Not pleased with the customer service here today. It’s Halloween so we expected to receive our Halloween donuts in one of the Halloween boxes. I have 2.5 year old who wanted one of those. I was told they were out. So whatever, move on. But then as we are sitting eating our donuts, I see another person come in and ask for a Halloween box and they give her one. Like what?! I paid for the same donuts as her but I don’t get a Halloween box?? Super annoyed. Then I ask for napkins from an older woman who I assume is the manager. She forgets in less than a minute. I ask another guy for napkins and he just looks annoyed to even be here. In addition, we ordered online for pick up at 8:20. When we get here at 8:30, our donuts aren’t even ready so I had to wait for a very slow person to get them all together for us. Let’s hope they open another location in Katy soon because we are not pleased with our service today.
Drive 40 mins to get their fresh Donuts! Very well worth it.
When the “hot donuts” sign is on, come in and they give each customer a free plain hot donut. I don’t even like donuts, but I devour their hot fresh ones! The store is clean and the workers are friendly. The staff all wear masks and they have a great selection. Definitely come here for their donuts!
I love this Krispy Kreme location. Compared to the previous ones Ive been to this one Ive been to around Houston this one is far better. Its always clean and the staff is very helpful. Ive never had any issues when coming here, most of the doughnuts are usually there when Ive visit the shop but if you are looking for something in specific its better to call.
Always hot n fresh the original glazed do not fail. This location always has a well stocked selection of the mixed assortment as well and with a friendly efficient staff you cant go wrong.
Best Krispy Kremes!!! The store manager in the 9am shift was wonderful! 🥰 She was quick to getting our order and was really sweet. I would give 10 stars if I could! I would recommend coming here as the service is better than any other krispy kreme. They definitely had a lot more pastries ready and done.
It was 1am on a Tuesday morning. After a long week of work and calorie counting, I shot awake, struck like lightning by the realization that I was but one scheduled DoorDash order away from the ultimate source of sugar-induced euphoria: Krispy Kreme Donuts. I opened their website and my mouth watered as I scrolled through their new autumn selection. Being a Basic White Girl, I was incredibly excited to see a variety of pumpkin spice donuts, but one stood out from the rest: An old-fashioned glazed cake donut. Krispy Kremes blueberry cake donuts are already good enough to make me question why in the world someone would choose to do hard drugs when donuts already exist, and if that was the case, how good might these pumpkin spice ones be? I placed my order for a custom dozen, and returned to sleep, eager to transport myself several hours into the future, where donuts would be awaiting me.Around 7am, I heard a knock at my door. When I flung it open, there it was: a green-spotted box containing the ambrosia of the gods. I picked it up, and... It was light. Too light to contain the much heavier cake donuts. I looked in the box, and my heart sank. A dozen glazed yeast rings stared back, their plain faces taunting me. Im never the type to complain; mistakes do happen, after all, especially with online ordering. But my heart was set on pumpkin spice cake donuts. So I called up the Mason Road Krispy Kreme, from whence my DoorDash driver had brought me a box of Sadness. The manager was very sweet and apologetic, and she offered to replace them for me, so I grabbed my keys and headed out the door. Upon arriving, the manager put together a new dozen box for me, and asked me a few times if I wanted a drink or anything extra. I declined, naturally, because mama didnt raise no ENTITLED JERK who takes advantage of HONEST MISTAKES. I thanked her for the donuts and returned to my car. I couldnt take it any longer. I ripped open the box like a starving wolverine, grabbed a pumpkin spice donut, and shoved it into my fat mouth.Every cloud in the sky disappeared, the gates of Heaven opened, and I heard an angel chorus singing “Ode to Joy” as my spirit left my mortal vessel and ascended to a higher plane of existence. I have returned to my body for the time being, to write this review and finish my donuts. Their softness, sweetness, and warm spices will carry my soul through the cosmos, finally at peace, for all eternity.Anyway, Im giving the Mason Road Krispy Kreme 5 out of 5 stars for great service.
Out of apple cinnamon donuts. Machine for ice lemonade not working.. Only 2 people working (1 at front & 1 at window). Several customers in line inside the store & drive up. Need more employees.
