Just purchased my rainsoft equipment a few months ago. My family and I are super happy everything! We purchased the whole house package, so Ill go over any pros and cons all around. The whole house system is absolutely great, compared to competitors who are a fraction of the price of the one we purchased this system was well worth it both on warrenty sid3 and functionality. The airmaster we purchased because of having big hairy dogs, which again amazing and can tell a total difference. The cleanstart for our washer amazing no laundry detergent and the whitest socks Ive ever personally had and last but not least the reverse osmosis and whats not to love even more refined for drinking. We purchased this one mostly due to my previous surgeries I have had. Cons: the initial presentation was a little lengthy but well worth it and very thorough. That was my only negative but I can deal with that. We love our system and have recieved nothing but the best from start to finish

We had two parts break on our system and they came right out to fix. One of the parts they had to take with them (clean start) and it has been over a year and they have not returned it. They have horrendous communication skills. The kind that make you want to jump in front of a car. Don’t work with them unless you’re okay with servicing your own equipment, and appreciate empty promises and theft.

We had a wonderful experience with Rainsoft, and love the product! The rep who did our free water testing was so knowledgeable and honest. We also received a gift card for Home depot for completing the test. The only reason for the 4 stars is the 3rd party install company, I wasnt personally thrilled with. They were hard to understand throughout the process and just took a lot longer than we had planned on. However, the soap lady that came out to see us was absolutely amazing. She was very apologetic about the install company and let us know they are working with them, and have been doing great as being taught how Rainsoft handles business with customer. So huge relief right there. The soaps were a little different to get used to only because we use a lot less than before, but we have noticed a huge difference in my daughters ezceema which was a relief.I would recommend this product to everyone, because everyone will benefit in some way. We will be adding additional equipment they offer later on. Glad we made the decision!

Everyone is so knowledgeable and friendly. I have had my system for just a little over 2 months now and I absolutely love it! I have 4 dogs at home and the airmaster I have is GOD SENT! The air in my home is noticeably fresher. I will be telling all my friends about this system! Bruce was also great at giving me good pricing and by the time we got off of the phone I felt like we had been friends for years! LOL!!

We purchased this $7000 system in 2013 after having our water tested from a kit at home depot in Cedartown, Ga. When the salesman came out and gave us his spiel, he told us that if we sold our home they would move the unit twice over the lifetime of ownership. So...we sold our home and finally purchased our dream home on the creek and called to have our system moved with us. When I explained to Fran what the salesman had told us, she became a bit belligerent and said they dont do that but she would check the contract. I went and got my own copies and looked them over and sure enough the salesman did not write that down. I assumed since he told us that it was standard for your company. My bad for trusting the salesman, right? I waited for Fran to call me back and that did not happen, so I called her. I told her that I could not find it in the contract and she informed me that the salesman would have had to write that down as they have to pay for that themselves if that is what they promise. I find that a bit strange. Anyway, she then informed me that is was going to be a disconnect fee and then $150 per hour to reinstall, plus $250 for a new pressure regulator. I was furious with the company and myself for trusting the salesman to be honest and expecting the company to stand behind the word of the salesman they employ. I let her know that I was going to contact the home office and I was told that you would do nothing to help me since the contract does not have what we were told. So I have paid the disconnect fee and have moved the system to my new home. I waited for 3 weeks for the young man to contact me set it back up. I have sent about 15 test messages, have been stood up twice and now ...NOTHING. I have a $7000 paper weight at this point. I cant tell you how disappointed I am with this company. The system is fantastic and I do not regret the purchase, but if I cant get it up and running in our new home, what is the point. Customer service is the pits.

One star is being generous. We originally bought our system in Wilmington, NC. We had WCW install it once we moved to Dallas, Ga. Their technician didn’t take our water pressure reading and the machine malfunctioned causing us to have 2 $500+ water bills. After a plumber coming out here on Christmas Day to find the cause we let their dealership know. We were told to forward all info to the VP Jeff Pendleton. After we did so we were ghosted. Nothing at all. We had $1500 in water bills, plumbing fees and damages to our home because of an $8000 system they installed (for $400 nonetheless). Corporate has since reimbursed us a whopping $400 when our water bills alone was more than that. Jeff says they won’t reimburse our plumbing fee of $350 because we didn’t contact them first. Because on Christmas Day they were open (NOT!) and we were suppose to let the leak continue and have an even higher water bill or damages. I will never use their office, or recommend rain soft to ANYONE I know.

One star is too many.I spoke with what I was told was a college student at Home Depot! He told me he was doing something for school. He told me all I had to do was answer a few questions and I would get a $20.00 gift card. Since I was new to the area, I thought it wouldnt hurt to have my water tested. The next day I got a call from a woman who scheduled an appointment for someone to come out to my house to do a demonstration. About 1 hour later a guy called me ( I cant use the word gentleman) to confirm our appointment the next day. He was to be at my house at 6pm. I waited and waited and he was a no call and a no show. I got the number for Jim from Home Depot to call to find out what happened. Jim told me he would look into it and get back to me the next day and that he would send a $20.00 gift card. He never called back and never sent a card. I called him again about 2 weeks later. He said he remembered who I was and that they just sent my gift card the other day and I should get that in the mail any day now. He also told me the guy that never showed up said he came and I wasnt home. Lie! Another 3 weeks later and I still havent received the card. I wouldnt use them if I had mud coming out of my faucet. They are Unprofessional, unreliable and i believe a BIG SCAM!! I think Home Depot should get rid of them.

