The technician they sent to my home is AWESOME! He has visited my home twice and both times he has been so pleasant. The first time he installed a new garage door opener for my family. It is soooo quiet. During the visit, he made some recommendations to ensure the opener and door would work for many more years. He showed me how to work the controls and explained about the use of the app for door opener.On his second visit, he made some repairs to my garage door to make it function smoother and more quieter than it already was. There were issues on the first installation with my new door, but I contacted Clear Choice and explained what was wrong and that I was not satisfied with the installation. The owner came out personally and made corrections to the door and now it is perfect. I am very happy that he took me seriously and came back out to correct the problems. OUTSTANDING SERVICE! Heres my story about garage door installation companies. Im a Army Veteran so I try to support veteran owned businesses. Initially, I called another company and the tech arrived and first misdiagnosed the problem. Second, he quoted me $725 for Lift Masters entry level chain opener. I dont know much these install guys are getting paid, but I know these Lift Masters dont come with 18K gold components. I quickly pushed the pause button and searched the web and found One Clear Choice (Thank God I did!). First, transparent pricing. What you see is what you get. Second, putting 2&2 together, they dont hire contractors, my installer is a full-time employee of the company (and very good at what he does!). His professionalism and attention detail were also great. Very thorough walking me through the technology (ie wifi, camera, opener, ect.). When the world finds out about One Clear Choice there wont be any other garage installation companies and Im dead serious, they are that good!

Chris showed up when he said he would and did the repairs as requested. Upon an overall inspection, he found a part, at installation from another company, was backwards. He corrected and went on to explain what will need to be done in the future and measures I can take to keep the doors running correctly. He was thorough, courteous, and detail oriented. I will use One Clear Choice again as the need arises.

Eric knew what he was doing. He repaired the electronic eye that we had broken and changed out the springs that were not adequate for our garage door. Everything works as it should including being able to open and close the door when there is no power. Pricing seemed reasonable.

Great company that does great work. They are upfront about prices, do high quality work and answer calls quickly. I have had a few issues but it was Liftmaster issues not with their service. That is always on point.

While this company did, to my current knowledge, install my door properly, there was considerable confusion about the final charges I paid. The original quote did not include “labor charges” that were tacked on at the end. The words “labor charge” were never discussed or mentioned by the estimator. While the installers tried to act as though this was a misunderstanding or miscommunication, I believe there was a systematic attempt by the company to hide certain fees, which were pretty large. In the end, the door was replaced but my trust in the company was broken. I would think twice before using this company again.UPDATE: I received a phone call from the business office of One Clear Choice to inform me that I had, in fact, been overcharged over $300 for my garage door and installation. He explained that I had been charged twice for the installation fee and that the error occurred because they recently switched billing systems, one in which labor was included in the price and one where labor is added. He was gracious and immediately refunded my $300+ dollars to my account. So I am raising my review from 3 stars to 4 stars.

2nd door installation update: We got lucky with ordering the 2nd door when we did; after the storm in Texas, new doors are taking as much as 12-months to deliver. We were again fortunate to have Eric do the installation, very similar to the first one. Although no two openings are perfectly aligned, he worked to ensure the aesthetics looked right and got the door completed on a beautiful sunny day. Initially, they replaced two openers with original 40+ year old doors; once one of those doors broke, we ordered a replacement. Due to Covid-induced product delays, that door has been delivered/installed after a 2.5 month delay. After another excellent interaction, we ordered the second door, expecting another 2.5 month delay.

Garage door unexpectedly failed to close today. I knew the opener was working, but was pretty sure it was the safety eyes that were either out of alignment or gone bad. I called One Clear Choice about 2pm, and a service technician was at my house before 4pm. In the meantime the customer service rep on the phone walked me through a few diagnostic steps to help determine what the likely problem was. Fortunately I didnt need a new opener, but for the minimum $69 service charge the technician realigned the safety eyes, tightened bolts, checked springs, and lubricated the rollers. I was very happy with the prompt service, the ethical treatment (not up selling me more than I needed), and the expertise of the technician. When the time comes to replace the opener, I will definitely call One Clear Choice. Thank you!

One Clear Choice Garage Door Company advertise they will be any legitimate offer by $100. I provided one clear choice with the other offers I received. They not only bettered the offer buy $100, they also offered a better insulated door and a more powerful motor with Wi-Fi capabilities.

I called One Clear Choice (OCC) because I was having issues with my door not closing all the way and constantly reopening. They were able to have a technician out the next day! The technician, Ty, was very professional and friendly. I showed him the issue and he was able to diagnose it immediately and suggested the best options for replacement parts. After that, Ty replaced all of the roller, completed his inspection, and was done in less than 45 minutes!! He later explained to me any maintenance things I should be aware of and answered all my questions about garage doors and openers. Thank you Ty and OCC.
