We recently moved into our new home in Kerrville. The garage door was operating erratically. We called Schilling and an appointment was scheduled. Levi called with an expected time of arrival and arrived promptly. He was able to assess the problem(s) and fix the door opener. Levi was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The door works great now. We are very pleased with the service we received from Schilling.

I really appreciate their professionalism and service. They answer their phones, explained the process and deliver the service. Levi was my service rep and did an amazing job. Levi assessed the issues, went to work and did not leave until we both were satisfied. Also, gathered information in case a callback is required.

Expecting service call on next day, had a call from Levi stating that he could be out in 15 minutes. Arrived, looked over old opener and we decided to replace with a new belt drive opener, which he had on the truck. Levi was courteous and professional and had the new opener installed and checked out in short order. Always prompt service from Schilling!

Brian and Levi were great to work with. I had an electrical issue that caused a malfunction to my unit. Brian walked me through his diagnoses and informed me of what the issues could be. He had to order parts and promptly called me when they came in. He and Levi came out to install the new parts, lubricated the door and educated me on how to properly maintain the garage door. I had a spring break on my garage door. Called Shilling late in the day. They were able to send Mark and Brian out the next day. In less than an hour these guys removed the old spring, installed a new one, lubricated all the hinges and pulleys and cleaned up. They had to work around my car which was in the garage when the spring broke. The door works better than it has since I bought this house. All at a reasonable price. What more could you want?

Matt and John did an awesome job !!! I thought I might have to purchase a new garage overhead door and they worked together to solve my issues as the door would not close. They made all the adjustments, put the door and rollers back in the track and lubricated all of the rollers, main spring, and the track. I mentioned that my wall push switch did not work correctly and they replaced the wire from the switch to the liftmaster unit and it works great. I called Schilling at 7:30 am and by 1:35 pm, they arrived. This was a job they had to squeeze in as I was not on their schedule. Very much appreciated their concern in securing my residence. Excellent service and very happy that I chose Schilling for the purchase and service they provided.

They were able to mitigate some issues I had with a previous shop door rollup install and make everything right... when all others said it could not be done. Brian came to our home and went the extra mile for us with our two garage door openers and greased and oiled the garage door. Very nice service. We will call Schilling Overhead Door anytime we have a problem.

1. Took over a month to call and schedule installing the door despite telling me that the door was in stock.2. Misled me on the labor charge which they said was $350 but on the invoice is listed as 500.3. Damaged three of my plastic window inserts and then tried to charge me to replace them. They were damaged by in my opinion trying to put them in the wrong way. From the front they tried to bend the plastic to squeeze it in the frame without taking out the window.4. Did not clean up after themselves after installing the doors leaving old cardboard, screws and trash in my driveway and yard.5. Will never use this company again. I believe that there are better, less expensive companies in this area

In the short term they came to the house and made the needed adjustment to get our car out of the garage. Today they came to install the new garage door we selected. I just had Schilling Overhead Door replace my over-sized two door garage door replaced. My 30 year old door was in such bad shape that we were scared everytime we opened it. Schilling came out told me exactly what was wrong, gave me a price and we decided to go ahead. We couldnt be happier Not only did they replace the bad door and broken springs but all the hardware and tracks that the door operates on. They removed my old wood seal Trim that allowed all sorts of unwanted bugs into our garage with a proper seal.Steve was a professional from start to finish. He made sure that everything operated properly, made sure that the door sealed correctly and that it closed and opened to the proper levels.The price we agreed upon was reasonable and what was quoted.I would recommend Schilling Overhead Door to anyone wanting to replace or install a new Garage Door.

I have never had the displeasure of working with this company but am writing a review based off of the experience that my parents had with them installing the overhead doors on their barn. The major issue that has occurred is that this company failed to bring the weather strip far enough down on either side of the doors and, therefore, dust and rodents have easy access to the barn. In addition, the failed to install any weather strip at all on the top part of the barn opening, so when the door is closed there is a gap between the door and barn itself. These problems, while they sound minor, cause major issues for my parents as they live on a ranch with dirt roads and are forced to sweep out the barn at least once a week and leave out mouse traps.Also, in case anyone is wondering why I am writing this review instead of my parents, it is due to the fact that they are the type of people who keep things to themselves, blame themselves for hiring the wrong person, and feel it is their own responsibility to fix it. I admire my parents for being this way but keeping poor service to yourself doesnt help anyone else. In addition, they should not be obligated to do the work that they have already paid a supposed professional for.Ken Schilling, you are a thief, terrible manager, and/or a poor judge of your employees character and abilities. I hope youll contact me and attempt to make this right.Note- I have uploaded photos of the subpar work for those interested.
