I don’t need for the counter guy to introduce himself snd then comment on liking people’s hair or sunglasses. I think we can all agree (?) just want a coffee, correctly prepared and quickly served. Go to a five star restaurant if you want intros from the counter barista

The best caramel macchiato I’ve ever gotten from a Starbucks. I asked for it to be on the sweeter side, and they certainly delivered! I love the drive thru, great service!

This Starbucks really has it together. Im not often up in Kingston, but if I am, I stop in for a beverage & snack - because theyve got it together! A good crew that works well together, with everyone doing their part to keep it moving, and in a timely manner. They even have a chalkboard with crew names in fun font. Dont know who is in leadership here, but its clear they definitely lead!

Always friendly and timely considering how busy they are! The drive through (even though it’s a wait– not their fault) is always a good experience. I’m awkward and even I enjoy interacting with the employees, they’re always super sweet.

The drive thru employee Ally refused to serve me a double smoked bacon cheddar. I’m an Experienced Starbucks worker and I know it’s policy to not turn down a customers order especially if you are busy or not. Customers come first !

The online order experiences actually less great than one would think. I arrived on time to pick up but the food was not ready and the sandwich was cold by the time I got it.

The employees were fantastic about dealing with my daughters severe dairy allergy. Then my fiancé and I decide to get just 2 Pike Place Grandes. It tasted burnt as if it had been sitting all day! We are Starbuck frequenters and were sadly disappointed as we were on our way back from Vermont to New Jersey and needed to refuel. Sadly disappointed.

My order was accurate and the wait time wasnt bad considering how busy it was. There were a few other customers who came into the store for online order pick-up and were completely ignored for a while. The primary focus seems to be on the drive-thru.

We had the best team weve ever experienced, so sweet, attentive, professional yet compassionate. The cashier was so sweet. He made sure we were pleased. We left touched by his kindness and attention. There are more adjectives to describe his service but we are concerned to sound corny.

The drive through line is always too long. Blocks traffic & blocks parking to able to park if your going inside. If you can park you might not be able to get out when you try to leave. The window person is always nice. Its just the poorest layout of drive thru & parking I have ever witnessed. Everytime I bring my daughter there I tell her this is the last time. Hate it, Hate it !!!

Fast friendly service

This location is always incredibly slow. Im talking insanely slow. Ive been here in line 20 minutes and im nowhere near the speaker. Corporate needs to consider a second drive thru location in this area.

I hate to do this as I was only passing through while taking a holiday, but it needs to be addressed to draw attention and ensure it doesnt happen again.The drinks were nice and correct, being the minimum you would expect at their cost.However, my wife and I picked up a french press as we left a gasket home for our portable espresso maker and it was unusable. Picked up one of the new Artisan blends for coffee, and asked for it to be ground to french press. We have a grinder at home, I do this every day for my coffee, (I can pick french press grounds out blindfolded), what we received was not as such, it was drip level at best. By the time we realized it we were already well and gone, and it was not worth the drive back to fix it, and basically had to toss the bag.Double check your grinds before leaving.

Still waiting been waiting for over 20 minutes now...not sure why I wait. If I could go else where for a good latte I would. Pretty bad prices going up, wait time getting longer and quality going down.

Grabbed my favorite coffee..only get it once in a while, for a treat!!

While Ive also had good experiences at this store, lately it seems they arent able to manage the volume of both drive-thru and mobile orders. I went to pick up my mobile order recently, and the staff was essentially ignoring everyone waiting to pick up their order. I eventually got their attention to give my name and was handed my two drinks and stepped back to wait for the breakfast sandwich I had also ordered. After 10 minutes of being ignored again, I mentioned to one of the baristas that Id also ordered a sandwich. He pointed to one that had been sitting in an open bag the entire time and asked if that was mine (as if I wouldve had any way of knowing that). He proceeded to say that it had been ready the whole time but that they had lost the label for it, as if that was somehow my fault. Not wanting to cause a scene, I took the sandwich (which was by that point cold and nearly inedible) and left.I totally understand that the store is busy at peak times, but at the very least, they couldve apologized and offered to give me a new sandwich that hadnt been sitting out for 20 minutes instead of acting as if it was my fault that I didnt instinctively know it was mine to begin with.

I recomended for a great view of the mountains and very courtious staff and service.

This particular Starbucks is staffed by genuinely nice and personable people/baristas. The coffee is excellent. But that was a given. It’s good to know that people here are actually nice. Whoever manages this location is a great judge of personnel.

Starbucks definition of iced coffee is to pure hot coffee in a cup full of ice! dont u know that makes the coffee super watery, coffee flavored water!

I waited in line for a half hour which is way longer than usual. Then when I got to the speaker they said they took their last car because it was five oclock and I’m not mad that I didn’t get my Starbucks. I’m mad that I wasted a half hour in line. They should have someone go out like fifteen minutes before they close and not let any more cars in line. Not to mention it shouldn’t take a half hour to get from the back of the line to the front. It used to take 10 minutes and I understand they are under staffed but they only have the drive thru to worry about. So I just don’t understand.

