Yes, things have changed since I used to frequent Hot Topic as a kid, but lets not forget about that whole idea literally being the stores namesake -- what is the current hot topic. It is quite literally a store that tries to maintain its finger on the pulse of general societal and cultural trends and does a decent job of it, all things considered. Still has some alternative, goth, and punk attire and accoutrement, but also mixed with general nerd/anime/etc. stuff -- theres a decent selection and its worth checking things out if youre at all interested in that kind of thing. Fans of Boxed Lunch, Spencers, etc. will feel right at home here.All that being said, this location is pretty typical as far as Hot Topics go. Quite small inside, but well kept, organized, and relatively well stocked. The staff is friendly enough and willing to help. They also have a small kiosk directly outside which acts as an interesting extension of the store.

Great cor people who love any anime or movie franchise and stuff like that. It is basically a cool nerd store. I do have to say that the clothing is a little pricey and plus size clothes cost more :/ but they have great shirts (the store isnt very size inclusive in the pants/jeans/skirt department) just a heads up for my beautiful big people or med-size people!

I got a really cute pair of jeans and a cute choker. Everyone there was friendly. So good experience

The usual hot topic. Theyve begun gearing towards general nerd merch like Box Lunch rather than alternative things, but the store is still great as always. Very nostalgic.

It being awhile, clothes, shoes, sales person seem to be catering to a younger customers sizes are 2X/12 below. They advertise big sizes but dont carry any or very little.

Staff was helpful by answering questions. I do wish they had a better collection of their higher quality face masks. But it does have great selection of their shirts and assorted jewelry and other items.

Nice store and nice employees. I just do not like the Adult toys and such in the back of Hot Topics. Children do come in Hot Topics with their parental figure and do not need to be exposed to Adult toys and such.

Its a hot topic. Went there for a specific type of clothing and they had it in plenty. Very helpful staff. They are the reason this place got a high 3. Theres really not much to say unless youre a 12 year old kid going through your phase

The staff is always friendly and helpful! They always accomodate me when I go. I tend to carry a lot of merchandise around and they allow me to use some of their counter to place items I want. They could use a shopping bag system to make it all easier.

Great place, great products. I did however have to stand at the counter while one employee was on the phone, two were standing there having a conversation and then left. Then once the phone call was finished the employee just walked away. I then had to go get a different employee who then rung up my ideas.

Always good deals,music availability and fandom variety. The staff at the killeen mall location are always helpful and even look to see if anything is available online if your size isnt in the store. Always go visit when we are in the mall

While the place was a bit crowded due to popularity my experience was very enjoyable and the manager is a delight to talk to great place for movie buffs and anime fans alike will definitely be visiting again to finish my collection :)

When I go to Hot Topic, its like emo heaven. I just love their clothes and their merch as well even though some of the big items are pretty expensive. Its like a hangout for me too because there are many super cool and really nice cashiers especially the female ones. ❤😄

Selection has gone downhill in the store but the cashier was super sweet and friendly. She helped us while she was still trying to put inventory away and even pulled out some new arrival merchandise for us to see.

This is my favorite place to shop than any other fashion store in the world :). I love the way the band tshirts look and all the mercy too that I can buy, but one thing that I hate about Hot Topic is, well... Expensive and I have a few reasons why I love going to hot topic. Besides buying all the band merchandise and fandom merchandise, Hot Topic is like my hangout. I would LOVE to hang out with the cashier or the other employees. They rock xD. I would never leave there :)
