I took my 911 up to Woodstock for the month of August without knowing it had an expired inspection. The closest Porsche dealer and reputable indie shop are both 50+ miles away. So, I called Kingston VW on a lark and spoke with Chris F. The level of service I received from him was top notch. He greeted me as I drove up, showed me a seat, and kept me informed. He ensured that my car was handled with kid gloves and had me out of there in no time.
Nicole was beyond excellent. Highly recommend her. Very personable and quick. Was a pleasure. Dealership was beautiful and everyone else great as well.
This was initially a 5-star review. I purchased a used car from VW of Kingston and it was an easy and pleasant experience. Stefan was the consummate salesman and Kevin in finance was very helpful. I was told the car came with a 30 day warranty. I also paid for a very expensive 3-year extended warranty. The trouble started a few days after I got the car home when the check engine light went on. I had barely driven the car. Hadn’t even had to put in gas yet.I could not afford to put money into a car I had purchased only days before. As a reputable dealership, I had hoped they would have no problem finding out what was wrong and fixing it at no cost to me. I was wrong. I called Service and they were less than accommodating. They could not guarantee that I would not have to pay for repairs. I called Stefan who suddenly had no interest in returning my calls. Kevin, also, wanted nothing to do with me. The used car manager, George, told me my 30 day warranty would probably not cover the repair(s), and said I was making a “big deal” out of it. I was also alarmed to find out that the $2000+ warranty I purchased came with a $250 deductible. It was basically 3rd party repair insurance where you have to hope theyll actually cover whatever goes wrong (like most insurance policies, they often wont). To be fair, that was my bad for not asking more questions at the time of purchase. I guess I foolishly assumed they would have made that clear.To make an already long story short. after several phone calls, and a whole lot of aggravation, Marquis, the Service Manager finally agreed to cover the $250 deductible, They gave me an appointment that was a few weeks away. Luckily, just prior to my appointment, my check engine light went out on its own and I didn’t have to go back there. I surely was not looking forward to it.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND WORKING WITH NICOLE! My wife & I bought a Jetta from her last year and liked her so much we came back to buy a 2022 Tiguan R-Line last week. Nicole is knowledgable, professional and kind. It was a comfortable seamless process. Wont buy a car from anyone else.
Stefan was a gentleman and worked very well with me. Overall a group of nice people. I’d highly recommend Stefan if you want to make a purchase here. The only reason for not being a 5 star there was a lack in communication in management. Nothing to do at all with Stefan. He even answered my emails and set me up outside of his work schedule. He is proficient in getting everything worked out. The financial staff tried there best in the reduced amount of time given because of the management. Overall I was happy and they did accommodate me for being there over 4 hours waiting to sign the paperwork that was suppose to be ready. Thanks

As a local automotive repair shop owner and someone who has worked in the automotive business for over seventeen years, I was far from excited to go shopping for cars to fit our growing family. As I walked into the show room after looking at some Subaru’s down the road, I was greeted by Stefan, who I immediately judged as a typical car salesman. I can now say that I was way off! After showing us around a few options, we landed on a 2021 Atlas. Stefan kept us fully informed throughout the whole process and everything went off without a hitch. Not only did we get a great deal on the Atlas, but at some point I had joked that I wanted a free hat and T-shirt in the deal a week prior. When we were getting ready to leave, Stephan informed me that I need to follow him to the T-shirt and hats to pick out my stuff including another shirt for my wife after I had completely forgot about it! Who the hell does that! Stefan does that! I am sure the entire sales staff is great and will take good care of you, but if you are looking for the classic new car experience with all the bells and whistles, and actually have it go the way it’s supposed to go, then talk to Stefan.
Easiest car buying experience I have ever had. Anthony sold me my car are was really nice and professional. Not pushy at all which I like. The finance guy was new (I can’t remember his name) but he was also great and super helpful. My only complaintWould be that I didn’t get a return call from Kevin in finance when I called about my credit application. Otherwise all was great. Would recommend car shopping here. They have a decent amount of used vehicles (I bought a Jeep) so even if you aren’t looking for a VW it’s probably worth seeing what they have.

