I went to 5 bridal shops in the Seattle area and 2 in Reno and this was hands down the best experience. Things I really appreciated:1) The owner Ashley knows her stuff and is incredibly professional and proactively helpful. She can consult you on texture, fit, style, timeline, accessories etc with over ten years in the industry. She also really puts you in the dress in a way that is much more flattering compared to other boutiques.2) The dresses are high quality and stunning. I felt so beautiful trying these dresses. Ashley would have me pick several to start and then based on what I was liking or not liking she would bring other dresses over which always looked great.3) The boutique ambience felt fancy yet comfortable. Id been to a couple stuffy places where I felt I was imposing and had the honor of being there. The decor and attitude here are all about making you feel great and worthy.4) Delta!! We loved having Delta the dog with us. She was so sweet and greeted us and then quickly settled down/took her place during the fitting.

Not only is the shop itself gorgeous, and in the best location, with the most insanely beautiful gowns… but the WHOLE team at Nyanza is so incredibly wonderful to work with! They went out of their way to make sure I could try on/get the dress of my dreams! For each alteration appointment they knew exactly what the dress needed to be perfect! And when it was time to take it home for the big day, the amount of care Ashley put into making sure it was safe for travel to the UK made me extra appreciative! I am so happy I was able to get my wedding dress here! I only wish it was acceptable to buy and wear wedding dresses all the time, so I could keep going back :) But, I’ll be sure to bring my sisters here when it’s their turn!

I don’t care what anyone says. Delta was the part of wedding dress shopping I never knew I needed!Doggo aside, this place is a heaven sent. The experience of buying a wedding gown, is emotional and stressful and can sometimes feel as if your just another ‘sale’ to some shops. This beautiful small business changed my perspective of the experience, these ladies made me feel heard, beautiful, understood and most importantly the most comfortable throughout our time together. Feeling like the most amazing version of yourself is clearly what this store values, and I just can’t rave enough.This is the place to go for anything and everything bridal, I can’t thank these ladies enough!

From the moment I walked into Nyanza Bridal, I knew I was destined to find my wedding dress here. All the gowns are SO BEAUTIFUL and the collection of dresses is not like any other bridal boutique.Ashley, Sara, (and Delta, the cute pup) are the sweetest people youll meet! They are SO accommodating and will go above and beyond to help you find your dream dress. And it doesnt stop there! Once youve found the one, they are there every step of the way. From the arrival of your dress to multiple alterations appointments to the day you pick up your perfectly ready-to-go dress, they are always 5 steps ahead! Im SO grateful to have found Nyanza...they truly made me feel the most beautiful on my big wedding day. I cannot recommend Nyanza enough!

I honestly cant say enough good things about my amazing experience being a Nyanza bride. Ashley, Sara and Julia were all so kind, considerate and vastly knowledgeable. Being a pandemic bride had a lot of hardships, but working with these lovely ladies to find, style and fit my dress was honestly one of the best customer experiences Ive ever had. The store is comfortable and just bursting with so many gorgeous things (and the most adorable friendly shop dog, Delta). Each gown is impeccably taken care of and in great condition. Sara and Ashley always listened to every detail of my vision and went out of their way to make sure I had exactly what I needed. Julia is a WIZARD when it comes to alterations. The work she did on my multi layer tulle bustle was nothing short of art. They even went so far as to source multiple options when I asked to add buttons to the closure of my dress. My Vera Wang gown, Maria Elena Headpiece and veil all stole my heart and I am forever grateful to them for making me feel like my best self on my wedding day. Zero regrets, just so much joy and gratitude. For real- from one bride to another, give these ladies your business and youll be so grateful you did!

Visited this bridal shop on 9/11/21. Staff was friendly and we were greeted immediately upon entering the establishment. Although we did not have an appointment, she took the time to explain their process, the type of gowns they had and price ranges. She then offered to let us look around at dresses. During this time we noticed they had a dog in their shop which seemed odd, I would be worried about the gowns getting ruined. After speaking with her, my friend and I began looking at dresses. I came across one on a rack and as I pulled it out, the dog loudly barked and jumped at me as if to snip at me. Unsure if staff witnessed it but we then left. Dresses were beautiful but due to this mishap uncertain I would return if dog is at the location. Felt a little bit unsafe.

If you are still looking for a wedding dress, I highly recommend you stop by and see Ashley at Nyanza. The selection and quality will leave you feeling refreshed that there is hope to finding a dress if you have been feeling overwhelmed that you wont find what you looking for. Ashley not only knew everything about each dress and designer but she also helped me feel more knowledgeable and more in tune with what I was looking for in my search. I cant rave about Ashley enough other than to tell you to go for a visit if you havent yet!

Do not buy a wedding dress until youve seen Nyanzas collection and had the pleasure to interact with Ashley. Shes knowledgeable, reassuring, and very respectful of your space and the significance of buying a wedding dress. I just bought my dress from Nyanza and couldnt be happier! Not to mention, you get to give Delta, Ashleys dog, unlimited belly rubs while you try on dresses!

Ashley was amazing. She has a lot of knowledge about all dresses and their designers and you can tell she is very passionate. She did not pressure me in buying the dress on the spot, she was very honest about delivery options and timelines.The shop itself has a great selection of dresses, from middle range price to higher end, but the quality is amazing.I am just sorry I found the shop only 4 months before my wedding and couldnt try all dresses as some would not be delivered in time.

