First time eating here. My moms second time. She came in yesterday and liked it so she recommended us going today.The cashier/taking our order was very impatient. She seemed annoyed bye waiting for my mom who was looking through the chip selections. The cashier wasnt friendly. Kind of like she was on autopilot and hated her job! (With a passion)She walked off as we were waiting for the card to process. Then made our food with no gloves! And the other female employees werent wearing gloves either when handling food.We told her we were eating it there. And still got it to go. Had to go to the counter to get it which is no big deal but there was no employee to show me where it was. Luckily my mom had seen where they put it and one of the male employees helped me. He looked apologetic.Everyone who ordered on the pizza side had their food brought to them.Very disappointed!_______Positive note, the male employee saw me and heard me mention the sweet tea was out to my mom. He quickly apologized then said to give him 7 mins to make new ones. He also told us to becareful because the floor was a bit wet. He then promptly cleaned it up and worked on the tea. When it was ready, he personally told me! Loved that! He also wished us a great day. Mom said he worked yesterday and was super awesome then too! Great job!

The bagels and sandwiches taste good but the drinks need a lot of work. When addressing an employee about the drink she blew it off. I walked away to see her making a remark to the one who made the drink and laughing. I threw the drink away.Weekend staff needs to clean up their behavior.Also rags to clean the counters, shouldn’t be the same rags to wipe down the meat slicer.Gloves should be changed. No one should be touching food with the same gloves just used to clean with.What’s happening to the quality? Is this the standard for your bagels? A little cream cheese and on half the bagel…

Used to live in Austin, and hadnt found a bagel stop since we moved....finally discovered this bagel shop. The staff are fast and friendly and even give tips on best days to load up on bagels (Wednesday btw). Made the kiddo happy. We got two options this time but they have like 12 different bagels and like another 12 different cream cheese options. Well be back. :-)

Food looks good. Never received it so I wouldn’t know. I changed my rating because the manager or owner called me personally to resolve the situation and that speaks volumes.

I havent had a bagel with cream cheese and lox and all the perfect additions since I left Berkeley California over 20 years ago and I even spent several years in Tacoma, Seattle Washington, this Bagel was TOTALLY ON PAR with Cali❣❣and a special Fort Hood soldier sorry I didnt get her name but she has some serious jets, she caught me in my car to return my credit card KUDOS to our new Army❤💯, oh yes the service was AWESOME!!!

I will come back 100%. Good place for breakfast. For two people we ordered two bagels: one stuffed and another one with honey pecan cream cheese. So many varieties of bagels and cream cheese 😍.And we returned to this place again. I actually got the same type of bagels as last time. All seasoned bagel with egg, ham and cheese. Another one is galic parmesan with honey pecan.

I would have gave a 5 star for past experiences. But the last two times I came to the drive thru I waited 10+ minutes. I first time after waiting I just pulled to the window and the lady was like you gotta order back there. I was like I was sitting for 10 legit minutes without being greeted. Then the 2nd time no one greeted me or came to the window. So I pulled to the end of the line and called to see if they were open and the lady was like you must didnt drive over the senor. For the amount of times I come here I aint dumb. I was just mad cause I really wanted my bagel and no I wasnt walking in with my infant or drive to Heights. So Maybe Ill come back when Im out of my feelings.

The services and food was quality was poor. The bagel was flat with more cream cheese than bagel. The sandwich was sloppy. The frappe tasted like milk with no flavor. The worker attitude was bad when asked if she could make my frappe with some flavor. I will not be visiting this establishment anytime soon. The weekend staff gave poor service.

I tried the lox and cream cheese on an asiago bagel, it was delicious. So good in fact, I went in the next day to try out one of their Italian subs, it was good too. The staff is very helpful and walked me through the menu when I told her it was my first time coming there and she even remembered my name the next day as well. I will definitely be returning, and Im glad I signed up for the reward points!

All the yes.As two east coasters in Texas...my fiance` and I were ecstatic to hear that the place is owned by New Yorkers. They serve a Jersey favorite - Taylor pork roll (Taylor Ham) - which my fiance` hasnt had since he moved from back home to Texas.I didnt get a chance to take a photo of his sandwich... He ate it before I could do so. The espresso is awesome - this was the best latte I have had since I worked at a place similar back home and could make my own.They have a huge menu - from breakfast sandwiches to subs. They make their own New York style bagels in-house, and tons of specialty cream cheese which comes in many flavors.I can say from experience -The sweet jalapeno: a sweet base with fresh jalapenos. The flavor is awesome, and its the perfect depiction of sweet heat.The cinnamon sugar: the perfect combination of sweet cream cheese and cinnamon. Its not too sweet, and it doesnt leave a weird filmy aftertaste like the Philadelphia Cinnamon cream cheese does.Bite the Bagel DOES have a rewards program - and we will 100% be returning...probably quite often.10/10. I dined in and also took an order to go. The wait is pretty long because everything is made to order. I got bagles, chicken parm sandwich and white chocolate frap so far. Its in the same suite as the a pizza place. The staff is ok.

80% of the time I come here they are sold out of everything. I’ve been at 10am and they only had poppy seed or cinnamon raisin they don’t close until 7 pm why not make more of what is popular to last? Even if it’s just plain. That being said when I am lucky enough to go super early and they actually have bagels the bagels are delicious. The only place I can find a bagel half decent as the ones back home in New York looking forward to trying the pizza

I texted a friend at work a funny GIF about cannolis. A quick google search and phone call later, we were headed to this place for, what I believe is, the only cannoli being sold in Killeen, Texas. At the beginning of this trip, I had doubts. All doubts were alleviated once I took the first bite of this wonderful Italian confection. I’m not saying their cannolis are good because they are the only ones in town. I’m saying they might be the best in Texas. Stop by and try everything they sell there. Bagels, coffee, pizza... and CANNOLIS!