I have nothing but great things to say about the group I worked with at Kingston VW. Stefan and Anthony answered every question I had, in person and via email. Their financial manager Kevin came in right where he said he would and George helped me turn in my old car without a hitch. There were no hidden fees, no last minute changes- the entire process was so simple. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new car.

I would be careful if you are considering buying a used vehicle from this dealership. I bought a used Mercedes Benz GLK 350. Car was in seemingly good condition buy it was apparent it was missing a few things such as rear headrests, vent covers and vent clips. My salesperson Tammy was very nice, and a pleasure to work with. When i tried to negotiate price and brought up the missing parts, she went and got the sales manager who was extremely rude. They only came down $300 on the sticker, which barely covered the headrests that i would end up purchasing myself. When i went to look at the car a second time, it wouldnt start. Should have been a red flag. They said a light had been left on and it killed the battery, believable. I still bought the car. After signing i went out to the lot to get the vehicle and it was waiting there running, which I thought was odd. I get the car home and immediately realize that the rear driver side window switch had been popped out of its housing, and the window would not go up or down. I know it wasnt like that before because I looked at the car top to bottom four times. Test drove it twice, once with a salesperson sitting in that seat. I contacted them and they agreed to fix it under the limited one month warranty. I was also feeling a clunking on the front driver side while making turns I asked them to check this out as well. I got to the service center and the service manager told me it should take about an hour. After two hours he comes out and tells me they cant get the car to start and it seemed like a major electrical issue. They gave me a loaner vehicle and I left. I wouldnt get my car back for over 2 weeks. They eventually had to tow it to Mercedes Benz of Whappingers to install a new module and reprogram it. Everytime I called to check the status i got the run around. I eventually decided to call Mercedes Benz and ask them if they could shed any light on the situation. I spoke to a very nice tech who worked on my car, he told me the car had been there for a week, fixed and they were waiting on VW to come pick it up. He also told me the cause of the issue was a pinched wire in the door panel that occured when VW tried to fix the window switch, it shorted the whole system. A very different story than the one i was hearing from VW. My main issue is that i know they knew about the window switch because someone popped it out to try and fix it, probably realized they had to remove the whole door panel and instead fixing it, just sold it to me with the broken switch. When i went to pick up my car after 2 weeks i asked if they had looked at the clunking i was feeling. I was told by the same rude sales manager that they didnt because that issue would not be covered under warranty. How would they know this if they didnt even investigate what the issue was? At this point I was so tired of dealing with them and their bs that i just took my keys and left. The problem with clunking only got worse and now the same area is squeaking like crazy. Im about to take it to my own mechanic and pay out of pocket when at the very least VW should have diagnosed what the problem was. I cant help but think they held onto my car after it was fixed for so long in order to run out the 1 month limited warranty. I would have given this dealership 1 star if it wasnt for Tammy my salesperson, and the gentleman in financing who both truly were a pleasure to work with. Steer clear of this place, especially if you are buying used.
Cannot recommend Tammy enough!! I have very little credit history, and despite having a full time job, I am unable to get approved for a lease by myself. Adding another layer to my situation, my close friend willing to co-sign for me lives in California. All other dealerships in the area were immediately hostile and unhelpful when I told them this, however Tammy went out of her way to find out what steps were necessary for the lease to be possible, and guided me each step of the way. It was a great experience and I LOVE my Tiguan :)

Experience started with a call to ask if a car was available; the person who answered and made an appointment was efficient, but not very friendly.When we arrived, our salesperson was pleasant and knowledgeable enough. The problems began when we mentioned what appeared to be a problem with a door hinge; the salesperson said theyd look at it but wouldnt commit to fixing the issue; instead stating that he was fine if we didnt want to buy the car because of it. That was odd and more than a little off-putting. He was really saying he didnt care if we bought the car.Then when we started talking about the deal itself; the salesperson and later the finance person were persistently cryptic about details, process, and timelines, even when asked directly. The approach to offering an extended warranty was particularly slippery; there was never a mention of overall cost or even the fact that it was optional. they took a very assumptive stance while positioning it in a way that made it appear to be part of the deal, as opposed to going through details about options, prices, lengths etc. And again, the salesperson indicated if we didnt want to purchase the car because of the APR - as he put it for a difference of $22/mo - he didnt care either way.We left the dealership having made a deposit, but with misgivings. We called the next morning to cancel the deal, explaining our concerns so there was no mystery to why we werent proceeding. When asking the finance person about returning our deposit check, he replied that he didnt know how that worked (!) and that the salesperson would call us back. That call never came. We then went to the dealership to collect the check. The salesperson seemed surprised to see us, and once again responded cryptically. Its in the safe Well, I cant get it. Nobody can until Monday. All delivered in a very dismissive, callous tone of voice. Very unprofessional.End result? I would never be comfortable working with people from that dealership, and it really bothers me to think about the experience younger, less experienced customers would have.

