Nice place for coffee and a croissant, plenty of space to eat inside or outside. The almond croissant was so good, would highly recommend. They have a very good ham & cheese croissant too. Would recommend the croissants over the regular baked goods

Flawless. This place is so good, a hidden gem some might say! I ended up going twice during my trip, the staff passed the vibe check. The guy in the black hat was so nice, he gave us some amazing recommendations and he even practiced saying my full name in the back before calling it out. The cappuccino he made was a 15/10.

Great place to meet with a friend. It was very busy and hard to find a seat but they have plenty of seating indoor and outdoors. Unfortunately they were out of a few milks in the morning but they were kind and offered what they had. A soy beverage was made with regular milk and they remade it and gave us the extra drink for free which was delicious to me but my friend cannot have dairy. Overall great place and products- I don’t believe my experience today was the norm but I don’t believe in making a fuss over something as small as using the wrong milk. As a former barista, I think this place is great.

Another place that aggressively does not want your business. Especially at your convenience. Checked their website and found a delightful looking cake that my partner would surely love. Saw that I could make an online order, but it states We will reach you within 48 hours to complete the order. Now, I dont really want to be on-call to say yes, I would indeed like a cake. Especially the weekend before Halloween (we have some plans involving mazes. How irritated would I be if they called while I was out in a muddy maze? So I check the stores hours on their site and hours state open until 4pm on Friday. Not great, but Im able to duck out of work a little early and actually arrive at 2:57. Why so specific? When walking toward the building I see the Closed sign. I slowly make my way up because Im a little taken aback. Theres another sign saying Due to workforce bah bah bah we close at 3. For the record thats not a word for word quote. Check my phone and its not quite 3, but a gentleman behind the counter sipping espresso is doing his best not to acknowledge me. Fair enough. A little hurtful, but fair enough. So I cant give my order in person. Next best thing! I call! I dislike talking on phones, but this seems the obvious solution. Ring, ring, ring. Some more ring, ring, ring. I hear the phone. They hear the phone. They ignore the phone. Well, Ill leave a message of my intent to order a cake. Were sorry, the automated inbox for The French Bakery is full. Please try your call again at another time.My option? Try to go in at another time to place the order, fill out the online form and wait up to forty eight hours, or go somewhere else. Surely theres a bakery in the area that wants my business...

Great pastries, delicious drinks. Just avoid the horror that they call crepes. Also avoid any of their cooked food. A crouque madame should not have unmelted sliced cheese in it, and the fried egg shouldnt just be tossed on top... Stick with the drinks and pastries and you will be good

Decent breakfast sandwiches, drinks, and pastry items. However, youll likely need to wait around awhile for a place to sit. I cant go 5-stars for a couple reasons: 1) prices are steep, and 2) the indignant behaviour of an employee towards those who didnt meet her facemask standard. She actually berated a couple different customers during my short visit. At this point, with the majority of folks having had at least one vaccine, theres really no need for that attitude. You can always catch more bees with honey than with vinegar.

This French Bakery location is very bustling in the morning on a Saturday, a local meeting placing for the mature, Kirkland crowd. Croissants are fluffy and crusty, pretty good standard. Pastries not super sweet which is perfect. Coffee and latte are alright. About ten tables so not too large either. Nice urban residential feel. (。•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧

I came to this place from time to time in the last 10+ yrs. Obviously, the portion size is getting bigger (so as it food menu !!) while quality went really downhill after it became a chain of 4 instead of 2 shops!Classic FRENCH croissant is stale (Sundays morning batch during this long weekend?!) The bakery vibe feels much less french than the past, so sad. Fortunately, baguette is still better than any store bought ones from nearby grocery stores. Mind you, the gap is getting smaller IMO.I think it is the time for this place to change its name.

Staff were very friendly, cafe was clean and attractive, and everything looked lovely. Sadly, the coffee was just ok and the goat cheese and spinach crepe with honey I ate was not good. The amount of spinach was overwhelmingly bitter that didnt work well with the goat cheese and there was not enough honey to cut through the bitter notes.

Every time I visit my daughter in Seattle, we come here for chocolate croissants. They are to die for. I also get the excellent mocha. The French bakery also offers many other baked goods and most types of coffees. It is a small shop with some indoor seating and some outdoor seating. You have to park on the street as there is no parking lot here. But the street parking is mostly free for the short visit you will have at the French bakery.

The French Bakery was nice but not great. I had gotten a Black Forest ham and jalapeno crepe and a 16 oz drip. The crepe batter was a bit heavy and the crepe its self came out a bit greasy. Over all it was good but I think Ill try something else next time.I also had an Almond pastry and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely come back for the pastries.

This is one of the smaller French Bakery locations, compared to say Redmond Town Center or Crossroads Mall. I like their daily menu, typically some kind of hot meal. Their bread, baked goods tend to sell fast. Go there later in the day and you will find only refrigerated cake slices, etc. Pastries are very tasty, most recognized for their twice baked almond croissants.

Nothing French about this place at all. The place is too small and disorganized and the food is bland and tasteless. Woman at the register was not very friendly and didnt give any direction as to how our food would be served. You have to order your food and then snag a table in the overcrowded dining area, but listen for them to call your order over at the counter. (Either that or stand by the counter and wait (a long time) but be prepared to constantly move out of the way as the staff and other customers try to get by. If youre standing at the counter waiting then you are basically standing within 1 foot of someones table). Our 2 dishes were served separately with too much time in between. By the time my wifes order came out, mine was cold. And the way they serve your order is a woman appears from the back, puts a plate on the counter next to the register and walks away. You already paid so they could care less if you actually noticed your food was sitting at the counter. Dining area was messy, place was overcrowded and the food was very bland. Would not recommend.

Everyone here is super friendly and the pastries are to die for, what isnt is the wait. They only have 3 people working at this location on the weekends which means extremely long wait times.
