It doesnt smell bad. I mean what do u want? Its Walmart. The self checkout kiosks are SUPER glitchy, Ive never had an uneventful experience with them, and the employees dont get paid enough to give a darn. Which is totally understandable. The employees are mostly young and dont understand that their time is worth more, which #Walmart exploits to the highest extent. Its sad and Ill be happy to see the Corp die.

A large and well stocked supercenter. I bought nice organic pears and organic avocados.

Self serve checkout is great if you are getting a discount on your food etc. Customers scan and bag there own food/ yet food prices going up.

Walmart is wear i shop for my health and beauty aids! They have amazing scrub exfoliation gels and great prices on protein and creatine! I get all my health and fitness items there! Their self checkout keeps everyone moving and the people who work there are always very helpful! Shop at Walmart and see for yourself! Im not a big consumer but when I have to spend money I dont want to spend a lot! Shop at Walmart so you can save to invest in your future!

Even WORSE than the usual Walmart experience. No Cashiers on a Sunday evening in summer with tourists flooding area. Stay on self check lines for 30 minutes just to get some badly needed water. A disgrace

Pretty neat and organized Walmart. Staff is friendly here and helpful. Its one of the larger Walmart Ive been to so they do have a good selection of everything you may need.

Clean store,great variety, food part well stocked. To get into parking and out a hassle. But like the store.

Quite possibly the worst walmart on planet earth. no one has any desire to help you ever. or any sense of urgency about anything. whether it be customer service or managers or anyone.its worth it to drive a half hour to another one to not have to go here.

I havent been in this Walmart in several years. They have definitely remodeled since I last been there. I was in the process of trying to get gallon water jugs off the shelf and associate came over named Alonso and said let me help you. He then proceeded to help me get The number of gallons of water that I needed. He was extremely helpful and saw that I was in need of help before even asked and just came up and helped me. Then when I needed more help when I was looking for an otter box in the phone accessories section Timothy was extremely helpful. He asked me what kind of phone I had and he took me right to the things I needed explained what they were because I wasnt sure what they were because I needed a new safety cover for the front of the phone also. He was fantastic. He explained that the way I could understand it and he explained which ones worked for my phone and which ones didnt and even a customer there told me what ones were better and what werent. He was extremely helpful also. Then when I was trying to reach oatmeal on a shelf Steve and Ernie had come to my assistance. They helped me get the boxes of oatmeal off of the top shelf and then proceeded to help me get prices because this was a special item. Steve went to find a price scanner for me but before they found somebody with that both Steve and Ernie use their own phones to try to find prices. Then they went and got somebody with a scanner and was able to get the actual price for me. Then when I was in the dairy section Chris went in the back to look for an item that was out of stock in the front and he thought they might have some in the back. I dont remember if Shaun was the person who helped me with Steve and Ernie or with Chris. But either way Shaun was extremely helpful also. I had an extremely pleasant experience in this store and it made me very happy. Now if you can just take the face masks off the rest of your employees that would make me happy also.

I love the mobile app to order let them know your on your way. Some of the people who come out are extremely nice and others are just ok.

It wasnt the cleanest or well stocked. But they had what I needed.

Busy as usual.Went looking for pajamas and they had plenty of options for warm and cool weather.

This branch of Walmart gets two starts despite itself. Well organized, spacious, competitively priced and wide selection of merchandise. Clean bathrooms and ample parking in the lot out front. My main complaint here is that on no fewer than TWO occasions Walmart told my wife -- once by telephone, and once by e-mail -- that she could return to this branch an item purchased online. On both occasions, when we arrived at the store, nobody knew how to ring up the return nor could scan the pre-addressed barcode. At some point somebody needs to assume responsibility for representations made to customers!

I order online and when I arrive at the store, the friendly staff place my items in my car. I dont understand why they arent allowed to accept tips. I feel they earn them.

Its just a Walmart. Nothing special about it. But it is convenient and has anything you need.

We drove an hour to pick up a dune buggy for our son...when we got there, there was no way it would fit so my husband and I took it out of the box to load it in. We were having trouble and two of the Walmart workers came out, clapped their hands together and said “let’s do this!” Sure enough, a few moments later (with some serious teamwork) we got it in. THANK YOU GUYA YOU WERE THE NICEST!!!!

I would much rather shop in Catskill, Kingston store hardly ever have stuff on shelves. Much rather go out of my way and go to Catskill store...

I saw Nagito Komeada (real) shoving cheese slices into his coat in the frozen section. When security was called, he kept dropping the cheese and doing the troll face. Thanks Komeada!

