These guys are fast, they know what theyre talking about, and can get almost any part you need. I come in here a lot to get oil, filters, various shop tools, and they always hook me up. Plus, they recognize first responders... 5/5 stars, they totally deserve it.

Walked up to the counter, there were 5 guys standing around talking in the back, one made eye contact with me and proceeded to talk with the other employees. I had to wait 15 minutes till someone decided to stop talking and help me. I will not be back.

There is a big sign that says masks must be worn to enter I think okay they are going to enforce the masks cool. The second I walk in every single employee has their mask down WHILE HELPING CUSTOMERS I immediately walked out

Love AutoZone, but coming to this particular location be educated on the part you need because they will definitely give you the wrong part.I went in for a rear blinker and they insisted it was a white bulb that I needed.Another time I went looking for a T20 bit and they brought me a Philips head screwdriver.

Theyll install most batteries and light bulbs. They will also check your engine light and check your alternator, starter and battery to see if theyre dead or not working properly. Friendly staff and very helpful.

I used to shop here a lot for my automobile needs. The store is organized, customer service is pretty good, but I will be shopping elsewhere for my automobile needs or just ordering online going forward. I purchase a few parts from Autozone, about $240 bucks worth, and I wasnt able to return them because they were installed in my car, the clerk saw the nut markings on the part. I only had these parts for a few days and they were not even used in my car or did I even drive my car with these new parts, they are still brand new. I am not upset with the clerk at Autozone, he is just following company policy. But if I have no use for these parts, not satisfied with the product, or found a better solution that did not require the parts purchased, I should be able to return them and get my money back. So as a head up to everyone, make sure the parts you purchase for Autozone you are going to use them. If you go and return them, the employees are forced to deny your return if they touch your car. Poor policy by the company, especially if the parts are returned within 5 days. 2 stars are given because I like the Kingston store, but a definite thumbs down to the company as a whole.

Didnt give me the right part that I needed for my jeep which was very simple, all I needed was stock lug nuts the guy at the counter gave me ones and said these are the right ones you need, come to find out they arent the right size and they arent they right stud head and as well they are for figment rims not stock. I called to see if I can have them exchange but they wouldnt allow it with no receipt even tho I bought it with my credit card Im sure its in the system to look up. Never again will I buy parts from your store.Poor sales associate with customer service and poor service over all.

I have to laugh at the guy that says he was doing brakes on his 3500 and said that the Autozone employees should have known that the seals would have to be replaced too. I happen to be an ASE Certified Parts Specialist; But not many people get lucky enough to speak to someone with that certification. Please remember that most of these employees know the bare minimum about cars. They rely solely on what information the computer provides for them. To the guy that said he put the wrong filter on his car and the engine blew up: if the filter LOOKED different before you even removed the old one, or if the threads didn’t match up smoothly, forcing the wrong filter onto your vehicle isn’t going to work. That’s YOUR fault. The manager Mike is highly knowledgeable about cars and in fact taught me a lot of what I know. I hope you get lucky enough to work with him in the future. I’m so glad that I don’t work at a Parts store anymore because in most cases, people are too stupid to work on their own vehicles. All they want to do is blame everyone else but themselves for their own shortcomings. Autozone associates are NOT Mechanics; unless they personally OWN a 3500 series van or truck, they are not going to know that replacing the seals will be necessary; whereas someone like me that has been in the industry for years, WOULD know that information just because I have constantly sold these jobs to repair shops, who often buy all of the required parts together on one ticket. If you’re not familiar with your vehicle, don’t limit yourself to X amount of hours or days to work on your project. You never know when your “special order” part will show up. Yes, FedEx OFTEN makes mistakes. Also, often times there are only 2 or 3 associates in the store, so you may not be able to get a battery installed. Or if it’s under the seat or in the trunk. Unfortunately, the company does not give enough payroll for more people to be on the clock. So if that’s what your problem is, submit a complaint to the Regional office, which is the only way to try to get them to up the payroll so they can install your FREE battery. Are you catching what I’m laying down? Your lack of planning doesn’t constitute an emergency on Autozone’s part. Just bring your car to a professional and that will elliviate EVERYONE’s headaches.

I used to love this store and now im starting to hate it!! I purchased new rotors,inner and outer bearings and calipers for a 3500 series van, you would think the sales person would have known seals were required to do this type of brake work but NO!,, i was lucky enough to find this out after taking apart the front end of my van and seeing the seal in the back of the new rotor. Now I drive to my local store (which is 25 minutes away) purchase the seals come home pack the inner bearing with grease install it and the seal only to find out they sold me the wrong F@#!ING bearings. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I called the store and yes all will be replaced free of charge but this is a marginal fix at best,, NOW the van i haul my tools with is sitting jacked up in my driveway and i have NO WAY to get to my customers home to do what i do to feed my family. Instead i have to waste more of my precious time Running back to the store getting the right parts,,, which i already paid for in the 1st place, fix the van which should have taken 1 hr per side and then i get to go to work and pray i finish what i was supposed to be doing because if not all of my jobs get pushed back a day because of YOU! at this stage in the game you should GIVE me the parts or at the very least pay for my time and fuel

I ordered the right and left lower control arms for my 2005 dodge dakota. I told the gentleman the right information. He tells me that it is a special order and will be here tomorrow at 9am. I went to another register where another gentleman took my cash and gave me a receipt(we confirmed the information). On my way home, I noticed my receipt says 2004 dodge dakota. I called and spoke to the gentleman who ordered the parts. He tells me that he ordered the right parts, and that the second gentleman wrote(by mistake) 2004 dodge dakota on the warranty section. Once again, he assured me that he ordered the lower control arms for a 2005 dodge dakota. The next day, I picked up the order and on the box of each arm there was a receipt that said 2004 dodge dakota. I opened one box and I immediately noticed that it was the wrong part my truck. I go back inside and the gentleman confirms with the computer that indeed it was the wrong part. We ordered the right parts and he tells me that it will be here the next day. ( In the mean time, my truck is at shop waiting for these parts..I have no car). The following day, I called and they informed me that the lower control arms arrived. I go to the store to pick my order, and come to find out, they only have 1 lower control arm. They gave a story that FEDEX made a mistake, and shipped the other arm to Pennsylvania. I told the gentleman that I am having a REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE AND HOW INCOMPETENT THEY ARE AT THIS...... In a business where attention to detail is critical, there guys failed miserably. I delivered the right lower control arm to my mechanic, and called AutoZone to make sure they have the left one.( Because by this time, I am not sure if these guys can count, or are able to tell the difference between right and left) .....SO I HAD TO MAKE SURE....I am praying I get the right part on time......

My daughter went to Autozone tonight because her battery in her car seemed weak. She has a one year old son and didnt want to have a dead battery while he was with her. She went into the store to buy a battery and she needed it installed. She never thought there would be a problem since Autozone advertises free installation. She was told there was no one to help her. They didnt have enough people in the store. There were no lines at all. It didnt seem to bother this employee to be alone in the store so his coworker could stand out front to smoke his cigarette!!! This apst summer my battery died in the parking lot in the afternoon. I went into the store and purchased a battery and I had asked for someone to help me since I had no tools. I was told it was lunch time and no one could help me...When can they help???? I returned the battery and had to get my 80 year old father away from his lunch at the restaurant next door to jump my car...I went to advanced auto where the helped me without a hesitation.....By the way my daughter also went to advanced auto tonight and they had no problem helping... Autozone doesnt follow through with their claims of service....