But on an unexpected Sunday drive, quite by accident, I ended up at VW of Kingston and saw this unique Final Edition on the lot. Also unexpectedly, the dealership was open. PLASTIC OIL PAN, DO NOT BUY VW!Absolute scam artists, cane in because my brand new 2000miles golf was leaking oil, they said it was from impact on oil pan, I asked to see oil pan after they replaced, there are 0 marks on pan, which this cheap scam artist company MADE OUT OF PLASTIC! See pictures, no impact whatsoever. Total liars and no help from VW of America
The most irresponsible dealership I gave it a one star because I could not give them a zero. They got all my info told me they would call me later on 3 days later no call yet and I called the the next afternoon and asked for a call back a not even courteous enough to tell me if I was approved or not, I could have gotten a car somewhere else. I guess I know my answer now!

Great Selection of cars. Print out a NADA valuation when trading your car in and try to get the clean trade or in between average and clean. VW Corporate has a great limited warranty that comes with the car. You can always buy the extended warranty right before the limited warranty is about to end. Also, never finance an extended warranty because you will be paying interest on it which is absurd. Do NOT put the extended warranty into the car loan. If you decide to buy an extended warranty make sure the finance guy doesnt slip anything extra into the contract. Before you decide to sign, bring the contract home (yellow piece of paper) and have a loved one take a look. A lawyer, CPA or someone who is good at math, and understands how this stuff works is best. Never go alone. Make sure someone who understands buying cars and is highly educated comes with you. Due to some unfortunate events that lead to the catastrophic failure of my Tiguans’ ECU due to some one trying to jump the vehicle, inadvertently crossing the polarities my review begins here.The car was at two different shows prior to making it to VW of Kingston, the second shop, Lil Dusty Eurowerks, advised me of what the problem was and that it had to be addressed at the dealer.I contacted service who was vey helpful and advised them the car was being towed in.The following morning they had began their diagnosis and concurred what had happened and what it affected. They told me some of the solutions but because of the severity of electrical damage done advised that replacing the ECU will only be the start point.Question was “did I want to spend a few thousand on a 150k mile 10 year old ride?”Service had the car for a complete day and only charged me for two hours. Honesty helps when making decisions and they didn’t lead me down a path of a money pit solution and for that I am extremely thankful!I told them to hold off on any work and I will be up to the shop in about 40 minutes.I decided to purchase a new ride instead of investing the money in to the 10 year old Tiguan.I had purchased two other vehicles here prior and both experiences were exceptional and this is my third in 5 years for VW of Kingston.This is when service introduced me to Stefan Chichkov. Service explained what happened to me and we hit it off immediately.I told him what I was looking for and what I found in their lot.I ended up test driving an VW Atlas which we fell in love with and I’m already very happy with it!But this is where the best part began when it comes to Stefan. The conversation drifted away from the car and became more personal. We talked about my life as a VW/Audi guy and I mentioned one of my other vehicles.He immediately said to me, “wait, that brown and white beetle is yours? The ones with the white bikes?! The lower one?”This guy I just met recognized me through my Volkswagen! That’s a great feeling when you get such high compliments from someone you never seen or met before. He could of been lying or pulling a sales tactic which I highly doubt it. It was a great feeling.Conversation continued with talk about my love of the VR6 growl and we spoke about the “wookie” and some of the great shows we attend regularly, Like 40s in a bag, Wolfsgart and Eurobuilt. He was truly in tune with us and us to him. He made us feel like we were part of a bigger Picture. He made the sale easy. We said “let’s do it before we even got back”That’s the impact Stefan had, that I pulled the trigger and signed paper work all in less than 30 minute time.We left for the evening and talked about a Monday pickup. Stefan on Monday had a family emergency and he still continued to work the sale though the family emergency. He literally went above and beyond to make sure there were no issues while he couldn’t be there.We picked up the Atlas on Tuesday and while still dealing with the family emergency he was vital in coordinating the finalization of delivery... from home.I can’t go end the with just Stefan though. He had Anthony help with the remainder it the paper work. Anthony and I have dealt with each other on the previous two vehicles and he still to this date is very professional and helpful to what ever your needs are.Financing manager Kevin Smith, who by the way in brand new at VW of Kingston but also went about and beyond a normal “deal” of sale for some guy he just met. Between the three they made this sale Easy and quick along with a great deal.People talk about being a “team” often. If you need guidance on how to be a team, stop by here and speak to them. They worked seamlessly and with the customer mind set or doing what’s right with out any hesitation or problems. They still to this date make you feel like a bigger picture. It’s all part of the VW experience... even when I get a CEL! 😉🤣Another great experience here and I highly recommend them to everyone.Stefan, you are going great!
I live less than 1 mile from a local dealer. I got very frustrated with them as I had a 5 month old vehicle I was trading in. Understandably I was going to lose some money for depreciation on a trade for a Tiguan. I hit the internet and Anthony Pappalardi contacted me very promptly. I would drive 130 miles roundtrip anytime to be treated with the utmost professionalism, kindness and he knows his stuff. I will refer them to anyone looking for a Volkswagen. I initially had a pleasant experience. The dealership had more of that small dealership-feel, and I felt like I was having a more personable experience. I had met with the saleswoman and we had agreed to terms. I placed a down payment, but my wife had to be at work so we left and the plan was to continue the transaction in 2 days. I had signed the preliminary terms with the anticipation that first months payment was included in the down payment (which was verbalized by the saleswoman). However, there were no specific details that stated the first month would or would not be included on that paper. When I went to pick up the car, the finance guy - Joe - presented the balance, which was $438 more than what I initially expected to pay. When I questioned why the first month payment was being added on to my original down payment, he said the down payment never includes first month payment. I simply told him it was not presented that way and all he said was Oh.. sorry? I expressed my concern and frustration to this via phone to multiple members from the sales team. They listened to my frustration but basically said there is nothing they could do to rectify this. I feel they were not transparent in the deal, and Joe was less than empathetic when I had concerns for the price discrepancy. I will not be referring others there as I felt deceived.
Joe Pappalardi is the most trustworthy honest man I have ever met. I purchased too many extended warranties, $9,000 plus of extended warranties, and kindly asked him to cancel them despite them being part of my $550 integrated monthly payment. Thank God for honest people like Joe P who make the world a better place. It must be nice to be a guy like Joe. I would be honored to wake up every morning and look at myself in the mirror knowing how I continue to make the world a better place through honesty and integrity!

