After a bad experience at a different store, we looked online for another and found this one nearby. It had good reviews, so we tried it. What a difference! We were pleasantly greeted upon entry, had a short wait, and were then helped by the store manager. He was easily understandable, did our new phone activation, and made the whole experience quite pleasant. We have already returned once to set up another new phone and to change to a different plan more in tune with our needs.
I got very lucky. There was no wait. The rep was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. In and out with a new phone in less than 30 minutes.
Awesome service while purchasing a new phone. Holden (store manager) was so pleasant, very knowledgeable, and patient with all my questions. Downloaded all my info from previous phone to new phone. Great customer service, and no waiting either. Totally great purchasing experience.
I’m posting for my wife’s recent experience. “Wait time was at a minimum and completion of discussing new phone options, deciding on a phone and accessories and having my data transferred to the new phone took less than an hour! That was a real plus. Also, I did not feel pressured and I appreciated hearing my options for phones and payments between the available phones. When selecting a new phone, I prefer an in person experience, rather than online”

PLEASE READ THIS. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION. I will try to be as detailed as possible - hopefully this helps someone in the future.Decided to drive to Kernersville location to get a quote from AT&T for cell phone service as Verizon did not have good service around our house. Was quoted $80.00 plus tax by Alex (after work and autopay discounts) for a 9 GB plan for 2 phones (already paid for) - ended up being cheaper than what we had with Verizon, so we made the switch. First bill was $188. Called the store and the employee told us first bill would be more because Im paying for 1.5 months and the discounts hadnt come through yet. Next bill was $111. Called the store and spoke to the manager at the time, Daniel, and he said the discounts hadnt come out yet, and to let him know if the 3rd bill was overpriced because he could do something about it then. Third bill came out, was still $111. Called Kernersville location, and Alex nor Daniel were working at that location any more so I spoke to the new store manager, Trevor (the worst manager I have dealt with ion my life), and he told me the bill was correct as is. I was livid. Trevor told me the autopay discount was not valid for that plan, and he couldnt do anything to change the price. Trevor told me to speak with Alex or Daniel about it. I called Daniel who is now at the Danville location, and he told me that Kernersville location needs to deal with it, and Alex wouldnt be able to do anything because he was not a manager. So after being pushed off by these guys multiple times, I asked to speak to Trevors direct manager and Trevor refused. I ended up calling AT&T customer service and they told me my next bill would be $80.00 plus tax and I have that conversation recorded. I went back to Kernersville location and showed Trevor the recording - he said that didnt matter. Trevor told me to go back to Verizon - I wasnt about to let them get off that easy. After all this, I was intent in being a thorn in their side until they made this right. I went back to this location MULTIPLE times to get them to own up to this incorrect quote and try to get my money back. While on my way to the store on one of these occasions, I called to speak to the Trevor and I let him know I was on my way to see him. Trevor put me on hold - once I arrived I was still on the phone, and still on hold, and was told that the Trevor was on his lunch break at 4:45pm. I waited 10 minutes for Trevor to come out from the back to speak to me. I WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMER IN THE STORE! I asked Trevor to call his direct manager and let HIM tell me he would not speak to me - Trevor then called his direct manager and guess what... he did speak to me - no thanks to the Trevor. Trevors direct manager offered me a refund for $70.00 and to lower the 9GB to 4GB to get the price down close to what the original quote was. I accepted and told him something needed to be done about those giving out incorrect quotes to get new customers. I was planning on going back to Verizon after this, but my wife would rather have good cell phone service around our house. If it werent for her, Id no longer be with them. This was the worst experience I have had in customer service in my entire life. I am still waiting on the 4th bill so well see if it is even correct this time around. Trevors way of fixing the customers problem was a) leave AT&T and go back to Verizon b) take it up with Daniel and Alex c) its just $30 more, whats the big deal - he literally told me that. That infuriated me - he doesnt know me or know what kind of financial situation I am in. Especially during tough times with this pandemic. I hate that I am staying with AT&T and hope to never deal with their staff again.

I drove past 3 AT&T stores to go to this one due to the high reviews. I was not disappointed. Ryan was extremely helpful and worked with me through a lot of unusual technical issues with my account.He was extremely approachable and was able to recommend various products without trying to forcefully up-sell more expensive ones. Id gladly drive the extra distance again in the future.

If today was a Monday, it would be a mullet! I did an over the phone order last week with customer service.. Received my order today finally and was not able to complete the activation process so I went to the store. The guys there were pretty busy so I looked around, the manager came in from lunch and low and behold we had a glitch! Thankfully he was super patient and tried several different outlets for me to get the correct information going for this entire process. We had a 3 hour round about with customer service and call center and computer help. Finally after 3 hours this man... This wonderful man was able to get my phone working without me having to send it back or without me giving up and going to another provider. Thank you Colby seriously the best customer care experience I’ve ever been involved in.
Austin is an outstanding employee at this AT&T location! He is so smart, witty, and kind. Austin did everything possible to help my daughter-in-law get a new phone and phone line. I am so impressed!!! I highly recommend this AT&T store - and mostly, I recommend Austin - he is wonderful!!!

