Loved this location and the building. A beauty, trendy spot. We came in on a Saturday morning and the place was almost empty. The coffee and chai tea were delicious. Website said there was brunch, but it was really unclear how to order, the sign only had a couple items on it. Not what we were hoping for. This place has a lot of potential, but needs more purpose, at least for brunch.

Solid little place in the middle of Kerrville. Good little menu with perfect food to go with some beers. Their brewed beers are very good, had the lager, the German saison, and the brown porter.

First stop at an eatery in Kerrville, & wished wed have picked a different one. For starters, the help was pretty non-plus. Is it too much to ask for employees to have a bit of personality & be friendly; smile? while theyre taking my money that I could be spending elsewhere? I mean, it IS a pub! Have a beer & get happy!😊 Anyway, I was extremely disappointed w/the pork sandwich that I ordered, & for the price, I was expecting to love it! The pork was barely seasoned & there was precious little of it on there, & may-bee a tablespoon of coleslaw on it. My husband ordered their burger, & it was good. The place was very busy for a Monday night, & has a lot of good reviews, which is one reason that we chose to eat there, plus we enjoy visiting pubs. Personally, I wouldnt go back, & regret going at all.😔

We had only been to Pint and Plow once before and loved it. Tonight when we went, I got the Hen House Pizza. The spinach was over cooked and wilted. The pizza lacked flavor completely. My girlfriends chicken sandwich had a dead fly toasted into her sandwich. It was revolting. When we called (at 8:15), they said their kitchen was closed and that they couldn’t do anything for us. They did not even offer a refund, even though she couldn’t eat the rest of her meal. Will not be going back.

Small outside seating and a few inside seatings but all open air. There were trees and an area for a music group to play. The parking lot was small but there was street parking also. They have beer and wine and a small menu of food. It was a casual and relaxed atmosphere. They also had curb pickup.

I liked the vibe. I liked the hospitality of the staff. I enjoyed the full beer flight. Generous pours. I ordered the pretzel. It is enough to feed two. The cheese sauce could be more substantial, more gruyer perhaps. The restrooms are clean. I liked the naked ironwork of the stalls. This seemed like a place where friends meet. This could become my new local favorite.

I lived in that town for 4 years and never realized this amazing place was there! Truly a breath of fresh air in an intimate location. While it is in the middle of town, youd never even know it. On nice days the outdoor patio is perfect for hanging out with friends. Likewise the interior is very clean and modern. Food is very fresh and the pretzels are amazing! Ive only visited a few times but definitely a new favorite! The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars is because I have not sampled the alcohol yet, which is a part of the staple of Pint & Plow. But Im sure, they will still leave a positive impression!

The atmosphere here is amazing! It is a great place to study, meet up with friends and family, or just to take a little break. The beer is alright and nothing to go crazy for, the food is mediocre, but the service is awful. The food is very much over priced for the quality delivered. I ordered a burger and fries and the fries were charcoal black! I went to say something but after waiting 20-25 minutes for our food to arrive, tasting the nasty fries, and find one of the waitresses (who was wearing extremely skimpy clothing) she then said the kitchen was closed. Not only did they fail to inform us that the kitchen closed early, it took nearly 40 minutes to be able to say something about the poor quality of the food. She did not offer to help, to provide a refund, or even attempt to make the situation better - in fact, she just walked away. Not very professional or helpful. In addition to this, my table was automatically charge 20% tip, FOR WHAT? We were not served our food, had to self-serve our drinks, and the waitresses did not even help. We even had to go get our own food because they called our number. Also, a male and female who were employed here were arguing about their relationship at the table next to ours. It was clear they were not on break either because afterwards they got up to go clean. Very disappointed by the service and food here. I may return and give them another try, but I am extremely hesitant.

Great casual, local spot for drinks or dinner. Beers are pretty standard (I thought the IPA stood out for its freshness), but cant go wrong with them. Food is the highlight: organic and locally sourced whenever possible, but still with huge portions for the price. Get a pretzel and cheese - its closer to a pretzel-shaped soft biscuit with queso. Large pizzas are a deal, but only get one if at least 3 are sharing or you want leftovers.

High prices for mediocre food and disgusting beer. I ordered a flight sampler of their beers, and half of them were so awful I couldnt drink them--my very first time to not finish my beer! The food is OK, but maybe in this small town its relatively better. The most attractive element of this place is the atmosphere and open-air seating--in nice weather, its lovely.

A wonderful place to meet someone or to go and read a book. Four separate rooms on the coffee side, three of them with tables, and one adjacent to the coffee bar with a leather couch and leather armchairs. Haven’t visited the restaurant side yet. Will be back for sure for more coffee.[updated 6/1/2019] Been to restaurant side once or twice since. As well as coffee outside at a picnic table. My wife and I drove by Friday (?) night; the whole place was packed. P&P really adds something to Kerrville and is the anchor to this Jefferson/Clay nexus.[updated 2/28/2020] Had the “Deconstructed Falafel” (salad) today. It was the first thing I’ve had that was slightly disappointing. The main thing I eat falafel for is efficient, non-meat protein. (And taste, too.) But I had to chase the hiding chick peas around the romaine lettuce with a fork to get protein and, even then, didn’t feel like I do when eating falafel balls in a pita or bowl.

We really enjoyed our visit. Pint & Plow thought out this space really well. The coffee house is super quaint and comfortable with several different rooms and seating options. The brew house area is open and inviting also with several different seating options inside and out. There are tables, booths, family style tables and a bar to choose from. The food was delicious, although the pork tacos were surprisingly a little bland. Definitely get the pretzel. It and the other breads are made in house and are amazing. The Dirty Porter was also great...its their Madrugada porter with a shot of house-made cold brew coffee. We also came home with the Tchoupitoulas IPA in a crowler and enjoyed it the next day.

I stopped here on my way through town and wanted a flight. Its both a coffee shop and a brewery, and the brewery side wasnt open quite yet. But the woman working the coffee counter still went over and poured a flight for me. Nice talking with her, too. It was enjoyable sitting in the coffee shop side and sipping their beers. Great atmosphere.I really enjoyed the beer, too. Just one IPA, not 90% IPAs, which I find annoying. I got a lager, wheat, IPA, amber, and porter. The IPA was better and smoother than most. The porter very easy drinking. Lager nice and refreshing. Im a big amber fan, and this wasnt my favorite amber ever, but perhaps my palate was compromised by the other beers. Regardless, Id still stop back here in a heartbeat if Im in the area again.

DISAPPOINTING! Dont go here just for the food. Definitely our least favorite food stop on our vacation and that stinks because I was looking forward to it. You stand in line to order, at the end of your order they tell you there is an automatic 20% tip. They do ask if you would like to adjust it but it felt awkward saying no. Who does that tip go to? They bring your food to the table but drinks (non-beer) are self serve (which they failed to tell us so we sat there with no drinks until our food arrived and we asked) and you clean up your own table. We asked a food server for a to go box and never received it so we had to go get that too. We earned that 20% tip more than they did. If you are going to have self serve, do NOT do an automatic tip. I got the rueben. It was OK. I wouldnt order it again. Husband created his own pizza. They apparently pickle their own jalapeños in their beer. It ruined the taste of the pizza because they just end up tasting fermented. Maybe the beer is good? But dont go for the food.....