My fiancé went into this dealership ready to buy a 2014 Passat, took over a MONTH for it to be ready. (The sales lady, Nicole was very informative. She kept updating us about the car process, mentioned that they could negotiate the price since it took a whole month for it to be ready.) The day we went to “buy” the car, it still wasn’t ready. The Manager George Moylan was disrespectful from the beginning of the process. He wouldn’t negotiate the price of the car after waiting a whole month, he was more concerned about selling the car than actual customer service. The car was dirty, many issues that had to be repaired within that month. After we confronted the issue, he brings out paper saying “he’s the best in town” and saying we won’t get a better deal anywhere else. He also mention that as soon we leave the dealership he was going to raise the price of the car if we didn’t buy it that day. Unprofessional and disrespectful manger. I would advice you to buy a car from a different dealership. Don’t waste your Time/Money at the Volkswagen Kingston NY.

I went here on Saturday to get an oil change and ended up getting an new car and that’s because of Tammy Phillips and the whole office for helping me out! I highly recommend going here to get a new car they will work with you and they are the best!
Took my 2017 Passat here For the cruise control not working was told it was out of calibration by the service manager and it would cost 440 dollars but that may not work and they will have to replace the computer that controls it all and that will be an additional 1700 plus another 440 to recalibrate it.. not happy that they cannot tell me if the part is bad or not until after I spend 440 dollars plus the Diagnostic fee.. one would think that the diagnostic fee would be to tell me what’s wrong before saying the part may need to be replaced but we are unsure until after u spend another 440 with us.. will not take my car there again and will not purchase a car from them seeing I planned on it .. You wont find me in the system but yall know who I am. There are many fake reviews on this website. Good & Bad. Dont listen to the reviews except this one. Go buy a car for yourself from them and tell everyone your experience. Thats what I did.
I recently bought a VW jetta from Volkswagen of Kingston. The process was so easy. I told them exactly what my budget was and what I was looking for and they made it happen. If you’re looking for a VW go here and ask for AC. I rarely write reviews but this place and Ac were amazing. I had my car with in 4 days of contacting them. Best car buying experience in my life. These people are the definition of what a car buying experience should be. After you buy a car from them they return your calls and try to work out whatever problem you are having. Finance goes above and beyond to do the right thing and you never have to worry about getting the DMV involved.

Last night I committed to purchasing an e-Golf through their Roadster car buying platform. Sure enough the next day they pointed out that the price was not correct but they can eat some of the difference and happily offered a bit higher price than I committed to the night before. Interestingly the Roadster platform still has a lower price than what they offered me now. It is my opinion that they run a bait and switch technique to lure customers into purchasing vehicles. By having invested time and effort they hope to have you pushed over the edge to just role with the higher price. Obviously I do not have to buy the car with the now higher price but I wasted my time.
I worked directly with Ayla who was really helpful and honest. It’s weird to buy a car during this pandemic but all my questions were answered right away and they made the process smooth and easy. I had to drive 3 hours but it was worth it for the car I wanted. Only complaint is that they tried to request something with my insurance that I didn’t have- but it ended up working out anyway. Very happy with my new VW GTI!!
My experience working with Tammy was the best! She came highly recommended and I would recommend her as well. She was thorough and very personable with no pressure to make a decision. The price I was given was very competitive and Tammy made closing the transaction very easy. She even followed up a few days later to make sure everything was OK. Simply said, SHES A REAL PRO!

