I send everyone and anyone to see the folks over at Kerr Car Care. All of my customer vehicles that need mechanical work come here. I also take all of my personal vehicles here as well!These guys are the most honest mechanics in town. I have tried almost EVERYONE locally and these guys really set the bar. Not one shop has even came close to the amount of care that they put into your vehicle. I have never been hit with random charges that leave me questioning my invoice and they are always fair. They dont take advantage of customers and treat everyone with respect. Renee in the office really knows her stuff! Richard is a mechanical genius and their staff are all really sharp! Their business name sums up what they do. Youre not just another dollar.

Had crossovers welded on my Porsche 911 mufflers, welds looked like someone did it in their back yard not a professional shop. Owners didn’t seem to care either.(Response to the owners comment - the mufflers are worth 5x what you charged me, I would have paid $150+ for a quality job. Money isn’t the issue, it’s the fact you should feel embarrassed letting my mufflers leave your exhaust shop like that)

They fixed my AC in my mercedes last summer and it worked excellent.

Not happy about the work that was done. On my 1950 Chevy truck. The pipes were mounted on 25 yr old pipe. Gas lines are on top of my rear end.

Id give 4 stars for auto repair and 5 stars for exhaust work. I base that on their auto repair is good, but so are a few other places in town. Their exhaust work is perfection and the best in town.So 4.5 stars overall, IMO. Since its not possible for me to give 4.5 stars, I rounded up and gave 5 stars.

Cruddy work. Doesnt usually do exactly what they say they will do. Told me my engine was bad when it was something that didnt even concern my engine. Good thing I took my car to a real mechanic that new what he was talking about before I spent thousands on my car to spend another $200 on the actual problem. If I could give 0 stars, i would. Nice people and nice cars. Just Cruddy work. If your oil pump is going out, theyll tell you that its your engine and charge you thousands of dollars for a new engine and labor and it still wouldnt fix your problem. I was told the engine of my old car was going out and got rid of it for $100, when I had a buyer wanting it for $1900, so i told them a rod broke loose (as i was told by the shop) and then later found out it was just the oil pump. So, kinda feeling robbed here. I got the oil pump for my other car, so now my car will run great. Ya know, since the engine is perfectly good :)

I used to be a mechanic so I know what its like. Kerr Car Care is the only place that I will take any of my vehicles to. I highly recommend them. Ive had them do work on one of my vehicles they did a very good job On the few things that I had them do however I took my truck in there for an exhaust job that was over $600 the stainless tips rusted after driving in the first rain and then they cut a chunk out of the frame on my truck WITHOUT my permission or even telling me I had to find out when I Was under there doing my next oil change Richard claimed that I would have the best exhaust job Ive ever had. He also claimed before doing the exhaust job that the crossover had been installed by the last technician in the wrong place and that he would fix this no surprise he or his technician put a new crossover in exactly the same place. This was by far the worst exhaust job I have ever had and I had such high hopes because all of the other work that I had them do was so good and they seem like such nice people I contacted them about this after finding it and Richard refused to call me back to talk about it. This happened back in like 2013 and I am still fuming mad even today. The poor job on the exhaust wasnt even what made me mad I can have some one else fix that but cutting my frame come on man did you forget it wasnt your truck or something thats just disrespectful and I trusted you.

I brought my car in here to check for an exhaust leak. He spent a half an hour checking my car out and didnt find one. It turned out to be something else but he set me on the right track and didnt charge me. I will be back should I encounter a repair I do not feel comfortable doing myself. They are honest people and I highly recommend this place, especially if youre on a budget and want a fair estimate.

Im have some problems with the muffler banging around, the hangers werent replaced in the same place, and a little lower.

About 2 years ago I had some work done here, ie new muffler and a 40,000 mile rebuilt engine and transmission. I just had to replace the muffler, when Kerr Car Care pulled the old one off I needed them to weld the new one to the pipe that was already their. I could not afford all new pipe. Just one month ago the muffler was making a horrible noise, so I had a local shop look at it. When Kerr Car Care (Richard Kerr) fixed the muffler they missed the weld on the pipe by 1/8th of an inch, in turn it never sealed and corroded the muffler. Therefore I had to put a brand new one on. When they put the rebuilt engine and transmission in, first they stated there was a 90 day warrenty then it went to a 30 day after the work. Their first mistake was leaving a motor mount off and we had to take it back less than a week later. Richard tried to charge me for this part. Then about 6 weeks later I started to have electrical issues. I have spent over 800 dollars trying to fix this issue. Replacing the voltage regulator, engine coil (and ground), starter twice, alternator twice, battery twice, I even took out my sound system thinking that was it. Come to find out when they installed the rebuilt engine they used a bolt that was too long as the bolt for the engine ground. The ground was moving around as I drove the car causing all of the eletrical part to ground only through the battery ground. I am a single mother and this mistake has cost me greatly, I WILL NEVER SEND ANYONE TO THIS SHOP EVER!!!!!!! Even when you try to talk to Richard Kerr, his wife Renee Kerr is very rude telling me that it will do no good to talk to Richard due to the fact that the work was done 2 years ago.... it took me this time to find the problems!!!! Dont let there shop do this to you. The muffler took this long to corrode so how is that my fault???

Muffle Hut denied my mother a sales receipt because they discounted her approximately a little under $14. They agreed they would give her a small discount (the tax amount) and after she paid they told her they could not give her a reciept because she did not pay tax??This is very unprofessional especially since it was the owners ( a husband and wife) who my mother dealt with.