Love this place! My daughter and I stop often on our way to school in the morning. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the bagels and cream cheese are delicious, and the portions and prices are perfect.

Customer service here is rude and snippy. It would be nice to be able to place your order with out an attitude... I get it when it’s busy people become overwhelmed but today was the 3rd time in a row. Only reason why they get 2 stars is their food is decent and consistent. If only the owner/manager could find better employees.

I went to Village Pizza actually which is part of Bite the Bagel. I love the bagels and tried the pizza and was blown away. I had the veggie pizza and it was delicious with a thin and crispy crust. I will definitely go or order from them again.

Moving from New York to Texas was a lot to adjust to and one of my favorite things from home are the bagels. I was so excited when I found this place and tried their bagels! They are the closest thing Ive ever had to a true New York bagel!! So yummy! The staff is awesome and super friendly, even when youre the first person to walk in when they open, youre greeted with a smile and kindness!!Wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! Food is great, but customer service is lacking. Sat in the drive-thru with no one asking what I wanted until I said hello. Once my order was placed, no one came to the window to take my money or even tell me how much my order was! We waited so long that the lady behind me backed out the drive-thru and yelled to me that the intercom was broken. Which it wasnt. I literally had to get out my car and tap on the window before someone came over to take my money and hand me my food. Like I said the food is good, but needs to hire more people asap. Horrible customer service.

Found this new place bite the bagel it’s a sandwich joint. I ordered a Italian sub and was unbelievable good your probably thinking it’s a sandwich how can it not be good, but it happens. The sandwich itself was just fresh along with the fresh vegetables in it. If your in the area give them a try.

First time I had a reuben in 17 years and it was great. The bagle was different than traditional sliced rye but in the good way. The small meatball sandwiches are huge also, so dont over order! Prices were reasonable and staff was friendly. Will revisit!

I haven’t been here in years but I never reviewed when I lived in TX. Used to go there close to everyday for a bagel and coffee before going through the gate on post. Still miss it! One of the only things I miss about Fort Hood.

Best bagles in this area

This was the last place my husband and I ate before we left Fort Hood. I was so sad to leave, especially after we discovered this little cafe! Before that we had gone here another time and both times were delicious and wonderful. The staff is so sweet and the bagels are so good. I love that they put a generous amount of cream cheese on the bagels. Their blended coffee is good too. If we ever come back to Fort Hood, were definitely stopping by. ❤

Very nice and clean place. All the employees are Courteous and welcoming.

The only problem I have is the poor communication/customer service skills the person answering the phone had. She was horrible when I asked for the choices of bagels (purchased several bagels) and she seemed irritated with my question. She even gave a sarcastic comment on what a baker’s dozen was. However, when I arrived to pickup my order the (Caucasian) person cashiering was so pleasant. So, it’s disappointing to know that people are in a customer service position and seem to not understand their role. Other than that I would give it the other two stars.

The bagels were not as fresh as you would think for a Sunday morning and they gave us only 3 small tbs cups for 13 bagels.

Bagels best from North Austin to at least Waco. Wide variety but the Everything Bagel is hard to beat. Completed with a litany of fillers and a friendly staff.

I love this bagel shop! They are a friendly way to start the morning. The staff greets me by name when I walk in the door. Their lox and cream cheese bagel is fantastic. They have a number of great schmears, especially the honey pecan and the sweet jalapeno! Cant recommend enough!

Usually a go-to place for lunch but the customer service has been poor the last few visits. This visit, after sitting at the drive thru for a while I decided to go in and see if anyone was working. Once I get back in the drive thru (kids in car), my order is taken and the lady is extremely rude. Surprised to learn that she was the owner. Will not be coming back here.

This bagel place is decent not the best. Id prefer to buy store brought bagels instead and just buy cream cheese from this place. The bagels here are just to hard and it seems to doughy, but this is just my opinion. You know to each its own.

This is a great place to stop in and get a nice bagel sandwich and a coffee to start your day. It takes about 5-10 minutes to get what you ordered, but you will be glad you waited. If you are looking for a McDonalds breakfast sandwich look elsewhere, but if you want a quality product choose Bite the Bagel.

The kids and I love it here. The food is amazing, especially the veggie pizza. The games we play here are awesome. Take time out to visit them.

I just had the best bagel ever! This place blows Einstein’s and Brugers out of the water. The homemade bacon scallion cream cheese has brightened my entire day. Discovered this place and we are now addicted! So much variety, everything is freshly made, and the staff is always friendly! Breakfast sandwiches are ahhh-mazing and a great price. We are able to feed three people for $12.

Being from NY I am very skeptical about a lot of foods; but after being out here for a year. I came across this cafe on Facebook & LET ME TELL YOU!!! This is the BEST breakfast sandwich that Ive had in Texas so far & it honestly reminds me so much of home back in NY. Thank you for that. The staff is amazing & very polite. Food is fresh & tastes amazing. & the bagels are out of this world. The overall experience would be beyond a 5 if they had more stars. I already came back for a 2nd time so thank you for making another loyal customer.

Went here to get food while they were still open, the lady at the register literally said oh, sorry were closed, we havent had a customer in awhile and I havent had a chance to lock the door yet but you can get pizza over there if you want but we arent taking any customers. Why even have set hours if youre going to turn customers away during your supposed open hours. I do not recommend!!

Im from jersey where there is a bagel shop and diner at every corner. This place def brought me home for a minute while i scarfed down my favorite onion bagel with bacon egg and cheese. I can definitely say without a doubt, there needs to be more of these!!
