Outstanding care and customer service. My 04 Explorer wasnt running right and the check engine light was on. I was dreading a big bill. Kenny had me drop it off and he worked it into his schedule. It ended up being a simpler (and much less expensive) fix than I had anticipated. Thank you Action for your honesty and prompt service. I definitely recommend this place and will return for future automotive needs!

Outstanding service and super friendly even if youre a first time customer! I was traveling on I-10 and lost the Water Pump on my truck. The owner and his excellent staff got me on the road with a new pump and belt. The pricing for parts and labor were simply fair and affordable. I cant thank them enough and highly recommend to all!

I was very impressed with Kenny, the owner/manager. He’s honest, professional & knows his stuff!! I had my radiator hoses & differential fluid changed at a substantial less cost than the other repair shops quoted me. I will definitely go back whenever I need vehicle maintenance!

I would definitely recommend these guys. They have been my mechanic for two years and I couldnt be happier. Customer service is fast and professional, their work is honest and very well priced. I looked into five mechanic shops when I had a large car repair- and they had the best price by far. That was two years ago and I have used them ever since. I have NEVER had any problems with them so call them now!!!

While on vacation near Kerrville, my car would not start. Jumper cables did not work. The tow truck driver recommended Action Automotive. So on a Sunday afternoon, I had the car towed to the Action garage. The owner happened to be there so all was explained. By 9:30 the next morning, I got a call from them a my hotel saying all was fixed. A clamp had broken off from the starter and I was good to go. The repair cost was more than fair and I was well satisfied with the service, repair and customer. I highly recommend Action Automotive. My experience was very satisfying and I found them very honest people..

Simply put, the best in Kerrville. Took my Tahoe in for repairs and they let me know everything that was wrong and in need of repairs. Honest, straightforward, and prompt in doing the repairs . I wouldnt take my vehicle anywhere else.

Ive taken multiple vehicles to them and every time they explain in detail the issues they run into and different option on how to move forward. I took our car in for an estimate to have struts and shocks put on. I had got a quote from the auto dealer and Action was quite a bit less. I had heard around town that they were very good to work with. I was not disappointed. When I picked up the car it was $125.00 less then what they quoted me. How often does that happen? It turned out the parts where less so they passed it on to me. Car rides great and I was so impressed I sent them a thank you card and some brownies!

This is the only place I will take my truck to from now on. Estimate was $500 less than other name brand shops! Kenny and the gang are awesome, and work is top notch! Dont take your vehicle anywhere else!

These people know what theyre doing from top to bottom and their customer service is second to NONE. Im relatively new to the community and found them early--SO thankful. You can probably find someone who will do it cheaper, but thats exactly what youll get--cheaper. Action Automotive uses quality parts and they provide a warranty to back their work. Things will have to change pretty drastically before I consider going anywhere else. Service this good is a breath of fresh air.

Where do I begin? These guys told me they THINK my coil could’ve gone out and that it could possibly be something else going on with my vehicle. They tried charging me a ridiculous amount just to replace the coil. I then told them not to touch my car. When I arrived to their place of business, Kenny told me he wasn’t going to give me my keys unless I paid a $60. I asked him “why would I have to pay you guys $60?When you have no idea what is going on with my car?” His response was I told you it was the coil that’s out, I said sir “you just told me that you THINK my coil is out and that you have to run test on my car to see if that’s exactly what’s going on.” I said “I’m not going to pay you $60 Because you guys didn’t even do anything to my vehicle.” He gave my keys and was very unprofessional doing so. I said thank you and didn’t get a response. Guys be careful going here and be sure to check with different automotive businesses before saying yes to this place. I would never take another one of my vehicles here. I ended up getting my car fixed for half the price they were trying to charge me.

The folks at Action Automotive in Kerrville are great! Ive found them to be very honest-dealing and forthright --both with anticipated work and costs of repairs (which were very reasonable when compared to other places, especially with our dealership!!!) Theyre great about keeping you in the loop closely, regarding additional costs or repairs, should any arise, and theyre great about checking with YOU (and your extended warranty co. if needed) BEFORE they do any work! They explain everything very clearly up front. If expense is a crucial issue, theyll also advise you as to which repairs could wait longer, versus those that will end up costing you more if you wait. Theyll also provide heads up on preventative maintenance coming soon, so you can plan for the expense. My husband agrees: we have definitely found the place to take our vehicles in Kerrville, for everything from oil changes to major repairs!

When I moved to Kerrville eleven years ago I looked for a place to take my vehicles. I wanted to find an honest mechanic that I could do a good job of keeping my vehicles in good running condition. After trying several places I found what I was looking for at Action Automotive. At the present time my vehicles are 15 and 19 years old and still running good. I pull a 5th wheel to Colorado each summer with a 19 year old truck and Im going to California soon in my 15 year old RAV. They do a good job and guarantee their work for a year. I highly recommend Action Automotive to friends.

Being using this place for a while now... The lady who ran the front office is no longer there. My $710 quote turned into $1210 because the new guy misquoted me and then they broke some sensors while making the repairs and charged me for them....Not happy. Guess it time to start looking for a new shop.
