The staff is nice and helpful, prices are good, and there are a wide selection of pools and hot tubs; Id say this is a great place for all of your aquatic needs! However, the last time I had gone (last Tuesday), I had a rather questionable experience. As I had been browsing the hot tubs, I found a lobster floating in one! Im not sure how often the staff regulates the hot tubs (I didnt even know they could turn them on while customers are shopping), but man did that fried lobster look delectable! When I reported the seafood to one of the workers (I think her name was Sharon? Shannon?), she proceeded to walk over to the hot tub, take out the lobster, and took a bite out of its head and ate its claws! She said something about it being a store policy, eating any sea creatures that just so happen to end up fried in their hot tubs.

They had the pool cover we were looking for. Service was good, but seem to be a little bit of unwillingness to help find fittings for a sand filter that was given to us. I understand theyre not making as much money off of fittings as they are the filter, so I also understand not wanting to put as much time into selling fittings. But, thats what I needed.

Long time customer and thats because they always have what I need and are always so helpful.

Always 1st rate service! I have been going here to get chemicals for my hot tub for the last 3 years. Iam always greeted and asked if I can be helped, usually the thing I need is handed to me. Highly recommend shopping here. When we first moved back here bringing our old hot tub I visited to get chemicals to start up our tub.bi went in meet a nice lady told her what I needed, I knew nothing other than my manufacturer and model number and they were able to get me everything to get my tub up and running.

These are great people,I dont know if its a family or not but they ALL are super nice and helpful. I really like getting out pool supplies from them. I believe they truly care about their customers.

I dont know how nor who may have hacked my account and gave Pool & Spa World a 3 star rating?! So, to set the record straight! Five stars plus MORE! I was assisted by Donna, and I honestly dont know of any store Ive been in INCLUDING those that aint got nothing to do with pools that Ive received such AMAZING, KIND, KNOWLEDGEABLE, and she as Im sure other employees do went out of her way to not only assist me with what I purchased, but was so very kind and attentive to my daughter whom I had with me. My daughter had many many questions, and the exquisite staff answered them ALL! My daughter didnt rummage nor run through or mess with their merchandise as Ive taught her BETTER manners! Yet, she definitely had lots of questions as well as Donna helped her choose what night time pool toy was best for her. Donna helped me to my vehicle with my purchase, and was kind BEYOND what I can ensure her job title would entail! I apologize to yall at Pool & Spa World LLC off Center St & Memorial Blvd for the obvious hacking of my account and DEFINITELY not THE CORRECT or HONEST rating of our experience in your store, and with your staff. I recently had an issue with the cover on my hot tub that, to be quite frank, probably wasn’t going to be rectified by the manufacturer. I decided I wasn’t going to press it, just make them aware of it. Steve took it on himself to make things good, even if the manufacturer wasn’t. He did and I have a new cover. I was blown away. Thanks Steve! That kind of service is rare.

This place keep very good records I bought my unit there approximately 15 years ago and they still had my purchase order on file and location. They are going to send somebody out the restart my hot tub it is been shut down for 4 years. I will know more about them after they complete it.

They are very caring and will do everything they can do to help you with your needs. This the only place I will be doing business with in the Tri-Cities area. We stopped in at Pool & Spa World after going separate ways with another local company that gave us horrid service. We met up with Leslie and she spent about 30 minutes with us to give us the necessary knowledge and materials we would need to maintain our pool for ourselves. She was very thorough and provided literature with instructions on the things she was telling us. We left there satisfied and more confident about self maintaining our pool. They gained a returning customer and future promotion.

Great selection and price. We were able to talk to the salesperson and explain our needs to get the hot tub we wanted. We havent had the spa delivered yet due to issues on our end. Will update at the time of delivery.Update: We had several follow up conversations from Donna to check to see if we were ready for delivery and if we had any follow up questions. Great customer service!Update: Hot tub was delivered as promised, set up, and checked to make it was operating properly before the guys left. We couldnt expect a better buying experience.

Incredibly unprofessional and rude service from management. Been a customer for years but recently this business has become a joke. Spent good money for a replacement liner and parts last summer. We had issues with parts going missing and having to be reordered only to find out a worker had been stealing parts. Management still won’t own up to this issue, we only found out through other employees. The liner was put in with wrinkles and sand in the pool, management thought we should be okay with it but the service workers still came back. Called this year for a replacement lid and to get a hole fixed. Essentially I was told I wasn’t wanted as a customer anymore. All I’ve ever asked was for things to be fixed correctly.

There was a small misunderstanding when opening my pool and they worked hard and diligently to fix it. The owner even took time out of her morning before the store opened to come to my home when I could be home to fix the issue. Im very pleased with my experiences with them. In response to the review from Joe Byrd:A spa diagnosis service call was made upon request in which it was determined the Circuit board had open relays that were sticking. A new board was ordered from the manufacturer and installed on the spa. Upon installation, the spa would not power-up so the technician called spa manufacturers tech support, as they are trained to do. It was determined through test procedures that the transformer also needed replacing. It is not uncommon in a 10 year old spa for more than one component to go bad at one time. It is unfortunate that it takes time to get parts ordered however. After the transformer was replaced, the spa blew a fuse which happens occasionally. The fuse was replaced on the spot and the tub operated and heated. Two days later, we received a phone call from Mr. Byrd stating that the spa had quit working. Mr. Byrd was asked if he had cleaned the filters in which he responded, It aint the filters! We came out the next day and were met at the curb by Mr. Byrd who said the spa was working fine, only that their filters were dirty and after cleaning them the spa operated normally. Mr. Byrd didnt even bother to call and cancel service call so we made a trip to his residence and never charged him. We also did not charge labor for two other service calls. So among the 4 calls to his residence, he was only charged for one service call. I believe that is more than fair. During the course of working on Mr. Byrds spa, he was very demeaning, hateful, and insinuated several times that we were crooks, not only to myself but also to my wife and employees. So, my response to him was simply to take his business somewhere else because apparently he was not happy with our service. Mr. Byrd was also given a receipt for work performed by me personally along with his old transformer that he wanted for scrap value.Steve Barker / Vice-President Pool & Spa World

Bought a hot tub from them 10 years ago. Recently had problems with it and they sent their tech guys out 3 times to fix it. These guys changed the circuit board the first time. No fix. Then they came back and said it was the transformer and it has to be ordered. After a few weeks the part came in. The tech guys come back and install it and it still doesnt work. Then they change a fuse they blew running tests and it comes on and runs but wont heat. They packed up there 3 tools they brought with them and left after we payed them. We went out to spa world for the receipt and they said they couldnt give us one. We told them the guys were very unknowledgeable about fixing it and admitted that they didnt know what was wrong. The owner told us that we needed to take our business elsewhere and was very rude.

Make promises they dont keep. Its all about the money to them, not customer oriented or pool problem solvers. They throw liability and other legal terms for anything they dont wish to do even though homeowners insurance covers. Watch out.