Wedding planning during a pandemic has certainly been interesting but my dress shopping experience was taken above and beyond by going to Nyanza Bridal! Ashley and the team at Nyanza made it so I didn’t feel like my experience was lesser because of the restrictions in place due to Covid, which was very important to me. The whole process of shopping at Nyanza was highly personalized and Ashley was really able to understand my style and the vision I was going for for the big day. Nyanza has an amazing selection and range of dresses that would fit any bride’s style and needs. Ashley’s knowledge and understanding of each dress and designer is astounding and makes the process of finding your dress so much easier! Their knowledge of the wedding industry in general is awesome to have available too. In trying on my dress, I was also able to bounce ideas off Ashley about other aspects of the wedding, tying the color of my dress into the rest of the decor, etc. Shopping at Nyanza and ultimately buying my dress there was one of the best decisions I’ve made through the wedding planning process! I couldn’t recommend Nyanza Bridal enough and I can’t wait to continue working with them through alterations and final fittings!

I was greeted right away by a friendly associate upon walking in. The layout of the store is aesthetically pleasing and the quality of their selection is second to none. The team is incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. If anyone asks me where they should shop for their big day, I am sending them here!

I had the most amazing experience at Nyanza Bridal. Ashley (the store owner) is truly the person you want helping you chose your wedding dress. I had gone to 7 other stores and was feeling absolutely defeated, like I just wouldnt be able to find what I was looking for. First, Ashley made you feel so at home. You were never rushed, never pushed into anything you didnt want to try, and you felt so ease. Second, her selection of dresses is AMAZING. Best selection I had seen, and she knew down to the detail of each dress. Third, she can really help you envision how you will look, and feel on the day. She thinks about things you may not, and feels like your advocate after 5 minutes of meeting her. I could not recommend Nyanza bridal more. So thankful for them and thank you Ashely (and Delta :) ) For helping me find my dream dress!!!

I initially wrote a review for when I ordered my dress and wanted to add on now that Ive done my final fittings and will be picking up the dress for my wedding soon. Ashley (the owner) and Sara go above and beyond to make you feel special. During this difficult time with COVID, Ashley was in constant communication with me about when I could come in (it looked like time was less and less on our side at first) and when my dress would arrive.Ashley was reassuring the entire time and really made me feel like a priority. I also had a cross necklace I wanted to wear with my dress, but it had really difficult knots in the chain. Ashley offered to fix it and was able to get the knots out in five minutes! Ashley also is storing my dress and veil, as well as steaming them for me until I pick it up.Sara and Ashley made sure to look over every part of my dress during alterations and made excellent recommendations for alterations that made my dress fit like a glove and feel like a second skin! I cannot recommend this bridal boutique enough. I would recommend it to any of my friends!

Highly recommend this bridal shop. They have a variety of dresses that are high quality and are not found anywhere else in the Seattle area. Ashley the owner, and Sarah were really supportive and not at all pushy throughout the whole decision making process. Can’t wait to wear my dress!

When you are in the store, you feel like you are in a friend’s home because they are so welcoming. I shopped at several other bridal stores, including Nordstrom, in Seattle and no other store compared to the quality (both of designers and care/cleanliness of the dresses), selection and variety of dresses, and overall knowledge and service of the bridal team. I highly recommend Nyanza Bridal!

I had the most amazing experience at Nyanza! I was very picky about what I wanted for my dress and there was only one online I could find that I actually liked everything about! I tried on COUNTLESS other dresses at bridal boutiques in Seattle and Spokane. After my disappointment, I decided to pursue finding the dress I originally found online. My dress is a Justin Alexander and after calling all of the boutiques in Portland, Spokane, Seattle, Idaho AND Montana that carried Justin Alexander, Nyanza was the ONLY place that had THE DRESS. They had just opened, so I got very lucky. They have been so responsive with emails and throughout the whole process. I couldnt recommend them more!

I had the most wonderful experience at Nyanza Bridal! I live nearby and passed the shop multiple times before being engaged and knew I wanted to go in someday based off the gorgeous dresses in their window.I originally planned to do my big wedding dress shopping at Nordstroms and just test out what the experience was like at Nyanza. Sara, my stylist, was great in recognizing my style and she pulled dresses I may not have noticed before and I ended up loving them. Sara was patient, knowledgeable, and had a great eye for my style when I explained it to her.I did go to Nordstroms, but my appointment felt rushed, my stylist picked dresses that were not my style or I had specifically told her I did not like the style of (ex: strapless) and she went over my budget by a lot. At Nyanza I was given as much time as I needed, they respected my budget, and pulled dresses I loved.I ended up finding the one at Nyanza and Im so happy it was in their store and I could give them business. I would highly recommend this boutique for their selection of dresses, professionalism, and incredible staff who know what they are doing! Thank you Nyanza!

We bought my daughter’s gorgeous Ramona Kaveza dress at Nyanza Bridal, as well as a stunning, contemporary tiara (and believe me, we had never envisioned a tiara until the owner, Ashley, pulled thisout!) If our experience is the norm, you will receive excellent service and attention to every detail.
