I really wanted to give these guys a better rating. I had some bands done on my arm in April 2021, was suppose to come back for filler work in May, The artist dug to deep so my filler work was canceled.,wasnt healing in a timely manner. I called over and over to try to reschedule my filler appointment. The receptionist took my name and number, was suppose to inform the owner that I called,. This was in July, I still havent heard back. But thankfully, sometime in July, someone at Little Chicago in Johnson City took care of the touch up and filler work. Although I had to pay for some work that shouldve been free, Im very glad I went to Little Chicago. I believe the artist that finished my bands, had better skills than anyone at Skinsations!!! I did everything I could, left messages, came by the shop for advice, and thats when the owner said I needed more time for healing before filler work. Even let the artist do more work, besides the bands, so I know they knew my money was good, but I dont understand why I was ghosted.

Great shop, clean and friendly. My artist, Logan, is great and will work with you while giving ideas to make your tattoo even better. Clean lines and good black/grey and color work. The other artists’ work always look amazing as well. Highly recommended.

Well, when I went in I said I wanted a septum peircing and I sure got it. The lady that does piercings was very unprofessional she told me she was a apprentice and had been doing them for 6 months and that I could trust her. When we went back she told me what she was going to do and she had the needle in she told me she jacked this one woman earlier that day and she couldn’t get the piercing through and she did this process at least three time by this time is was really light headed and almost passed out it took 35 min I should have said stop! So they wanted me to pay which I did but I left and went to the restroom to see and it was crooked my piercing was CROOKED!!! So now I either wait and get a different piercing or let it heal and would have paid for nothing! She let me walk out and knew it was messed up!

Most importantly CLEAN and follow any and all safety precautions for COVID-19, as well as other blood borne pathogens.When you call Skinsations Tattoo they are very knowledgeable about the business. When you arrive, you get the same professionalism greeting you at the door. The two ladies up front are very pleasant, respectful and a wealth of knowledge- as one is doing her apprenticeship!I personally received a piercing (nose) the piercer is very confident in his work and makes you comfortable all the while. I do recommend Skinsations Tattoo to anyone that wants a piercing or tattoo and the 20+ people in the shop yesterday while I was there can attest to that as well!THANKS MUCH, A CLIENT FOR LIFE!

They are also very helpful in helping pick out or customize a design to fit your taste perfectly. The staff at Skinsations were amazing to me. Everyone that I spoke with were very sweet to me. Mike was my personal MVP. From the moment I went in the shop, he took care of me. Everything that was in my head, it was as if he mind melded with me and made it happen. I couldnt be more happy. Not only that, I was a walk in, and he, even though he had an appointment coming up, squeezed me in to make it happen for me. It meant the world to me because I have been trying to get this done for a while. He was talkative, and friendly, they all were. I will definitely be returning and I hope to bring them more business. Went in for a tattoo with MJ. I was very pleased. All the staff was very professional and friendly. MJ went above and beyond to make me comfortable. And, I loved my finished tattoo!!

Everything was great! My artist was Cory and he made sure the tattoo was the size that I wanted, once he placed the stencil he asked me to look at it several times to be sure it was exactly where I wanted, and free handed my letters and numbers but with a marker first to again make sure I liked it. The tattoo turned out beautiful and exceeded my expectations. I will definitely go back!

Ive only got piercings done here, but hes very very good. He knows what hes talking about and very professional. Hes also the only one certified to do free handed piercings in our city. All the staff makes you feel comfortable and welcome too.I definitely recommend skinsations to everyone!!!

Went to do Birthday girls nose for her 16th birthday and sissy did cartilage and mom, I did Monroe. They did an amazing professional job walking in it is the biggest most Beautifullest tattoo parlor and it definitely surprise me. The girls had fun I had fun and will most definitely come back. Getting titanium jewelry they guarantee lifetime and actually want you to come back to get a check up to make sure the piercings are healing the way they need to be and that’s awesome I won hundred percent recommend this place not only for tattoos from people I know but definitely piercings!!!!

