Amazing store!The store was very organized and clean. You can find almost anything from school supplies to house decorations.There are a lot of products you wont find anywhere. They have created all this stuff you dont even know you need and you have never imagine.They also have snacks.

A wonderful store with a ton of goods for every need. After visiting the location in San Francisco Japan-town, learning I had not one but TWO locations here in my hometown was more than enough to send me to both. The Katy location is the older store but you wouldnt know walking in. Its so clean, well-stocked, and just a great overall experience. Make sure you swing by here for school supplies, or before you go pickup any little trinkets on Amazon. You can bet they will have what you need first.

Daiso is a fun store that transports you to a little bit of Japan. Prices are in yen (but theres handy charts to help you convert). I would say its a slightly higher end (and cuter) dollar tree. I love the stationary and snacks aisles. There are also fairly priced kitchen, craft, and cleaning items.

Special products designed in Japan you wont find anywhere else too.Daiso die soh is Japans most popular dollar store and it is so great to be able to have access to them in Texas.

Its a neat little japanese dollar store. I would love to have more selection but I guess its ok for the occasional visit.

First visit. Very neat and clean store. Lots of stationary type and gift wrapping items. Toys, makeup, tool box items, dishes, storage items, snacks, etc. A lot of the shelves seemed to be emptied of their wares, so would like to be there when theyre stocked up again. Will definitely be back.

I must prefer this Daiso over the one located in Houston. This one seems less cramped and offered many more stuffed animals. Cute items for great prices. The items are also pretty good quality despite the lower prices. I highway recommend especially if you love cute/kawaii type items!

Good selection of family everyday items from pen to dishes. I like their selection of bins to help organize pantry and their Japanese cups and bowls are quite nice too (much cheaper than buying from Amazon).

This place is so cute! my friend used to work here and if you need a job i wouldn’t really recommend this place because of the skeleton shifts but as a first job it would probably be nice. now that the minimum wage might be raising especially! its got a lot of fun trinkets and stuff but no bathroom also, which can sometimes be frustrating, but just know that before coming.

This is better than the other one in the Houston area. Seems bigger and better stocked.

No returns or exchanges on ANYTHING.Good variety of merchandise. Very different than Dollar Tree. Decent customer service.Always crowded with shoppers who seem to think their the only ones in they store, whom also have no shopping etiquette and on top of that traveling 3 generations deep.Nice supplies for your camping bag, bug-out bag or SHTF supplies all for $1.50 each in photos.

This is one of the most convenient stores available in US from Japan 🇯🇵😆 !! The products are in good shape and good quality and the price is very economical! Most of them are $1.5. If you need a small stuff and are looking for a shopping place, I would recommend you to come here. It has little bit of everything as long as you are looking for essential products wise. Plus you’ll get to see some fun stuffs/snacks from Japan 🇯🇵 as well! Come and shop and enjoy! Cheers

Asian version of dollar store but hardly anything is a dollar, so its like your typical dollar tree/general store but nicer and more variety.especially more Asian stuff, from food to knick knacks!

Awesome store! Forget the usual 1.00 stores, this place is waaay better all the way around.Im not sure of its background but I believe Daiso is a Japanese chain store. It is very bright, cheerful and clean. Not dingy and trashy like the average dollar store. There are tons of useful and novelty items. Makes for fun browsing. The prices are fair and store is full of great buys.Note: The pricing threw me off on my first visit but its really very simple. Items that do not have yen price tags are 1.50 each and items with yen pricing are to be converted to US Dollar using the conversion charts posted throughout the store.

Think of this place as a Japanese Five Below but better! They have a wide selection of items from food to houseware! There is some many unique items that you will find and most of it is less than $5!!

I’ve been counting down the days until this store was opened! It felt like forever when I saw a “Daiso coming soon” sign in front of the vacant lot. After a long day at work, I had to take my son and I to the store. The place was incredibly clean and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. The store has a variety of products ranging from beauty supplies to home goods at reasonable prices. Majority of the items are priced at $1.50 but there are a few items that are priced higher. I came back a few days later with my best friend and he couldn’t get over how cute the store looked. I’ll definitely be coming back for sure!

The Japanese guy with a glasses can be really stiff and unwilling to help. Being nice and courteous is conditional depending on whoever the cashier on that day likes certain customer which is a type of discrimination. Also, the bento items can be really expensive for the serving size not to mention the price of other items get raised without notice.

Clean and cute. after hearing about daiso I drove over an hour to this location to visit for the first time. they DO have a lot of cute stationary and beauty supplies you cant really get at a standard us dollar store, but a lot of their items are really flimsy and over priced. their snacks are very pricey, 2-4$, if it were more local for me it would definitely be a fun trip every now and then, but its not road trip worthy. I did get a lot of stationary with parrots, specifically cockatiels on it, and thats honestly 100% the reason I came here. the store is like 20% cute stuff and the rest is just home goods and beauty.

This Japanese dollar store (a.k.a 100 yen shop) has a large selection of quality items that are really practical. Their seasonal items are cute as well. The store was clean and the staff was friendly.

Cute everything. Useful items for the household and office. Baking supplies section is surprising variety. Impressed. I will be back to get some snacks and get Pocky boxes. The flavor selection will leave you with a smile.

I loved absolutely everything in the store and went over board on buying cute and amazing things.

I used to really love this place it still is pretty awesome and you can still find some great stuff there. But their prices have gone up and a lot of the stuff kind of just isnt worth it anymore its still great stuff but you go there everything used to be a $1.50 now everythings $2 and $3 and $5. Kind of left a sour taste in my mouth this time.

This is the second store in Houston, and personally my go to! Majority of the items is 1.50 and at most can go up to 10 dollars. A great place if you wanna get cheap Japanese products and stationary if youre in Katy!

The store is big and well-organized. I got help from a lady staff. She was so nice to me and she assisted me how to find the product. She also took time to take the storage for me if that item was available. Overall, good experience at this store.

Used to shop there in Japan. I get all sorts of things in there. The Japanese have all sorts of products for organizing and cleaning. Bought laundty bags with zippers so no more lost socks. They have some food and a section of Japanese things. Went to get a Bento box for lunches today. Cool stpre.

I love Daiso! Great selection of items from Japan, many which we dont have in American stores. I love how simple the pricing is. No label is $1.50 and anything else with a price is basic math, example 200¥ is like $2 or you can read the chart.
