could set up her phone better. Stewart brought another tech in to continue to find a solution. Both went above and beyond in customer service. Im so glad we found this place! Thank you, guys, for all you did!
Great service! Replaced my iPhone 6s battery in one hour as a walk in. Parking is not convenient.
I tried to sell my old iPhone, MacBook and iPad to them and it took them 6 weeks to run diagnosics. When I called to check in they say they meant to call and that something was needed from me. This happened twice then again when I went to pick up the devices. Gave a decent price for devices but definitely not convenient.
Mega issues not resolved by Verizon or Apple Genius Bar. Sonny resolved everything !!!! Really really appreciated. And no wait or appointment needed and great staff. Now on google maps favorite!!!!
Amazing service and very helpful!! My MacBook Airs airport broke so I couldnt connect to wifi. I needed wifi asap and needed a quick fix. They went out of their way to help me install an external wifi thing but it didnt work. Then, with less than a hour until closing, they let me run home to grab something I bought online and helped me install that! Solved my problem and saved my butt! Thank you!
I went in for a new battery for my phone and was talked into a new phone/upgrade by one of the employees because she said it would be cheaper to get the new phone with my trade in because I would only have have to pay $65 instead of $90 . Apparently I was lied to because I paid the $65 plus on my phone bill not only do I have an activation fee I have an extra $40 a month to pay for the phone. Not what I was told and not what I would have chosen to do.
Permanently closed, and vacated the premises, but still has voicemail saying they are open and will call you back.
UPDATED* My warrantee barely ran out when my battery was going bad and CityMac made it right and changed my battery for free.