First off if you’ve never had a Krispy Kreme doughnut before, stop what you’re doing and drive to the nearest one. We all know the product is good. I tried the blueberry glazed this time and it was an awesome choice.I was really impressed with the staff because my son spilled a bunch of water right by the customer line and really nice guy helped clean it right away and made my son feel at ease. Glad we have one here in Katy now!
Popped in here this morning around 8:00. Noticed no cars in the parking lot and only one car in the drive through. When I was up, I ordered 6 original glazed. Thats it. Waited for roughly 10 minutes and I heard employees yelling at each other. At no point was I told they were out or were working on it, Finally drove away empty handed.Who runs a business like this? In the morning, especially, time is of the essence and for the staff to not communicate a hold up on processing the order is inexcusable. If they had to make some up, fine, I get that. Had I not driven off, no telling how long I wouldve waited. Now I understand the lack of customers.
Went here to get, or try to get the Strawberry Glazed donuts, but they sell out pretty fast...so just settled for a dozen glazed. The staff have a nasty attitude at the drive-thru, they just didnt want to be there it seemed. There was no long lines this morning due to severe weather, i can understand you dont want to get wet opening the window, it doesnt mean you need to rush customers.I will not be coming back to this location. The employees need to really treat customers better, or find new jobs.
Super rude customer service! Just called and asked if they had hot and ready donuts and he just replied “no” I asked when do they have any hot and ready he replied “afternoon” and hung up quick on me. I just checked their website and it says they currently have hot and ready this place needs new employees ASAP
Selection was poor. Literally missing 70% of the flavors on the website. The glazed I had were hot and tasted pretty good but overall disappointed by the selection given I made a drive out here for these.Update: ordered online the day before for pickup at 6:30am and they were able to satisfy my order correctly. Everything tasted great so upgrading my rating from 3 stars to 4.
Drove almost an hour to get here because I havent had krispy kreme in years, showed up at 9:30am and they were completely out of glazed donuts so decided to just get coffee and their coffee machine was broken. Such a waste of time
This is hands-down the best Krispy Kreme ever. David Jenny Felipe one in Sandra or on their game. Stop in and let them make your day the same way they made mine
I literally just left this location & it was the absolute worst experience. Every time I come here there is always a problem. There is currently a buy one dozen & get a second one for $1 promotion every Saturday in October. I drive literally 30 minutes to and from this location. There is literally a sign in THE DRIVE THRU that advertises this promotion. I ordered three dozens of donuts and the guy at the drive thru tried charging me full price and said that they don’t have the promotion at their location. He didn’t know how to charge a debit card so I had to go inside for them to charge my card. I asked another guy why they don’t honor the promotion when there is a sign in the drive thru advertising it. He said that it’s only on Friday’s and that it wasn’t today. Sir, today is October 24 and today happens to fall on a SATURDAY! I show him the Krispy Kreme website as well and he says, “Oh, I didn’t know that was today....” I told him that there is a sign in drive thru & I would like a refund for the dozen he charged me full price. He said he was the manager but he couldn’t do that & that I needed to come back tomorrow to speak to another manager. I told him I love 30 minutes out of town and I can’t just travel to get his error fixed. Come on. How do you not know your franchise company is having a promotion when you yourself put a sign promoting it?this is literally the fourth Saturday of October. Long story short ....if this location advertises a promotion you are going to pay full price & they won’t refund you.
The cashier in the drive do was awesome super friendly and helpful
As much as I love Krispy Kreme, this location has disappointed me over and over. They never have any cake donuts, so Ive been calling to see when they are making a batch. Even if I arrive a few hours after the time given, I always discover that they hadnt made any at all that day.
Never go wrong with donuts. I love their original ( glazed) and donut holes. Fresh donuts in the morning for sure.
Great service at drive thru. Friendly staff.
Here’s an idea. At 1030 AM on Sunday when your line is around the building and you have a crowd in your store, have the donuts ready. Don’t have the sign in if you’re 15 minutes away from having stock. Especially when you’re only a quarter of a mile away from a Shipleys that is fully staffed and ready to go.
Came around 6 PM because the “hot now” light was on. Waited in line for over 10 minutes just to place my order because the speaker was broken. I get my donuts and they are COLD . Which donuts suppose to be hot ? Pathetic Krispy Kreme . DO BETTER !
