My son and I attended Carls pistol class and he went above to help . Already signed up for another class.

I recently purchased a new handgun after not handling one in 25yrs. I reached out to Carl as my goal was not only become familiar with the gun but take the necessary steps to become proficient in using it. Carl did a great job in helping me become comfortable and very familiar with my guns use. He definitely help me improve my ability in a short period of time. I highly encourage all new gun owners (or experienced) to get in contact with Carl to help you QUICKLY achieve your goal to be proficient in your weapon. Getting a gun is a good 1st step, getting expert training in how to use it is the next step!! Ill be following up with Carl for more lessons soon.

This was the best decision ever, the whole day was great. The class was very very informative, Carl is simply amazing to say the least. He went above and beyond the standards for this class and taught me and my husband so much! We got a lot of range time in and the range he uses is amazing too. They are sure to make you comfortable in the classroom so you don’t tire out or get bored, Carl is great at keeping you entertained with his frequent sarcasm. I loved the day we spent here learning! It is well worth your money, they do not disappoint!

Great Instuctor! Wouldnt recommend anyone else to go to. Carl is very knowledgeable and capable of making you a more confident shooter. If you are looking to learn about gun safety or something more advanced, start at hirts defensive solutions. You wont be disappointed. I know I will be taking more of his classes in the future.

I took two different pistol courses with Hirt’s Defensive Solutions LLC. Carl is a phenomenal instructor. Show up with an open mind and you will walk away from his course a better shooter. Hirt is the best NRA Training Consular I have ever had the privilege to have train under. He kept the attention of the class and We safely made our way thru the courses of fire. Im looking forward to my next class with HDS!

As an NRA Instructor myself I’ve been through many courses of study over the years, I just completed the new NRA CCW course with Carl @ Hirt’s Defensive Solutions. Allow me the opportunity to share my experience. The required course of study for me was understanding the Basic CCW student material and then what I’d need to know and do to teach the NRA material to citizen defenders. Let me tell you Carl pushed my abilities as an instructor and shooter to the breaking point. Carl wanted to show us just how good we thought we were and how good we actually are. There is a difference! I came away from this course with a better understanding of who I am as a defensive instructor and my own areas of need. We all develop training scars over time (I found mine), Carl helped me find and improve my abilities. I can’t thank him enough for his instruction.
