We hired M&J Landscaping for fountain start up service. They previously provided irrigation start up, extension of sprinkler system, new irrigation box plus four wooden posts in the raspberry bush area earlier this year.The two employees named Jesus and Pod were wonderful. They were hard working professionals that valued our inputs and wishes. On July 13th, the fountain was power washed, metal edging around the fountain was provided and operational.By that evening, the water level was lowered at an alarming rate. By next morning all water drained.Mario came by to state that its probably due to cracks on the fountain floor and that he would be back with sealant. He never returned as agreed. We emailed and sent text messages only to be ignored.Later, we examined the drain knobs and discovered that one of the two knobs was left open.We closed the two of them, filled the fountain with water and we continued to enjoy the operational fountain.Mario provided only one quote out of three projects he got paid for.

Mario and Jesus recently completed 2 retaining walls for my wife and I that stretched the length of our backyard (~72’) and stood 3.5’ tall. We are very pleased with how they turned out. They both worked extremely hard and took pride in the work they were doing. The turnaround from when they started the project to completion was about 2 weeks and they were at my property every day giving me updates on what was happening. I would recommend them based on their work ethic and quick turnaround.One thing I would ensure you do while working with them though is make sure you are precise on exactly what you want and show pictures. We had to make some adjustments while working with them because of a lack of communication and understanding on what we were looking to do.But again I would definitely recommend M&J Landscaping because of their hard work and diligence to the job.