So if youre like me, when you go to the deli counter, you are looking for a wide selection of meats, cheeses, and salads. It should be well stocked, clean, and fresh. There should be enough staff behind the counter to handle all the customers that are going to be there on a Sunday afternoon. The staff should be in uniforms and abide by the health dept standards...ie.hairnets, beard nets, and gloves. This Walmart Supercenter has other ideas. A showcase only 50% full, and an inattentive staff that does not appear to be concerned about the customers. The one worker who was frying and preparing chicken wings, had a hair net resting on the top of her head, while all her long hair was still exposed. If she has no concern about her appearance in front of the customers, what does she do when the customers cant see? There were three other employees behind the counter, two of them were helping customers, while the third was just talking, then two of them left and the counter was now being operated by one young person. Not only is this a direct result from a lack of pride from the workers, but it is also due to inattentive managers. My last complaint is about the restrooms. 99% of the time they are disgusting, literally. The mens room is dirty, the floors are wet around the urinals, it smells like old urine, and your lucky to get paper towels that arent just sitting on the counter exposed to everyone. If at all possible, I will avoid the bathrooms at all costs, but sometimes, you just cant wait, so when I do go in there, I need to put my shirt collar over my nose to muffle the smell. I would recommend not using them unless absolutely necessary

Hate being stalked and followed to get my receipt checked like i stole something when leaving the store. Extremely unwelcoming. Check receipts at the self check out not the door..im not standing in line to be checked out then stand inline again to prove i paid for my merchandise.

Large store, so you can usually find what youre looking for. Great produce & Deli section too. I do my fishing tackle shopping there usually, pretty good selection.

Its walmart - so it is what it is. I was shocked there were no masks required, but the door guy told me that it is now a personal choice. um. ok.I had a delightful assistant in the ladies pj department who went ot the back to check for other sizes. I also had a guy who was up on a ladder thing come down to get me a cart when he saw me juggling my (too many to carry) items.I had a little trouble at the self check out and the clerk there came over, quickly fixed it with a smile and said: this one seems to be acting up today.Walmart - whatever your political thoughts - the staff at this place is pretty super-duper (oh, and cheap prices).

Typical Walmart, everyone working there has ear buds in and listening to music and you cant get there attention. Bathroom is dirty.

Store has good deals. The cashier Kristina should brush up on people skills and bagging. She acts as though she is doing us a favor.

You can find just about anything you need at reasonable prices, lots of clearance items at crazy low prices but the check out process is ridiculous...

Literally chased through the store by an employee who say “I saw you steal clothes” ummm he couldn’t find it, because I didn’t take anything. I was super embarrassed. He emptied my bags out in the middle of the store like chill no one wants your crusty clothes.

I do like Walmart. If you have you childrens, roddlera or infants you can find a wide selection of baby clothes and toddler clothes for girls at a fair price. They also have great sales that range from $2.00 to $5.00 on girls and boys toddler and infant clothes. You always need to look around and close because the sale items are sometimes are in their own section on a rack and sometimes just mixed with the full price clothes.They have a large selection of young boy clothes, shirts, pants, hoodies and sweaters, undergarments and pajamas.They always have their freezers packed with a variety of different foods from lean cuisines and hungry man and stuff similar to the two. They have frozen vegetables (ranging from mixed ro just broccoli and other thing like that). The price in their meat is mostly at fair price and can get quite a few things for tour money.Their deli is very good, they do have a nice selection of different meats and they always ask how tou like it cut (thin, thick, or somewhere in between). Their deli meat is a good price and is good.In electronics they have things for variety of different phones when it comes to charging or cases. Large selection of head phones ranging from $9/$12 to $99 and up because of name brand.Large selection of games for Playstation and Xbox and other gaming devices. They do sell prepaid phones. DVDS can be found in two places, sometimes three. They have a DVD selection near electronics desk area and where they sell the games. Those DVD can be found in the aisle you walk when walking around ranging in prices l, they sell DVD that have bundles more than oneocie if it is a franchise and ones with different types of movie on them. Also they have newer dvds mixed with new. There is also a separate aisle with just DVDs sometimes it is bare because people buy them right up. In that aisle they have new releases with complete serious collections and around holidays you can find over to newer holiday movies.They also sell womans and mens clothes along with Jr clothesbans under garments. Can find clothes and undergarments for plus size woman.This walmsrt is very useful they also have a small garden center and aisles of kids toys.Employees are not bad you will get a few that are snippy and dont want to help. ANY STORE IS LIKE THAT WHERE YOU GET A FEW DISRESPECTFUL EMPLOYEES BUT DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE QLL LIKE THAT. Most of the employees are very nice and helpful as well as curtious.This walmart is great for getting most anything you need. Their are things do not have and may have to go somewhere else. They do have a small garden center which is nice and has good prices and their flowers are good. I bought mini roses and hybrid tea roses,ore than one and had them for three years and they grow great and get bushy.You can get a lot of stiff their for your animals to slippers and sneakers.Overall its a Walmart I would recommend. 👌