Bald man was very rude and cursed the entire time. Called in ten minutes before arriving and said they accepted walk ins and when we arrived we were told that we weren’t being able to have our ideas done because they were not exactly the picture. Then he started cursing at everyone and was being extremely rude as we were told to wait another two weeks to schedule an appointment. Would definitely not recommend going to this tattoo shop. Very poor service and very poor attitude.

I got a memorial tattoo for my son I lost almost 12 years ago. My tattoo artist was MJ. She was very professional, courteous, patient and informative. She was also very gentle while doing the tattoo. This chic has one of the steadist hands ever. Her line work on the lettering (cursive words) and the objects included in my tattoo where also done with amazing percision. I am EXTREMELY SATISFIED with my artist, MJ, as wellas with my tattoo. It is beautiful and exactly was I was hoping for and more. Went in a couple days ago to get my septum pierced and it seemed like a nice place. Nice staff. However once I got home I realized that they pierced my septum so bad that one side was almost through the front skin of my nose :/ had to take the piercing out. They didn’t even mark my nose or make sure it was even before piercing it. They just stuck the needle through my nose and then called it a day.

Y’all me and my mom went to Skinsations and Mike hooked us up!! He does amazing work and all of the staff is so super sweet. PLEASE check them out!! 💕

Today i got my very 1st tattoo... Virgin skin as the guy told me 😂 He was super chill and friendly and we talked the whole way through, I was a little nervous with it being my first, but It felt amazing. Seriously took no time at all, maybe 5 minutes... Its small and simplistic but im so proud of it and it looks AMAZING. I highly reccomend going to them!! :)

Got my best friend a tatoo and my breast pierced.

It was my daughters birthday, and I wanted to get her ears pierced the proper way. They explain the process to, they were extremely kind and amazing. She said theyre so excited and before she realizes she had her second ear piercings and was posting them on insta and tick tock. She has continued the following care that they explained. I would continue to go back and it makes me just want to think of what else did vest in for myself. Its a wonderful place in wonderful ❤️.

Ive been there a few times with my boyfriend while he gets his tats done and every one was nice, place is clean. I just got my fifth tattoo, first with them(Terry) and had an awesome experience. Would definitely recommend.

I went here around a week and a half ago and I got snakebites done when I got home I realized they were very uneven and I thought that’d change when they heal in a week do to swelling. after a week went by they got worse and I asked a few friends and indeed they were uneven, and the jewelry was WAY to small for swelling to actually go down I got jewelry that was longer yesterday and swelling went way down and it don’t hurt half as much. I’m very disappointed as this was my first piercings I’ve ever gotten

Ive had my tattoos once 2006 Sean did it and he did a great job. It still has amazing color and still looks great on my shoulder. They have an amazing staff who know what they are doing. They can do any type of tattoo, piercing, and body art you could ever what, very clean, sterile, and hygenic, and knowledgeable about their work with staff that works with you to help you pick out something that will look good on you and works with style. I got a circa survive symbol from Matt and he did a great job! Ill add a picture when it heals. But he was really nice, professional and it was over in minutes! Lol which is good because Im not *great* with pain. Lolol but it was as painless as possible and I love it! Definitely recommend, and I will be back

Had original tatoos done by owner almost 20 yrs. ago so had color redone. My experience was fine. Artist recolored old tattoo and it looks better wished Id had whole thing redone, however, it was clean and sanitary. My artist (Terry)was very kind to me and didnt mind my squirming a bit. lol As you can see Im much older person in 70s so would look much better on young person ;but I dont care what anyone else thinks, as you can tell. I may go back and have little more yellow in butterfly thanks JENNIFER

DO NOT GO HERE, when I got my rook piercing, they didnt let me pick my jewelry and didnt clean it, and Ive had a hard time with my piercing.

I went there and got my nose done and it was great besides the fact it was a gaged nose ring and it wouldnt heal. I go back a few days ago and dude was just impatient because he had so many people. He pierced too much skin, and it was crooked.