Having just begun my second lease through Volkswagen of Kingston, I can say that I feel like Im in good hands. The drive-in service is amazing and all of the staff members are either knowledgeable or know just who to send you to. THE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER. I found a 2015 VW Golf TDi and put $2,000 down on it. they told me what my payments would be then ran my information. They ran my credit and told me a need a cosigner which i was fine with. They ran my cosigner and said out of state cosigners are a no go. only to tell me i needed another $4,000 to get approved with a $330(21% interest) a month payment on a $15,000 car. you do the math that makes it a $30,000 car really fast. During all of this the salesman told me he was trying to sell the car today meanwhile i already had a down payment on the vehicle and were just trying to figure out the paperwork side of it. I work at a dealership and this is no way to treat new or existing customers. Glad to see Heart VW really values their customers......... Hope this helps you all to steer clear of this Stealership(Update after they reached out to me, see picture attached) sent a text to the dealer at 9am still waiting for a response....... like i said STAY AWAY!!!!!
I had a very bad experience with Volkswagen of Kingston. The terms of my financing were drastically misrepresented during the interview with the finance manager, Joe P*********. I was sold maintenance packages and told they would be honored in any VW location, and they were not. I was told I could cancel any of the maintenance plans I did not find useful, and when I tried to cancel one plan in particular with Warranty Solutions the dealership was completely unresponsive, refusing to return phone calls, emails, etc. I had to get Volkswagen Group of America involved; they opened a conflict file on my behalf and intervened, asking the dealership to comply. When it seemed that they were complying, we closed the case--but the dealership stopped the process and would not follow through with the cancelation by not submitting the paperwork. I finally solved the problem myself by having Warranty Solutions make the cancelation directly with the dealership. This was all frustrating enough but when I paid off the car this year, I received a letter from VW saying I might be due a partial refund for additional products financed and to call the dealership to confirm one way or the other. Once again, I contacted, VW of Kingston and once again received no response to my phone calls, emails--nothing. And once again I went to VW Group of America, filed a complaint, they intervened, and received the same evasive treatment. My representative at VWGA told me at one point that they told her I was due a refund and the finance manager, Joe P********, would send me a form. He sent me the form for the maintenance plan mentioned above (previously canceled) and asked me to fill it out. I told him wed already canceled that and asked was I due a refund for this plan or any other, and his single and last response was : good memory. He wouldnt respond to any inquiries after that and VWGA did not call me back to follow up and close the case, as promised. I finally gave up, concluding that I was probably due a refund (or if not, was never going to get a straight answer), but had no energy left to tangle with these organizations. I therefore am lodging this complaint so that it might be addressed by someone and help prevent others from being manipulated by such dishonest business practices* ***** *****
Stopped by and was impressed with the customer service and car selection. Looking forward to buying a VW I test drove last week and looking forward to not having to drive far for service. It is great that we have such an amazing VW dealership right here in the Mid Hudson Valley.
With all of the uncertainty and changes to ‘the norm’ that the world is experiencing right now I didn’t quite know what to expect when I found myself in the position to buy my very first, brand new car.I start online and inquire about the Tiguan. (Size wise this vehicle seemed like a good fit) I had zero information but certain expectations of what I wanted in a new car. Shortly after inquiring about pricing on the Tiguan I hear from Laura McNamara. Laura asked me in an email, very simply ‘what are you looking for?’ and assured me in the follow-up email that a Tiguan came into the dealership the day before and she was sure I was going to love it. Well, she was not lying!!! She nailed it!! It exceeded what I was expecting. She listened to me and what my needs were, and delivered. She set up time for me to come see it, test drive and ultimately fall in love with the vehicle.I meet with my new lifelong salesperson Nicole Palladino for the very first time just prior to my test drive. Nicole walked me out to the vehicle and stayed with me, explained the car and every gadget and button function. Before I pull off in the Tiguan (now MY Tiguan) Nicole asks ‘Do you have any questions?’ and my honest answer was ‘no.’ She was so thorough, and literally walked me through everything I needed to know, I felt good pulling off for the first time.When I returned from my test drive, Nicole came out to meet me car side and even behind the Covid, social distancing mask on I could tell she had a huge smile in her face. She could tell I loved the car. We walked inside and sat for a while chatting. This young lady has the bubbliest, most relatable personality. I felt completely at ease. So simple and hassle free she made this whole experience for me. I did commit to buying that day although I did not leave with it. Nicole offered up her direct phone number and lol I definitely used it in the days to follow. She’s won me over. I will definitely be seeing Nicole again for future purchases.I want to thank VW of Kingston as a whole. When I walked through the door, everyone greeted me, and those who couldn’t because they were on their phones with customers.. gave a wave. I felt so welcome.Laura, Nicole.. you two are my rock stars and I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!
Honestly, I had a bit of an axe to grind with the place for a while because of some bad experiences with my recent purchase.....however, they did reach out and try to fix it....theres alot of really good people here....I just wish the experience was better before it got to this point.
I just purchased a Volkswagen Tiguan and I cannot day enough about the saleswoman and the staff who assisted.Nicole Palladino is the woman you want when you are buying a vehicle, I am serious. She is knowledgeable, professional, not pushy, patient, kind and just plain wonderful. I spent a ton of time going back and forth between dealers and types of vehicles and I started at VW of Kingston with Nicole and full circle came back at the end- buying a vehicle is a big decision for many and not feeling rushed is super important and Nicole made me feel super comfortable and she didn’t once make me feel like I was annoying or wasting her time it was incredible. Please do yourself a favor and if you are thinking about buying a VW ask for Nicole Palladino and you will have a truly wonderful vehicle buying experience I promise :)
I get my vw serviced here. They are very competitive even though they are a dealer. Very prompt and efficient service. They do not over charge. You get high quality parts and labor
Very bad customer service in the finance department. New lady that works in there is completely rude. Joe doesnt return phone calls. They only care about new car sales.Story: Purchased a lease three years ago with my sister from Volkswagen of Kingston . She is over the miles and wanted to buy out the car at the end of the lease and look at options for the future. We went to a local bank to get a loan and they suggested we try and refinance through Volkswagen because we might be able to get better finance options. When we called Volkswagen Corporate they said we needed to go through our local dealership finance department. So we made an appointment with the guy Joe who works at Volkswagon of Kingston. We get there and he wasnt there and a lady sees us. We told her that we drove an hour and the lease is almost up and we need to sort out what our options are for buying it out. I was speaking for my sister as a cosigner on the lease and she bent around her computer screen and said are you her mother? meanwhile I look young when I walk around with my 13 year old son I nonstop get asked how its possible he is my son. Her comment was intended as why are you talking. Meanwhile I am a cosigner on the vehicle. Anyway she said that she had to do a new car buy and needed her office for those people and we needed to come in at a different time. I was so angry by how she treated me I stormed out of the office and was agitated by the conversation. We have since been trying to get an appointment and have called many times and left voice messages on Joes voicemail without one return phone call. We will not do financing through them, we will not be bringing the vehicle back for service and we most definitely will never buy a car from them ever again.

