The sales rep was very helpful with selecting a good paint brush. However, the paint he recommended was not appropriate. It contained primer and I had trouble with the application. I wish he had asked me if I needed paint with primer. I had already primed the furniture so the paint he sold me was not good for my project. The finish was not smooth because the paint was thicker. After much sanding & reapplication, the paint brush strokes are still there. I’m very disappointed.

Went here for the first time just a few days ago. The store was well organized, and I had a relatively easy time finding what I needed. The gloves I bought were great for their price and very durable. The cashier (Jon, I think) was absolutely amazing. Had a great work ethic and I made small talk easily. Would recommend this store if you need the job done

The Kingston, Mass. Store of Aubuchon is led by manager with a staff who want to be certain every customer is treated with respect and concern. They are always available for help on a project and willing to give you their knowledge to be certain your purchase will meet your needs for the work anticipated. They always ask if you found what you were looking for and will walk you to the location in the store to show you the exact item you seek. Unlike the Big Box stores where you almost can never find a person to help you and if you do find a person they are from a different department and now two people are walking through the store seeking a knowledgeable person. The best thing you can do for your self is to go to Aubuchon store nearest you and see for your self as it will be a trip worthwhile.

They have what you need, the staff is helpful and available to answer questions, and its easy to get in, out, and back to what youre doing. This sounds simple, but try to get this at one of the big stores.