The guy who originally signed us up was great. Easy to deal with. But if you are thinking about going with AT&T you better hope you dont have to make an insurance claim. The employees are extremely uneducated on how to handle them. And with VERY poor customer service!! They dont have loaner phones (which every other carrier I can think of does). So when you have to make a claim and your phone doesnt work, you are out of luck! You will have to wait who knows how long until your new phone comes in. So therefore AT&T does NOT care about their customers whatsoever! They could care less if your phone is on back order and you have to go without a phone for an extended period of time! Once again, TERRIBLE customer service at this location!!! Once the phones are paid off, i will without a doubt, be going elsewhere!

I had to do a replacement phone for a cracked screen for my Galaxy note 9. I went into the AT&T Kernersville location and was helped by Alejandro. This guy went over and beyond the call of duty to ensure that all my needs were met. Once I got my replacement phone I took it back to this location and he further helped me with the application of a liquid glass screen protector for my phone, He also help me with the transferring of all the apps, pictures, contacts and ect from my old phone to the new phone. He was very patient with me because I am not Tech savvy. He actually stayed over his work shift because I left the protection application in my husbands car and had to run to his job, then come back. He applied the liquid glass to my phone and made sure to tell me to register the product for future reimbursements.His customer service skills were impeccable, Again as well as his patience. I hit went to two other stores in a different city and with the same issue and couldnt get anyone to help me the way Alejando did. I felt as if I was being brushed off at the other locations. I live in Winston-Salem and this store is in Kernersville and I will travel the distance just for the customer service that I received at this location.

Went in to get a broken phone replaced. The staff went over and beyond and not only were outstanding in helping with my phone issue but also with helping me with some other bill related issues I had. I see some others have claimed to have a bad experience at this store, I have been going here for years, sent numerous family and friends in and have never had anything but a great experience. When they have made a mistake (employees are human too) they always work as hard as possible and go out of their way to correct it. Noone has ever mislead me and they are always very honest with me. I believe they had a few new people for a short period after re-opening who did not cut the muster and were gone quickly. The manager does not tolerate misleading customers just to get a sale. I will always go here, the experience is far better than any other ATT store I have been to.

The (attendant) was sitting alone engrossed in tv when I went in to pay the bill, fine but, He could not figure out how to take a cash payment and kept putting the wrong phone number in to find my bill, It seemed he wished I had not come in the store. I interrupting the sports conversation he was watching on tv, much of the time I was wanting to pay and go he continued looking at the tv. I left and had to figure another way to pay the bill,? At one point he said he could not find my account, Im att for 8 years customer? He was unable to properly wait on me and seemed he could care less. Seemed this person has little interest in why he is sitting in this store and hopes you dont come in.

I came into AT&T after Verizon wouldnt work with me to get out of a dud phone they sold me. I was fed up. I researched and found AT&T had better rates and data plans anyhow so I was pleased. When I walked up to the store, I was greeted immediately with sales person Nosh holding the door open for me. No wait time at all. I told him immediately what I wanted- the plan and the phone. My mind was set. Nosh didnt try to upsell me, but instead respected my choices. He told me the benefits of other plans and offers, but was not pushy. He was simply being informative and making sure I knew all my options. Nosh knew what he was doing, which was such a relieving thing, since I didnt have to wait for him to get help figuring out systems or where to locate the phone I wanted. He quickly ported my phone number over and then began to transfer my phone content to my new phone - 1300+ contacts, 1,110+ pictures, and 18 videos!!! A 45 minute transfer due to the sheer amount of data. During that entire time, he made pleasant conversation with me. We discussed the home internet plans they have available, and at the point the manager, Colby, joined our conversation. It was easy to see Colby was on his way home for the day as it was closing time, but just like Nosh, he acted as though I was no inconvenience keeping them late. I told Nosh I wanted some time to think over changing my internet service and asked him to follow up with me on the details (checking for current promos) and I have no doubt I will hear from him soon. Colby was very pleasant, low pressure but naturally able to persuade me towards the internet change, and now Nosh will assistant me with all the follow up and my possible move.I could not have asked for a more pleasant, easy service transfer with staff that i am confident is highly knowledgeable and skilled in their line of business.I felt like a person, almost like a friend, getting special treatment instead of just another customer and another sell.I will certainly go back to Nosh for all my needs and recommend him to everyone! While there, waiting for the transfer to complete, I even texted a friend who had been getting run around at a different location lately and told him to come see Nosh. That speaks volumes!!High quality customer care is what makes for loyal life long customers. With my experience thus far, Im stuck like glue!!

I came to ATT in Kville so frustrated about overages on my bill from my 12 year old YouTube and Facebook enjoyment. Madi and Colby worked with my plan 6 ways from 7 and helped me save at least $30.00 per month. They also educated me on an APP that assist me in controlling the amount of data my son uses on his mobile device. I truly appreciate their time they spent with me and most of all their willingness to help save some money on my bill moving forward.Great Customer Service!

Gave me false information when trying to upgrade, blamed it on new guy in training then after charging me 233$ to return a phone that’s literally less than a month old to upgrade tried to charge me another 74$ so at that point I canceled upgrade and asked to be refunded my money and it literally took over 30 min, horrible customer service and we are headed to Verizon now to switch!!!!!