They were doing a graduation promotion. There were lines both through the drive thru and the shop so we chose the drive thru. After waiting in line 15 minutes we got up to the window to be told we can’t do the promotion at the drive thru. There were no signs up telling us that or even on the speaker that was broken. We ordered anyway since we had waited so long and then said never mind seeing the disappointment on my sons face. This was supposed to be a fun perk. If they can’t execute the promotion why do them? I usually buy donuts for staff from Krispy Kreme. Won’t be doing it anymore.
Not crazy about Krispy Kreme donuts but I visited to get my complimentary glazed donut promo with proof of COVID vaccination. Donuts are decent. The staff member at the window seemed robotic and dry, going through the motions.
Tasty/amazing doughnuts, especially when freshly made. They melt in your mouth. However just dont come if you have sugar problems. High in sugar. Also coffee is okay, not on the amazing level
I finished getting off the phone with them just asking a simple question and the boy on the phone rudely just screamed “no” and then hung up on me. I usually don’t make a big deal out of these things but if you seriously can’t politely tell a customer “no” then you shouldn’t even work there. Very disappointed. I’ve never even been to Krispy Kreme before and this is the first thing that happens when I call? Pathetic.
Staff was non professional, first time a bad experience at a krispy kream
I love Krispy Kreme donuts, but this store disappoints. Indoor seating closed. Minimal selection of donuts. Dirty floors and bathrooms.
Donuts were delicious this was actually my first time ever eating them i came because of the promotion 2 dozen for 13 😅😅😅 worth it
The only reason I decided to try them out was because I had a coupon. Im glad I did. The dough is so munchy and they stay fresh for days. So much better than Shipleys or Dunkin Donuts which in my opinion isnt any good unless youre in the Northeast. They both get dried out before the end of the day an DD is always out of everything. Krispy Kreme is missing some vital donuts though! Cake donuts, cruellers, and most of all Bavarian creams!!!
God tier donuts at a dirt cheap price
Went in today at around 5:30pm, rude staff member at drive through wouldn’t even let me ask him a question just kept asking how many doughnuts i wanted. Learn some customer service please.
This location is never busy, so usually quick in and out. The selection is small, especially in comparison to their competition just a few blocks further, Shipleys. The prices are also much higher than their close competitor.
Went in to this shop with my wife. They had ran out of jellie-filled doughnuts. We asked how long it would take to make more, but0 the employee replied saying, When I get to it. We also asked about the doughnut hole promotion for $1.19 with a dozen doughnuts on the menu, but the same person could not find on their register and responded saying its probably an old promotion. Poor service mainly was our issue with this shop.
Went through the drive thru and it was taking way longer than usual. Come to find out the drive thru attendant is incredibly slow and incompetent. I had ordered 2 dozens. She only gave me one box and when i asked her if there were 24 in here, she proceeded to tell me to look at the order sticker to see what i ordered because i guess she did not know. I told her i ordered a dozen glazed donuts and i ordered a custom dozen and therefore i was missing a whole box. They didn’t even get my custom dozen order right. Incredibly upset at this store.
Okay so the donuts are good here but the service is so lack luster its frustrating. The individual who served me was very lathargic and acted like they did not want to be there and projected that on to me and made the visit unpleasant. The drive thru is not any better. The speaker system has been broken for so long and it takes them such a long time to serve one car youd rather just go to another Donut shop and get your fix from there.Donuts are good of course, but poor service can ruin even the best of product.3 stars
Ive always been a Shipley Donuts type of guy. Work buddy wanted Krispy Kreme. Walked in and was greeted by Meghan/Megan. She greeted me with a smile and gave me a free donut. I was was blown away! It wasnt the donut, but the gesture. BEST customer service Ive experienced in a long time. Keep up the great work. Not all heroes wear capes.
So much better than Shipley, and a familiar treat from up home in the north! Cocoa drinks were disappointing, but the doughnuts are the stars and a delight.
Same old disappointment with Houston area franchise thats quite comfortable with absolutely zero effort.
One word… roaches
Not open an hour after their opening time. Said it would be another hour before they had donuts ready
This is the WORSE location Ive ever been too. Everything is broken and has been since March 2020. Plus the food is horrible! Who in the world is managing this location??