The employees here are super nice and dont mock you for not knowing how to pronounce a drinks name haha! Expensive but thats Starbucks for ya. They usually make really good drinks here. Always impressed with the service. Plus theres a drive through!

I went to Starbucks for a while now and this one it is a 2 hour line and inside it is clean but even when you wait inside or wait for an order I made a order and I was waiting inside four hours my legs were in pain But they did get everybody’s order right.

Stopped at this starbucks for the first time today. I went inside and the wait was long but i can understand especially with all of the covid measures put in place. Everybody was faced apart and wearing masks. My only issue is one of baristas who made my drink took out her cellphone and texted then continued to stick her hand inside my cup without gloves. Whats the point?

This Kingston branch has excellent customer service employees. I almost always go through the drive thru and i appreciate how nice everyone is. They are truly consistent about that and making sure Im satisfied. Also, the taste of their coffee is always fresh and delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Standing here right now and there are literally 10 cars lined up in the drive thru and at least 8 people inside waiting for their orders.They have just one barista making hot drinks...Having said all that, they do try their best and the coffee here is noticeably better than most other Starbucks that I’ve been to.

I placed a large (7 people) mobile order for the Kingston Starbucks on Massa Ave. It was supposed to take 10 mins. When I arrived 20 mins later, all 7 drinks were on the counter, not bagged, and the food order was only partially filled. They only had 2 of the 6 paninis I ordered. They blamed the system and the earlier shift. I waited 20 more minutes for them to make other paninis. By the time I got back, the cold drinks had melted and the hot drinks were cold. The people were pleasant but were more focused on excuses than on providing good service.

It was the longest wait ever. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and 2 coffees. Eat the whole sandwich before the coffees were ready. Took 20 minutes to get 2 coffees. That was crazy

Best Starbucks anywhere..seriously the entire team here does it for everyone day in and day out...for years. Gold standard, hands down...They might as well be a training ground for how it gets done.

The red head/ brunette girl isn’t very nice. Gave me attitude because I asked for ice late not hot. Gives me the vibe that she hates her job. Maybe that’s why there’s no tips in her jar...

My friends and I spend our Wednesday mornings here. The staff are always friendly and professional. The place is well kept and I love their food and tea (I personally dont drink coffee.) The only downside is that the music is loud sometimes. Other than that its great place. I highly recommend their egg, bacon, and gouda sandwich. Its amazing.

I travel a lot and some Starbucks are clearly better than others for a variety of reasons. At this one, they do actually clean the tables so my laptop doesnt get crud on it, ...and I like having a clean table to sit down at. Yes, Im freaky that way.The bathrooms are always spotless....nice!!and the music isnt blaring so I can actually have a phone or video conference here.And the staff is pleasant as well.

Order a coffee with soy milk, no whipped cream and a shot of espresso. They put almond milk in it and whipped cream. I sent it back and they made a new one. The cup wasnt filled all the way and the forgot the espresso. I was in the Drive-Thru holding people up, I had an appointment to go to, so at this point I just gave up and paid for something that I didnt get. This is chronic with Starbucks which is one of the reasons why I dont go here that often unless I can go inside. To anybody who goes to Starbucks make sure you check everything that they make, or take the time to go inside where you can make sure you order is correct.

I liked this Starbucks.. I mobile ordered an iced coffee the other day.. about 10 mins later I dropped it all over the place at a store up the street. I went back told them what happened and they were so nice and gave me a new one. I thought this was great customer service especially bc I never had contact with anyone since I ordered over my phone.

Early evening drive thru experience for beverages was not good. Drinks were fine. Customer service was not. The young man was curt and not very friendly.

Great coffee, however most of the baristas there need to work on customer service. Saying Hello, how are you today? by all means wouldnt kill any of them. When you buy a coffee at Starbucks your buying an experience. That experience isnt worth 6$ a cup with bad customer service.

To Starbucks Co.I have been a loyal Starbucks customer for many years and I have always enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly staff as well as the clean and sanitary setting for customers. I am writing you because I was appalled at the state of your Starbucks location in Kingston NY. There was a leak in the roof that was dripping on the chairs and down the wall of the inside of the store that was left unattended and the tables on the inside of the store were filthy and looked as though they hadnt been cleaned in some time. I am disgusted with my experience at this location and I do hope these aforementioned issues can be addressed quickly for the health and safety of the public.

Slow, slow, slow. The worst Starbucks Ive been in; and Ive been in countless throughout the country. Im here too often. Consistently too busy or distracted to keep up. They seem to favor the drive thru and the inside line is neglected.The Wi-Fi doesnt work well for my phone, anyway; always having to use my own data.
