A really nice mix and selection of secondhand, low & high end, plus unusual items! I also enjoy the level of service there, friendly but not over doing it! The owner is also very sweet!I like to check out Rainbow Attic once a week to see what’s new and there always is! Never know what you’ll find so look at everything. They’ve got accessories, art and knick knacks too! Would probably not bother coming here for men’s clothing but they do have some! There is a nice sized sale rack in the back and they also have some bins outside where you can dig and find stuff for cheap — $1 an item. It’s fun!
Neat little place in the corner of a shopping center. I found some great items at reasonable prices.
The worker and owner of the place was so sweet I’m around 16 years old and in my town none of the thrift stores have such cute and affordable clothes when going with my mom and friend we all found stuff that fit our style the store was so neat and convenient to shop in
I love this place. Always something new. Nice variety of things to choose from.
Terrible service. The women working there was rude to me and was very obviously following me around the store even though I was not stealing and had not done anything to make her suspicious. When I was about to pay I heard the man behind the counter make a very rude remark to another customer. At that point I was fed up and didn’t even end up buying anything. Outside the store I was talking about my experience with my boyfriend and a women overheard us and informed us that she had a similar experience with the employees at this store. I used to go to this thrift store all the time as a kid and I have to say I’m very disappointed in the customer service.
Arrogant, people that act like they are doing you a favor taking something you want them to sell. Also completely untogether with tracking and settling up with you. They claimed they only had three of four things I left there and when I questioned them the older woman at the cash register got defensive and told me I could just take my stuff back. NO ALOHA! Prices are too high as well. Greatly dislike this place.
I don’t ever leave reviews but felt the need to. Every time I go into the store the employees are extremely rude, and have no aloha whatsoever. It’s a thrift store for crying out loud, and they act all high and mighty. The employees and the store are a joke. Also charging higher prices for leggings that are fake lululemon items.
The signs that say “no this” “no that” “no nothing” create such a negative vibe. No aloha. Angry people work there. They have their customers park in the electric stalls when they pick up stuff. Today there was a huge truck was in the stall for electric only l, right next to me. He Made sure he broke my charging flap on his way out, clearly no aloha from customers too! I wish people didn’t make things so uncomfortable on Maui now. Spread aloha! 🤙
Great place to shop! Bought a nearly new swimsuit top for $8 and a shirt for $7 - great given the quality of the clothing and they would have been five times the cost somewhere else on the island.
Great consignment store for womens clothing and knickknacks.. and smaller but nice selection of mens clothing. Great for Asian pieces and collectibles. Fun store.
I called them today, talked to a very nice person on the other end. I was looking to sell a rolling laptop case by US Luggage that Ive had for a few years. The consignment office is closed today and would be open tomorrow. If we were not busy tomorrow I would go there, but since we are, I will just donate it to the Salvation Army. That all being said, she was extremely helpful in her suggestions and its a place we will go to. To the person who said they were over priced: This is Maui and things do cost more here. You are obviously not from here (and neither are we) and the cost of living and doing business here is a lot greater than the Mainland. I read all your reviews and you only had one good thing to say about a restaurant you went to and then complained the service was too slow. If all your reviews are negative and nasty, people catch on quickly and then quickly dismiss your comments. Your comments were not constructive or well thought out, just plain nasty. If you dont like something or a service provided, you would be more credible if you explained what it was you were not satisfied with the goods or service.
So easy to consign, very clean and trendy. I ship consignments over there and get a check in the mail, its been a great experience! I love to check out the dollar bin every time I visit Maui :) A must stop!
Great selection, nice quality, reasonable prices. Nice store. Purchased several clothing items while on vacation.
Great quality items, awesome customer service, low prices!!! Would be my #1 one stop shop, if I lived here. 👍
This place ROCKs ! It has been around for 30 something years . They must be doing something right . I visit every time we are in town . We just picked up a couple of boogie board, and cool Aloha shirts . I have always found the staff to be really nice . They are always busy helping customers so sometimes you just gotta wait your turn.
A nice little secondhand shop, with a little bit of everything. Lots of womens clothing, some mens, a little bit of housewares and lots of nicknacks. Always a nice place to find quality clothes
Really old stuff, most not even good enough for goodwill. once in a blue moon something comes up otherwise same maui junk
A Kihei landmark, carries good / unusual housewares, good quality clean(!) clothing, and the occasional high-end designer pieces. Things move quickly, always something new to see every trip.
Love, love, love this place.....unique island collectables.... they even have two large containers prior to entering the store where they sell everything in those areas for $1
Absolutely love this store I will be back !!
Variety of different items however since they take things on consignment theyre overpriced. I find a lot better deals at thrift stores like Goodwill or Salvation Army.
Many great items, clothing & household at good prices.
Found great treasures, very cute, lots of good deals.
Had some great deals and quality clothing and souvenirs if you search. Bought a coach leather bag for $25, vintage plates $5, speedo swim suit $10, Banana Republic dress $12, and friend bought a few souvenirs Tiki cups and Maui shirts for a few dollars. Way more affordable. We were going the international market in Kehei but found it too trinkety, touristy and expensive. Great place if you enjoy thrifting and you can find some nice things to take home in memory of Hawaii. Lady is lovely and does not rush you.
Some new things and older stuff, including take home souvenirs. Excellent jewelry selection including pearls and precious gems.
Rainbow Attic has great clothes and lots of other great stuff!
Its a little spendy for a second hand store but I really like it.
Thrift shop with Amazing finds
Too expensive for the quality of items they offer
My favorite thrift store.
I found a book that was about 2.5 inches square. A small book. It had a $5 price tag on it! I asked the mid 60s Asian lady at the cash register if she thought that was an excessive price (Probably more than new.) Her reply was:If you dont like it, you can put it back, or, Ill give it to you for free...just pay this months rent. She said this loudly from about 10 feet away so everyone could hear.Probably the worst thrift store clerk ever. Ill never shop there again.
Dont go here! Rude employees that think they are better than their customers and act as if they are doing us a favor by their presence.
Best consignment shop.
Fun items.
Good food
It was nice
A little over priced
Weird
Must stop
LOVE!!
