Simply Splendid the Name it self explains. Delicious items on menu. Enjoyed each bite plus it’s halal . Very welcoming customer service. They have a lot of items in Menu and they are in a process to Print. I have posted some items with price !

We went today and really enjoyed Halal Kolaches and other items. It’s a new management and everything they have is Halal. Owners are so humble and gave us many items they are now introducing complimentary. Jumbo Smoky and Cinnamon Rolls were outstanding. Highly recommended and we will go again soon.

Today i tried this places, bun kabab, samose, chicken cone and spicy chicken. Everything was too delicious and specially the spicy chicken, its a must try one. Will definitely go again

It’s appalling to me how people can give these establishments 1 star reviews for what they “think” has expired or haven’t spoken to the owners properly to try and rectify any issues they may personally have.This place has amazing kolaches (halal), and fresh, light donuts. We tried the brisket, and jalapeño croissants (they add cheese and jalapeño to the sausage) which is enough of a flavor boost without the cheese overburdening the taste. Croissants are fresh - you’ve got (I think) 2-3 days to eat this so I know it’s not chock full or preservatives. Nice people. They try to make you happy. Will be returning

LOVE THIS NEW PLACE!!! There’s a big variety especially when you are able to have anything on the menu since it is all halal! ❤️ I picked up the chicken boudin kolache, beef sausage kolache, and of course my glazed donuts. The Kolaches were delicious and filling! The donut was just the right amount of sweet and softness unlike the big chains. Excuse the donut picture I couldn’t help myself lol. Also What also makes a difference is when the management is so nice and appreciative of your business. I will definitely be returning for more!

Absolutely terrible. I ordered 2 kolaches and donuts. The window said that they had eckridge sausages in their kolaches and they don’t. Both of the kolache sausages were burnt and dry. I wish I could attach a picture to this review. The cashier didn’t even give me my change back. I can’t come back here again.

Yesterday we tried samosas and other snacks from Simply Splendid Donuts & Kolaches (it’s on Fry Rd in Katy) it was such a pleasure because everything we purchased was delicious!! From the sausage, jalapeño croissant to the Cajun boudin kolache. The samosas we got were Brisket (SO GOOD!) Also purchased a mixture of Aloo, chicken,beef and pizza flavor samosas. I highly recommend you try them out! Such humble father and son duo running the small shop, amazing customer service 🌟

Last 2 times I’ve gone, the sausage kolaches have been completely inedible

First time for me ordering from Simply Splendid and I was very happy! Sausage kolaches were delicious (our family of 8 all thought these were superior to many we have tried). Also the donuts were fluffy and delicious. Kolaches and glazed donuts were warm and fresh. We ordered through Uber Eats with special instructions and they delivered exactly what we asked for. Yeah, these donuts are all theyre hyped up to be. Fresh, light, tasty, with just the right amount of dough-to-icing ratio. And that was, literally, 15 minutes before they closed on a Sunday afternoon!The staff is SUPER friendly, welcoming with me a smile and a Texas sized Hello! I ordered two donuts and, as donut shops tend to do at the end of the day, they gave me four but only charged for two. Spent $1.50 on four amazing donuts that completely satisfied my craving!I will be back!

Its a family owned business with delicious Donuts and sandwiches. The atmosphere is great and clean. Have to go early if you want something special because everything goes fast. The store closes at 1:00 pm.

Good tasting donuts, the only issue is their unable to supply the specific types/style of donuts that are normally redally available at other bakery’s. They are usually out of most commonly consumed donuts before 8:30 in the morning on any day of the week. The bake an over abundance of less liked or less common donuts. The kalaches they have on the other hand, are just amazing and always a favorite with my children

Terrible service. Man in front didnt ask me what kolache i would prefer so when i got home and saw i had a small kolache i was extremely dissapointed. I called again and they said they would trade them out if i came back. I drove all the back again for them to try and charge me again! What the hell? TERRIBLE SERVICE SHOULD HAD GOT MY ORDER CORRECT THE FIRST TIME. I just drove back for nothing! Waste of time and gas! Extremely unsatisfied. Customer service at this place is awful!

I bought dozen of donuts and asked him to split in 2 small bags. He charged 10 cents extra for it. Cheap!!!! That is how people lose customers. Kolaches too are not fresh either. Find yourself another place.

They have amazing donuts and kolaches, but you have to go in the morning unfortunately. Me and my wife go there frequently and they have given us free extra donuts with our order many times.

This place is amazing the donuts are pretty good but WOW the kolaches are made for gods. I would argue that Simply Splendid donuts has the best kolaches in Houston. The sausage is amazing, the cheese awesome the dough FANTASTIC!!!! I am SO sad to move away because Colorado does not know how to make kolaches. Once you try this you will never go to Shipleys again for kolaches. That is the reason why I give Simply Splendid donuts five stars.👌