Nicole my sales rep introduced me to my favorite car, the Atlas! She was very warm, considerate, and explained everything about the features and the car to me. She made my buying experience truly exceptional.
I made the mistake of listening to the scam artist of a salesperson that was helping me when I went to the dealership in person. He advised that he strongly recommended I put a $200 down payment on the vehicle that I was interested in leasing. He had a smug attitude and a know-it-all personality. I walked out of the dealership feeling violated and went to a couple of other dealerships in the area to do some comparison shopping. I eventually found a great deal on a new SUV at All American Ford down the road. I was happier with the way the Ford salesperson treated me and I ended buying a new Ford SUV.When I called Volkswagen of Kingston 2 weeks later, I was given the run-around by the sales person and the sales manager. They were always away from their desk and they provided me with a couple of bogus extension numbers when they left me voicemail messages. I attempted other means of contacting the dealership in order for them to process my refund. I used their online chat option, Michael S. helped me and he was totally useless. I gave Michael S. my phone number and email address, he told me that someone would contact me shortly after our chat session ended...no one ever reached out to me via phone or email. I sent a couple of emails and I called the dealership a few more times. Altogether, it took me a month for them to process my refund. Most of it was due to them playing phone tag with me. Im never doing business with these crooks ever again.

I pay extra every month for the best extended warranty they had to offer. My car started making crazy noises everytime I start the car.First they want me to Pay $118 just to look at it then they tell me they cant replicate the issue I was concerned about yet you can hear the issue every time it starts. Little do they know I had the vehicle looked at by 3 different mechanics and all pointed to the timing chain. Apparently this is completely normal for the car to sound like this and absolutely nothing is wrong with the vehicle. We shall see what happens tomorrow at the dealership
First, I will never be going back here again. Second, I went there about a week or two ago to get an inspection on my car and the first thing the man working says to me is Well you look like a young woman that makes good money. You can afford to repair some new parts. I told him that there shouldnt be anything wrong with my car and that it only needed an inspection since the car is only 3 years old. He then says Well, lets hope you pass the inspection first. Once my lease is up on my car, I will never go back there. He was incredibly rude and Im not the only one thats had this issue with this dealership either. I dont find it amusing that he expected to be taking my money right when I pulled into the garage. A good morning or how are you today would have been nice instead.
Im writing this review because some of the poor reviews on this site made me cautious about visiting for a new car purchase. However, I experienced none of the negatives described, and have only positive things to say. Tammy was excellent. She worked diligently with me to find the right car, took me on several test drives, gave me a fair price and finalizing the purchase was simple. I chose to lease, and all fees were included in the down-payment/monthly payments calculated so the pickup was easy. Im very happy with the vehicle, and very happy with the service I received.
This is our 2nd car from here within a year. Rico has done amazing on selling us our cars. He didnt pressure us into anything we didnt want to do. He got us the best deal. When our lease is up we will DEFINITELY be back. The staff is very nice. The cute redhead receptionist was so nice to our son ( who was very patient when we were there for awhile). I definitely recommend

Negotiated on phone, good price on a new car, had all paperwork ready for us to sign when we came in. Great experience, Tammy was very thorough and accommodating to us, made it easy and stress free.None of that ridiculous dealer add on stuff like window etching and underbody protection etc.. It was a breath of fresh air not having to stress over arguing it!

Knowing they will not be making any more Beetles, I was browsing Kingston VW’s cars and saw the car I have wanted for so long. We drove to Kingston and talked to Ayla. She was so sweet and helpful. She loves her job and it shows. We had a very smooth transaction from start to finish. I drove away with my dream car... a habanero orange convertible VW bug.