I dont think I need to say much about this 🔥😍🥰🤩🤤
There was a huge roach running up the side of the building. The floor is dirty on the inside and the donuts were thrown together. WORST KRISPY KREME EXPERIENCE EVER. I wish I could give zero stars.
Fresh donuts. Nice staff
This location is a JOKE! The drive through speaker has been broken for over a YEAR, the customer service is non-existent, the soft drinks are flat, etc. Im highly surprised they are still in business.
Great donuts and nice service
Id give it more stars if they EVER HAD DONUTS ON THE MENU. We have gone several times at various times of the day and they simply never make enough of the specialty donuts. So Im sure they are good...but who knows since we havent been able to eat one!
All of the employees there are the sweetest and friendliest. The best donut place around. My donuts are already fresh and they always have what I need
Fresh and always ready to eat original Krispy Kreme. Nice fast service.
The line was extremely long inside and in the drive way. The box was broken so ordering had to be done at the window which made it worse. My service was great once I got there, though.
The worst customer service ever. The employee asked can I help you, said yes I want a dozen. He gave a sigh and a huff. Not a line, asked for a receipt, we are out of receipt paper, good bye and walked off. Will drive to another Krispy Kreme farther away, avoid this place.
It doesnt get better that a cupons for doughnuts....we got a dozen, they went fast
They took our online order and we paid online. Arrived and speaker was not work which was the 1st sign this might be bad. Sign #2. No Valentines donuts on Valentines Day weekend. WHAT? Plus the other donuts we ordered they were out of them too. And by the way YOU ONLY MAKE DOUGHNUTS. To quote Stephen Colbert Timmy you only have one job. We had to go inside to request a refund because the manager was busy and btw there were no customers. Then it really gets interesting. Seems this location does not have the technology to refund an online order. That they can take an online order but not fulfill the order and then not execute a refund is unbelievable. Once the manager came out of the office he said he had refunded us. We refused to leave until we got proof. He went back, into the office and came back showing a photo on his phone because the printer is not working. If this had been our first bad experience with this location it would be comical. Kripsy Creme will not gain market share with this performance. Maybe just close it would be the best solution.
Good doughnuts
Worldwide Krispy Kreme typically produces a good product/service, and with the combination of the relative rarity of of their locations in Houston, I use to wonder how this store could manage to consistently get such low ratings. Well, mystery solved on yesterday 12/18/20. I ordered a customized dozen online and made it to the store after the time that the donuts were to be ready and ended up waiting 10 mins even though not a single other customer showed up the whole time I was there. The box was sealed up good when they finally handed it over so I did not open until I got home. When I did open it, I found that half of my custom order had been replaced with old, unglazed, fried doughnut dough with Christmas colored icing on top. They obviously just threw in whatever was not selling that day but failed to mention that there were any substitutions at all, let alone disgusting subs that were not among the flavors that I selected. I will not be rewarding this type of service with repeat business.
First time I came to this location, normally I go to other locations. The experience was super bad, the buy taking order didn’t know about the drinks in there own menu. We ordered hot donuts which when were handed over to us were cold. When I asked that you told me that currently you are Serving hot Doughnuts then he said sorry now you to wait for 30 mins to get hot ones. Why he told me first that they have hot and were serving cold ones, family was craving for hot ones so we waited 30 mins to get hot ones.Worst customer service
We visited this location while the hot sign was on at 8:25, the selection was very limited and the quality of the donuts was just unacceptable. We purchased a dozen of glaze donuts and for our surprise the all tasted like old oil. Wes very noticeable the employees didn’t display any pride in their job responsibilities nor performance.
Attendant was rude, not friendly. The donuts were not fresh! Our family loves krispy Kreme. Not going to this location again.
Great service fresh donuts !!GO AT NIGHT!!
Clean, fast, and friendly. After work they picked my 1/2 dozen right off of the line so they were extra hot!!!
Who owns this LOCATION?!! This isnt the Ghetto! Everything about this place is HORRIBLE! Starting with the drive-thru speaker that has been broken for OVER A YEAR!
Very friendly quick service. I’ll be back soon.
I didnt like the tastes of the donuts. The creme or Kreme was too sweet I think.
