I was reading the reviews from many of your customers who found your work and service excellent and thought I’d put my not so good experience out here to see if it was just an off day or something. I’d bought a Mac mini from you a few years ago and felt at the time that the gentleman selling it to me was impatient and dismissive but I ignored it. This past year I brought my iPhone in because it had stopped ringing when the outgoing call was to a land line. But went thru if it was to a cell phone. The employee took my phone and called someone in the back. It rang and he Said There’s nothing wrong with this phone (not very politely) and did not listen to me when I asked if he’d call a cell or land line. And was walking out on my while I was trying to explain that I’d tested it plenty before coming in, but he’d left. I went to my cell phone service provider and the folks there experimented with it and were mystified as to why it did not ring on their land line. They were cheerful and tried a lot of things and finally set me up to get my phone replaced. I have not returned to your Keene Store since.

I dropped my brand new MacBook Air and came her to replace it. The customer service was great and they answered all of my questions. It was a very affordable price for a smashed up screen, and they replaced it within literally 48 hours. They were also the only place open on a Sunday and I appreciated that more than anything.

Couldnt be happier with my experience today at Brown Computer Solutions. iPhone wouldnt charge and critical data stored in an app seemed to be gone. The staff member who helped was super professional and knew how to resolve the problem within moments. Highly recommended.

Wont take my laptop anywhere other than this place! Ive had to bring my MacBook to them twice within the past couple years due to hardware malfunctions and every time they are so extremely helpful. They really know their stuff, and they are able to do repairs very quickly and at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend these guys if you are having any trouble with your Apple products!!

Took a Macbook there that was 7 years old. Its past the point where they could get replacement parts for it. Over 2 business days, they ran diagnostics and were able to repair it by reinstalling the OS at nominal cost. Received an email and a call when the repair was complete. Staff was knowledgeable and professional. I especially like their new location on Key - much better parking situation. Highly recommended!

The owner, Patrick, was rude to my children, while his employee couldn’t help me turn off a feature that needed to be turned on to start the repairs.Instead of just trying to show me how to do something - the owner told me he will throw me out of the store. Tried to explain that I only have my cellphone and no landline and no other way of accessing the web, but the owner said they couldn’t care less and they can’t accommodate me!!!Rude, coarse, unfriendly to say the least!!!!

Well, I dont know about Trauma Informed Support, but we have always found Brown Computer to be the most responsible and honest source for all of our equipment and support. In an industry full of pretenders and mis-information we have relied on Browns for over 20 years of flawless support.

Absolutely horrible... I had an appointment with them scheduled by Apple and when I went they were much less helpful than the first day I went. My iPhone 5s has died completely and they told me to call Apple and reset my apple ID and come in and turn off find my iPhone. Went in and didnt even do what they said they were going to do which was update the software through iTunes. Guess you can only go to a real apple store.

Competent and attentive staff. Not trauma informed - I left with the impression that profits are preeminent, not people (I purchased stuff from this business). Incredibly disappointed. Total lack of understanding of how people with trauma respond to technology.

Took my broken iPhone in and was told it could not be fixed and that they could order me a replacement phone for $350 that would be available in about three days. Took it to Campus Mobile Repair across from Keene State and they fixed it on the spot for $120. I question Browns knowledge and/or integrity.

My four year old mac seemed to be possessed - cursor moving randomly, items on my desktop opening up at random, new folders getting created. I took it to Brown Computer (no relation to me) expecting to have to buy a new one. Within minutes a tech person had talked with me, diagnosed the issue - a faulty track pad - and found they had the needed part for replacement at a fair and reasonable price. They worked on it right away, and in about two hours I had my computer back in working order. Thank you! When this old computer does finally go kaput, Ill be back to buy a new one from them.

I have made purchases as well as had my computer serviced, both in Keene and in Bratt. Friendly staff, cheerful, knowledgeable w/o being pushy. What got me in the best way was when the guy said, welcome back when he looked up my name and found me in the database as a past customer. If I knew the guys name, Id mention it here.

Ive come in a few times for issues with my macbook. These guys are a great resource. Its wayyyy better to go to Brown than an apple store in a big city. These guys are really nice and know your stuff. Support local and buy from them!

All the techs are very nice. But most of all, fixed my sons Iphone with ease and at a nice price. They were extremely informative over some questions I had over old forum comments about the specific version of iphone. I highly recommend Brown Computer Solutions. They know their stuff.

Id give this place zero stars if I could. They replaced my macbook hard drive back in September but then it died after it turned on once. Completely random. Only turned it on once. I needed it for a class so I brought it back and told them the problem and my situation and they told me it would be 100 dollars labor charge to fix the corrupted software they put on it.I feel like they will deliberately do a half assed job repairing your stuff just so they can squeeze more money out of you. I got my laptop fixed by my redneck pothead friend for a couple beers. Guess what? My laptop still works.

I had a very small problem with my iPhones charging port having lint in it. I took it in and they knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it, and since it was a small fix, it was no charge! I highly recommend Brown Computing Solutions for any problems you have with your phone, tablet, laptop, or computer and I will definitely be back to purchase any accessories I may need for the technology. Awful service. Went for help for a phone issues and said they couldnt fix it because of the damage on the screen and said i need a new phone. But to a different store and they said there was barley an issue and they could fix it for cheap. So kinda pissed that i was told to buy a new phone when all i needed was a new screen

My touchpad failed, the salesman took a look and somehow discovered a drop of water on my trackpad that came out of nowhere. I had already consulted with a couple of techie friends about my issue and there had been no evidence of any liquid of any kind. I transported my computer in a laptop bag directly from my techie friend to Brown computer where the liquid somehow magically appeared. They then tried to sell me a $$$$ computer.. SCAMMERS!!My trackpad issue was resolved for under $10 once one other friend was able to help me out.

Arrogant, deceitful and altogether to be avoided. I have 4 Apple devices from phone, pad, MacBook and iMac but this place put a huge crack in my esteem for Apple. My advice: go to Best Buy for Apple sales and service.
