I had to click on one star to start a review, really no stars.Customer service at the Kenosha Meijer Optical is below anything I have ever experienced. In particular the Eyeglass Protection Plan that I payed for with a new frame and lens order. It says that if your prescription changes in the first 6 months of your order, you can get replacement lens at 10% of retail price. Well my prescription did change in just under the 6 months. When I inquired at the store I was told that we are only doing 30 days I showed the lady the paperwork I had and still got the same response.It might be 30 days today, but I didnt buy the contract today. They need to honor what they sold.

I only gave 2 stars because the doctor who helped me was quite nice, tho he quit....The 2 girls there are RUDE RUDE RUDE!Arrived 10 min before open snd was the 1st there, 4 people came after 2 whom asked why they werent open and were told We have 2 more minutes..... then, she tried to take people before me when I patiently waited quietly... wow...Went back to get my glasses and JUST AS RUDE! I will find another place for sure... theres plenty who would love my money.

I guess I should have read the other reviews before going. My 8 year old daughter was in tears after being screamed at by one of the girls working here for her mask slightly slipping down while trying on glasses, with me helping her. I think the correct thing to do would be to address the parent if she thought there were an issue, not yell at a child that clearly has their parent directly next to them helping them. The associate threatened to refuse service to us because she was pregnant and could do so. At one point she charged over to us, inches away from our faces and screamed at my daughter. I politely explained we were trying our best to keep the mask up to her eyes, but the glasses slightly slid the mask down when she tried them on. This employee didnt want to listen to anything I had to say and continued screaming. If she was truly concerned for her safety, she should have maintained distancing. My daughter has been in glasses since she was 3 and will probably be scared to go to any place after this. This is clearly an ongoing problem based on other reviews and should be addressed immediately. Meijer staff was appalled at what they whiteness as well as customers that were passing by and at the self checkout. Fortunately, I was able to work with another associate in Meijer optical that was polite after the incident, but had the initial one who continued making rude comments behind us. This will surely be the first and last time I go to this location!

I should have read reviews before I went. It has been a few years since I bought glasses at Meijer and did not have problems, but, I can not say that this time. I was told 14 to 20 days and in fact it was 6 weeks. Every time I called or went in to ask, I got attitude and was told if I did not get a call they were not in. They could not tell me when. I finally got a call and went to pick them up, got attitude again and asked why 6 weeks. I was told there was an issue with the lenses and had to redo. I got no call to notify me of this and she told me they tell customers 3 to 4 weeks to get glasses. I informed her what I was told and she told me I was wrong. If I had known it would be 6 weeks, I would have gone anywhere else. Please save yourself the aggravation and go someplace else. Something drastic needs to change there.

Lexi was so helpful today. My glasses broke and she was so kind to fix them. She was friendly, pleasant kind and so quick. I highly recommend Meijer Optical and if you are lucky you will get to work with Lexi.

The staff was not friendly on the phone. I understand policy with expired prescriptions and a way to ensure that patients have follow up appointments; however the staff was very unprofessional when we requested a copy. She explained that they would mark it as expired and if any other office called to confirm they would tell them it was expired and we would not be able to get it filled for new glasses. We were not trying to scam the system but wanted to obtain for medical records for our daughter. Came off very accusatory and would not recommend for your vision needs.

The actual eye doctor was great and very sweet. But the girl that helped me with my glasses I feel took advantage of me. I have vision insurance and the coupon for two pair of glasses for $99 and i still ended up paying $491. I bought two cheap pair of glasses. I feel that they get commission and I feel that I was taken advantage of. I also feel that my glasses are blurry.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I am looking at all the reviews below me and can see they all have had all the same terrible service I had.I am NEVER one to complain and call the district but this kind of ignorance, and how RUDE these two “ladies” were was beyond me and there wasn’t an ounce of me that thought to not call and make sure they knew how their employees were acting towards their customers. For how many complaints are on this page, these two girls should not have a job anymore and I would suggest they don’t get a job that consists of dealing with human interaction because they certainly do not have the decency to be around others.Shame on you Meijer optical for keeping such ignorant staff after seeing all these complaints

This place sucks. I cant remember if it was 4 or 5 times I had to go back because the glasses I got were always blurry when I picked them up. Finally I told them to keep them and give me a refund. I was also getting tired of looking at them. They are not very friendly either. Waste of time. Go elsewhere. Really NO stars.