The product is good but the service is horrible. They lied to me about the financing. They called and got a home depot card in my name for me to finance. I never spoke to the credit card people. The rainsoft employee told me what my payment would be which was $50 a month. It was only that for 6 months and then jumped to $327 a month. They also told me they would move my system for me once for free if I moved houses. They now tell me it will cost me $150 just to uninstall and the even more to reinstall.Bottom line is the product is good the employees lie about everything just to make a sale.

This was such a horrible experience with this rainsoft soft contractor. The technician who came out to install the system was pretty cool. The customer service is horrible my system was leaking the very next morning after installation. Contacted the technician back he said he will fix it with some JB weld. We told him no we did not want to do that we want to repair the system properly. The system had been leaking 1 to 2 gallons of water a day into my house. It is 3 weeks later system is still leaking 1 to 2 gallons of water a day on to our floors. WCW air say we are now binded by contract and only thing they offer us was free filters to make the situation better. This company customer service are great big liars and the attitude is horrible. Someone in a office hung up on me twice while trying to get the situation taken care of. I called the company for days did not get a answer. They come out with this elaborate scheme to get you to buy in to it and then hold you off until you are binded by the contract and then they turn it back on you. We have legally not even sign a contract yet and it says on the invoice that we can have to system remove but they refused to remove it only offer to give us free filters and once we contact home depot they have done nothing to help us as well. Stay away from this company they are liars and deceivers. The sale person told us we will receive a lifetime supply of cleaning supplies detergents and other items and found out that to be false. After reading the reviews that technician even told us that they will moved assistant full free twice and I see that that is a lie. After speaking to Jeff he threw his technician under the bus and said he was not that good of a installer when it comes to the systems and that is probably the reason why it was leaking.

Our system was purchased a couple years ago. I had some suspicions when we received a call to have our water test done from a survey we did in Home Depot. My mind was at ease knowing the company was connected with Home Depot. Anyways everything turned out to be excellent and Im so happy we took the dive into going forward with the water testing and purchase of our system. The water Rep that came out was great, he did a full test of our water and it was very interactive, having us touch and taste. When it got to the end of course knowing there was a selling point coming. We arleady knew we wanted to buy something to fix this issue. I told him he could stop and give it to me haha. He was super sweet though, not pushing the sale because it was something people should need rather than want. The second part was the installation, which went very well. It was quick and easy. It didnt require us to do Anything. The last part was the financing, his part went just as well as the others. The soap girl, got our kids involved in picking out our soap fragrances and having fun with them, which as a mom purchasing a system like this was a huge relief. The financing part of the whole or deal was easy as well, my payment was kept low just as the rep from the beginning promised it would be. Afterwards the soap lady tested my water to ensure me after they installed that everything was to our liking, and went over they equipment in full detail in words we could understand too! Im very happy to be a Rainsoft customer, we did however research other water companies just to be sure we were making the right decision. Although a little more than expensive, I do believe given everything we got from warranty down to soaps and customer service it is well worth it to us... I guess you get what you paid for.I dont se how to add pictures, but we did the whole shabang and loving everything. We have two furry furry dogs and the odor is so much better. For our little ones the laundry machine part doesnt require any detergent, which was so hard to get used to but I believe it now that I have tried it instead of just hearing it from someone selling it, the water taste and feels amazing as well.

Great product, very poor customer service. Background: Home Depot offered a $20 gift card for listening to an at home presentation for water treatment through RainSoft (WCW & AIR INC).Issues:-The sales process took 4 hours and the sales person doing the demonstration used many scare tactics to show us how harmful the water we drink is (We have a background in doing drinking water related work so we know a decent amount about water analysis and testing).-Watch out for the tests they perform at your home. They over exaggerate the results for some of the tests and they do improper titration (hardness, chlorine test). This is not to say that they are totally wrong. Soft water and dechlorinating extends the life of many equipment and has health benefits.-The order originally did not include all of the products we paid for. We had to call the regional manager to double check and be informed of what products/models we were getting and ensure it was being recorded on the order.-The Southeastern manager will tell you that he will call back shortly but most of the time he wont.-They did not have one of our purchased items onsite during the installation so the install itself took over 8 hours (We had water at one point during the day so we could still use the bathroom; at the 4 hour mark). This was still very inconvenient as we have a newborn to take care of. The issue was resolved only after we made several phone calls regarding our treatment unit (QSR).-No compensation or remedy for the botched installation and forgetting about one of the items we paid for.Overall, unless you are able to get the equipment for a very good price, we would not recommend their services. You can have just as good a water system by going through another company or doing it yourself. Just make sure you are comfortable with plumbing and some electrical.
