Iconic brand at an iconic location. The shop has 2 floors (women & children upstairs) with a solid assortment of Key West specific apparel. They did have some skateboards, but the assortment is super limited. Basically a handful of Sector 9 cruisers, some penny boards, and a random assortment of logo decks from Alien, Toy Machine, Real, Krooked, etc. I didnt see any parts counter for trucks, wheels, hardware.They do have a good amount of Key West / Ron Jon stickers by the counter on the first floor which are worth checking out.I would have rated this location a 5/5, but I was just at the Clearwater shop and they had a much better selection IMO.

Before you even walk into this Ron Jon location it just looks so inviting and like you need to at least check it out. It’s pretty much your typical Ron Jon- lots of cute clothes and little trinkets and other. And on the second floor, all the beach/ surfing gear you could want or need.Also, keep your eye on the Hydroflask/ Yeti water bottles and stuff they sell because they have some small sale items- when I went we found a few 32oz Hydroflask water bottles on sale so we snatched them real fast- and if you know anything about Hydroflask you know they’re expensive because they work really well, so any kind of sale you have to jump on right away.But yeah, it’s definitely worth at least popping in this store if you’re there! Just be careful of your pocketbook because you will most likely find something to your liking.

I just wanted to send out a great thank you to your organization. I grew up with Ron Jons in the Cocoa, Florida area as a kid but moved away. Yesterday in the Florida keys I shopped at your store with a party of 11 family members. The young man working for you asked me if I was a veteran, I dont hardly ever ask for that discount but decided to show him my ID. You can say that as a company you stand behind your VETERANS. I was so impressed with your thoughtfulness. If I could give you 10 stars I would.

So I would like to start out that I absolutely thought they had a great selection and the shop is gorgeous itself...the only thing I have an issue is, is that they had no larger sizes. I’m slim waisted but I am larger in my thighs...they had up to large but once you got to there it was $50 for a pair of shorts the cheaper shorts didn’t have larger sizes. The man wasn’t mean but had a little bit of an attitude when I asked if they had larger sizes. I just wished there was a little bit more selection or maybe even XL options given in the store. I just think it’s a little unfair that it pertains more to the petite women (which I get is how most stores are) but I didn’t know they was gonna be THAT small. Overall the store was so cute itself and some of the staff was friendly.

As a former employee I can caution anyone who wants to work here that they will over work you and NOT pay you what they promise. If you figure this out and quit like I did then I can assure you they will rip you off on your hours. I did almost 70 hours and got paid for 49. They cant keep people bc they have no respect for the workers and the managers have no idea how to run the store. Im glad I left when I did.

Staff was friendly and helpful. While they didnt have the items I liked in my size, my wife was able to find some things she liked in hers. Changing rooms are upstairs and do require someone to let you in with a key. They did honor a discount I showed from my mobile device.

I lost a pair of $250 Costa sunglasses and could not remember where i lost them. Went back to this store a couple days later and they had them. I was shocked! I was happy to get them back. The employees and manager were awesome and helpful. I love Ron Jon merchandise and bought some great shirts from here when i was in Key West. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!

I was there a week ago and the workers are horrible. They were laughing at me and not being discreet about it. They were just looking at me and whenever I looked at them, they rolled their eyes. They should be fired because they didn’t even try to help me, and the Ron Jon Surf Shop should not promote this bullying. One worker looked like a teenager and I forgot his name and the other was a woman whose name I also forgot

Limited selection compared to a regular sized Ron Jon. The staff are pretty good. The prices are above most Ron Jons, but its not awful. I was a bit disappointed that most of the store was taken up by clothing from brands that I could just as easily buy somewhere else (possibly even cheaper).

The place is very cute picturesque, they have many skate products, but the lady who looked after me had no idea that she was selling and it was impossible to get her to advise me on the purchase, really a pity and that I am from Argentina and there were accessories that surely they would have been useful to me.

I was planning to purchase shorts, necklace + a little Ron Jon sticker, but didnt... why?The blonde middle aged lady at top of stairs was very rude. She would not respond or look at me when I asked her to open the dressing room. 2 or 3 times, she kept folding.Finally, without saying 1 word, or looking at me, she came to open the dressing room (so she obviously heard me), then she turned around and went back to folding... appearing very irritated.So I put my stuff down, bought nothing, and left feeling disappointed cuz we usually love visiting every Ron Jon.If you hate working there... go work somewhere else.

The customer service was next to non existent. We interacted with an employee named Taylor who had a nasty attitude toward paying customers. We will not be going back. It was ridiculous and completely uncalled for. We should have asked for her manager.
