Nice store, nice folks that work there. If I wrote this yesterday, my review wouldve been a 2 or 3, but I have since calmed down and put things in perspective. This Tuesday I ordered some bolts I needed after the guy told me he could get them here by Thursday (yesterday). If there was any doubt, I wouldve just ordered them online and paid for shipping, but he sounded confident. When I went there to pick them up, they hadnt arrived, and he told me the order hadnt been submitted until the day before (Wednesday), and thats why it didnt arrive on time.I realize my order was less than $40 and Fastenal is primarily a B2B company, but it was important to me that these bolts get here on time, since I needed them to put my vehicle back together before going out of town today (Friday). I know things happen and nobody is perfect. All I ask is that if theres a good chance an order will not arrive on the day it is expected, that this is communicated to the customer, no matter how small of an order.FWIW, I was able to find the bolts I needed in stock at a competitors store, so at least it worked out in the end for me.