Expensive 1 donut is $1.40
It is hard to beat a hot, Krispy Kreme, glazed doughnut. They are melt in your mouth amazing!!! I also love their seasonal gingerbread ones, but I am a huge fan of gingerbread. The flavored and filled doughnuts are good too, but less consistent. Recently we were given a stale doughnut... Not cool. However, the glazed doughnuts here deserve all of the stars!!!
Please consider putting more filling in your doughnuts. A little dab isnt cutting it
If you’ve had krispy kreme at any other location and are expecting the same delicious donuts here YOU WON’T find them here!! To elaborate on this, the glaze is too thick and the donut is significantly smaller in size at this location. I enjoyed the fresh hot donuts which are a signature here but they are always so cold. Furthermore, they have a very limited selection of donuts (not many flavors! Just the basics!) There are so many other great donuts elsewhere! Don’t waste your time and don’t waste your money! ;))
Terrible service. If you care about your time, this is not your place
The only reason I am giving them one star is so I can post this review. Please do not order from this store. I initially placed an order for delivery and they sent me the incorrect one. After I called to rectify it, they cancelled my order. I called the store over and over again and still they did not pick up; so I had to call their corporate offices. Please use the other stores, if you want to save yourself a headache!!!
Guys you need to SERIOUSLY work on the wait time in the drive thru. This is ridiculous!!!!! I love Krispy Kreme but your drive thru wait time at this location is the worst EVER!!!! If you need a quick drive thru breakfast this location is NOT the place. NEEDS MAJOR IMPROVEMENT!!!
Worst Krispy Kreme I have ever been to. I love Krispy Kreme but this Location is the worst. They lied about their hours when I showed up one evening and a girl opens the door saying “we’re closed” then closes the window after looking at their hours that say they close at 7pm and I was there at 5:45. They always have attitudes. Every time I go the donuts are not fresh and I have to ask to have them hot off the line which is the entire point of Krispy Kreme. Save yourself the time and go to the Hwy 6 location, trust me.
Placed an online order and when my husband went in the next morning to pick up the restaurant was closed because the employees didn’t have a key to get in. He was told to go online and cancel the order. There is no option online for canceling so I called a week later and was told all orders that morning had been automatically canceled and the refund should show in my account in 3-5 business days. It’s now been almost a month with no refund and every time I call I get a busy tone. I’m sure the donuts would have been delicious if I’d ever gotten them, but the customer service here is terrible.
Lemonade donuts are especially good
Weve had a couple of underwhelming experiences at this location, but they have been getting better. The Kreme filled donuts have become something I really enjoy.
Never visited this location before, today was a big surprise. Loved the team here, definitely going back soon.
Its kind of sad that I had to edit my review but todays experience was beyond sad. I went today around 10 am and they pretty much were out of every single thing we ordered. No cake donuts what so ever. I then tried to order a box of k-cup coffee and the employee had no idea what I was talking about. Who owns this place and lets it run this way? Lastly, the hot donuts sign was on and the donuts were not. Krispy Kreme is normally always on point, but this particular location obviously has no one who cares working or owning the place. Shameful.
HOT sign was on December 5th, 2020 at 8:18pm. I changed course for some hot donuts. When I got there, they had not just made any, none were in the process of being made, and there was no intention of any being made any time soon. The light was not forgotten nor turned on inadvertently. They turned the light on intentionally to get consumers to try to convince them to buy the cold donut they had sitting around.
The best dountsWorker are helpful
This location does not answer the phone. I called 5times to inquire about the 2020 senior special, to see if they are honoring it. They bizarrely disconnect the call before anyone speaks.
There is currently a promotion for every Saturday in October that when you buy 1 dozen you get another for $1. This is on the Krispy Kreme website and there is also a sign in their drive thru. They said that they are are not doing it and in the past they only offer this on Fridays. They charged me full price and wouldnt honor the promotion. I told them it was in their drive thru and they said they didnt know. This is the FOURTH Saturday of October. Have they been charging people full price all month? I wont be coming back.
The donuts were good but the reason we took the trip out there was for the pumpkin spice limited edition well they did not have any of them I guess we should have called before we went we came from Cypress Tx.and went all the way to Katy
They gave me the raw donuts .......
Only half my order was delivered and now they won’t answer the phone.
