I had the pleasure of working with Todd for a few months. His attention to detail and knowledge of the products he builds and retails is indispensable. Bottom line is dont hesitate with any purchases made from Walton fabrication. What ever you purchase Its going to fit like a factory part. ( if its a bolt in part its a bolt in part. not break out the die grinder and pry bar) not like an aftermarket. as all hot rodders know aftermarket stuff usually and can be a PIA. You might be able to find it cheaper but good luck with that. My time is valuable and rather be spending it in my hot rod not messing with it.
Always a pleasure to do business with Walton fabrication. They sell quality parts.
My car runs, drives, and rides great all due to Todd at Walton Fabrication. Couldnt be happier!!! I really should have done this yrs ago. Let me explain: I have a 51 Chevy Styleline Deluxe. Stock Kingpin suspension, etc. Todd has been in business for many years and is an experienced builder. Has built several 49-54 Chevys. Not a newbie by any means. He also makes and sells several great products for 49-54 Chevys (V8 motor mounts, trans mount, power brake booster, etc). I bought his Trans and Motor mounts yrs ago.I recently contacted him about putting a Mustang II IFS in my car. After lots of research- I purchased a QUALITY (not cheaply made junk) IFS kit that is warrantied. My Chevy now has power disk brakes, rack and pinion steering, tilt column and rides like a dream. My suspension is a work of art. I will post pics under the business.Note: Ive had many hot rods and classics over the years. Been around the block. There are a lot of guys out there who have the look (Grease in their hair, multiple tattoos, talk a good game, etc, etc). Then the reality is: 1. They dont know what they are talking about (will do a hack job) 2. Will schedule your car with 5 others. Your car just ends up sitting for months and months (the work never gets done) 3. They end up charging you a lot more in the end, etc.Todd is honest. He will not let you get ahead of yourself. Builds the car methodically, step by step. Always updating the owner with periodic updates. Once my car was on the lift, he pointed out some recommendations that I should fix on work that was previously done by another person. Not trying to get the sale. Just pointing it out.My advice is this (and I will recommend Todd to anyone): If people can spend $5-10k on a paint job or cosmetics. Before you do that- Whatever car you have. Make it an awesome driving and running car!!! Something you love to get in and turn the key. Youll find yourself driving it more and more. Then do the cosmetic stuff.I would be glad to recommend Walton fabrication to anyone. Please contact me if you have any questions. Him and his wife are great people.Upgrade- Worth every penny!!