The kitchenaid food processor I went in for was out of stock still. Bought a different brand, and when I got home, turns out it was already opened and used, but being sold as new. This place is such a dump lately

Ordered something online, did not have an option to ship to my house so had to have it shipped to store. Confirmation email stated that I would receive an email when it came in. After 3 days I check status and it shows it is in but no email received. I drive 40 mins 1 way to store, go to pick up the product arriving at the store at 8:02pm, come to find out the pick up hours are from 8am-8pm. No where in the confirmation email states that they have special hours for pick up when this store is open 24 hrs. No one in the store can help me get the product I paid for.

Went there looking for fireworks but they had none. Good thing because they had very few registers open.

Not good. Rude cashiers. No one helps pack. There is rarely someone to ask for help. Not enough employees. If they remove cashiers altogether, will be shopping somewhere else.

Its Walmart! Always packed on the 1st and 15th. Great deals on the regular staples. Spice rack needs help!!!! Condiments need help!!!! I have always had a positive impact from staff. Fast and friendly. I Even have Employees remember me. Will never be one stop shop.

This particular location could use or rearly needs a real Mgr. One that actually knows how to mg. A dep. Store of this size. If you compare the catskill location to the Hudson Greenport location you will see the difference. Hudson Greenport location may as well not even have a Mgr.

Many people may joke about walmart and the people who work or shop there. This walmart shows why the jokes are wrong. Plenty of parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Even when i used the self check out for my purchases, the attendant greeted me and let me know he was there, should i need assistance. Store was very clean and fully stocked. From pharmacy to fruit..from electronics to clothing, the areas were neat and fully stocked. Always an enjoyable visit. 4/5 will visit again when i am in that area.

The supercedes are convenient to shop in and this trip was just to stock up on necessities. I like these stores because they have a large assortment of products to choose from and l managed to get everything.

You know how retail places start feeling like home when you go to them over and over again? And how you develop a deep emotional connection with them because they provide you with things that are fun and make you feel better, and food and other stuff you need? Like a mother-child bond? Thats sort of how I feel about this particular Walmart. I think I have a more powerful one with the local Shoprite, but I guess its not a contest.

Walmart has chosen to receipt check every customer as policy, not respectful. Will no longer shop there.

The Deli is always good. Cheesecake is awesome. They have hot meals plus to go. Ive been unable to get around and have used the free delivery service often. They also have hot soups.

Drove 20 miles to get to Walmart in Kingston. Loaded up over $150 with of groceries in my cart. Proceeded to the checkout to find that they were all closed! Went to find help, was told that I had to use a self checkout. I have never used one before and had several produce items that needed to be weighed. Proceeded to the self checkout to find very long lines due one of the four being broken and two of the remaining three only took credit cards! Asked to see the manager, she was trying to fix the self checkout! She said I dont have any to put on the register, you will have to use the self checkout. So I stood in line while my frozen food thawed and struggled with the produce weighing... I will NEVER go back to the Kingston store. The Walmart in Napanoch has never had this problem, and has much better parking.

Needs more self checkout registers. There are only 4 on each side and usually one is broke. You have people standing in the main thoroughfare Very hard to pass through. Meanwhile there are 20 registers that are usually never open just taking up space. Need more paper bags never seem to have any available.

No stock on shelves, filthy restrooms, staff dont know anything, most dont speak English. Deli closed most of the time, no cashiers, you want more? Very, Very disappointing.

Went to Kingston Walmart today and used pickup for the 1st time and it was a wonderful experience.. Had a very nice gentleman check us in and had us taken care of in a timely manner. Will definitely use this method again 😊

Kingston Walmart is horrible. A lot of the workers are rude and the selection isnt that great. I would rather travel the distance and go to the Hudson Walmart. The people are friendly and the selection is great!

Never enough registers open but convenient shopping

Interested in an air fryer that showed it was in stock in this branch but only one left. Could not buy it online so I called to see if its still there and whether they could hold for me. Called several times but no one answered the phone. So I made a trip up there and couldnt find the product. Customer Service told me it is not always accurate what is shown online. In the short half hour I was there, I saw 4 people wearing masks that did not cover their noses. Will not be going there again.

I prefer self checkout. Pharmacy staff is awesome.
