After returning scooter received bill for damage. There was no phone call or heads up. Called to dispute the charge but there was supposed damage at time of return. Have no idea if the damage was there at time of rental. No damage was done by me. Book ahead to save a little cash to pay the little extra for the insurance. There are a lot of people around that can damage the scooter while it is parked.

Amazing! Good price, amazing staff, the scooter was clean and ran great. We rented for 24 hours and they let us park overnight in the lot and come back. We got around the key so well.

Straightforward, easy place to rent from, with friendly staff. I looked online and rented ahead of time to save money (versus just walking up and renting same day). Heads up: no American Express or Apple Cards accepted. Luckily I had my debit card.The Caroline and Duval location closes earlier (4pm) than the larger location in the more central part of the island so plan accordingly.If you do an “all day” rental at 9am then you just have to return it by 9am the next day... which gives you a 24 hour rental for about 30% less than an a 24 hour rental costs.

Best place in town to rent scooters. Affordable, easy going and very helpful.Also remember, they get busy because of the popularity and may not always be able to pick you up or drop off rentals to you. Either way, they are a joy to rent from and have well kept selection of scooters. They even sell them. Who knew?!

Great vendor for street toys!

Brand new scooter. Staff were friendly. Easy pickup and after hours drop off with key drop. Pricing fair, cheaper if you book in advance online. No hidden fees, they do charge $5 for gas and there was a damage waiver option for $10 which I opted for.

Got bike rentals & was treated as more than just a customer. They were so nice!! When it started raining we were even offered ponchos & a shuttle ride to the airport where we needed to go

Hands down the best scooter rental place in Key West. All the employees are super friendly and helpful, scooters are in great shape and taken care of. Ive tried a couple of different places and was disappointed since then I always rent from Sunshine and its a great experience every time!

Re-writing this, they’re right. They have been there for me. I think the only thing that honestly upset me was they weren’t really willing to help my situation but that’s me complaining. They still are a good company and technically are best in town. Will still rent just from them just a little upset with customer service.

Great place to rent scooters, only reason for 4 stars is because all their scooters are identical and tourist looking. But five stars for convenience and options galore! Also wear comfortable looser/flexable shorts will make ride more enjoyable! Also reserve 24hrs in advance to get a discount online!

Unfortunately my wife and I ended up double booking and had to cancel our scooter rental. We have been coming to key west for years and sunshine rentals are above and beyond the best. Their customer service is awesome and would recommend to everyone!!!!!!!

Stop by the visitor center to get a coupon and get a 10% discount. It seems to be four hours originally. Get a passport and a guaranteed credit card. The staff were friendly and the bike brakes were a bit inconvenient to stop with a pedal, but it was nice to go around. Two hours seems to be enough. I shouldnt be too sick for my legs to walk.
