Found BreakTime after looking for a place in Katy Asian Town to sit with my laptop and get work done. I had visited two other tea spots in the main area of KAT. When I walked into BreakTime, I was pleased to find lots of table space with outlets in a quiet environment. They seem new and I dont think people have quite discovered it yet. It was the perfect spot to study, with plenty of space - they were even playing lyric-less, jazzy music (coffee shop vibe).My friend and I ordered two teas, a Jasmine Milk Tea with egg pudding and the Pandan Jelly tea. I loved that the sinkers are included in the price ($4.50) whereas most places will charge you extra. They even sell milk tea by the gallon/half gallon. We also ordered a banh mi and popcorn chicken. We were very pleased with both; the banh mi was loaded! The popcorn chicken wasnt greasy at all and came with sweet chili sauce.I definitely recommend this place for studying or even just to sit at one of the couches and read. I want to come back and try the Vietnamese egg coffee. I wanted to try it but it was too late for me to be consuming that much caffeine haha.

I think their pork banh mi was probably the best banh mi Ive ever eaten. Just...perfection! Great food, drinks, and snacks. Fantastic service! I really enjoyed the atmosphere too. Would love to come back 👍

Enjoyed lunch yesterday at Breaktime, had the shredded chicken banh mi which was delicious and had a kick to it and was also a huge portion. Tried the beef kimchi fries as well and they did not disappoint! We also tried their signature Vietnamese Egg Coffee for the first time and it was so GOOD. Would def come again maybe even to WFH or chill because they have a good amount of space and outlets etc.

I recently found this place with my boyfriend while I was on a craving for Vietnamese coffee. Their Vietnamese coffee is unbelievably delicious and their cups are just too cute. The little heart stopper is an adorable detail! The Vietnamese yogurt cups are also pretty tasty too but it is a little different from the standard type of yogurt that comes to mind if you’ve never had it before.The inside of the place is pretty clean refreshing with its color palette . The staff are also really kind and pleasant people. I definitely recommend this place!

Hands down the best Vietnamese coffee Ive ever had. It was strong, smooth, sweet and slightly decadent. The food was also really great, we tried the popcorn chicken and it was made fresh with some fried basil as well I believe. Drinks is great, food is great, the vibes are immaculate

Since visiting Breaktime tea lounge a few months ago, I’ve tried Vietnamese coffee and Mango Green Tea from a lot of other places. Breaktime easily has the best tasting Viet Coffee and Mango Tea I’ve had in the city hands down! Love this place and the owners are extremely welcoming and nice. Try it out if you can!!!

Ate a grilled pork Bánh mì with calamari. Everything was delicious, well beyond my expectations. Highly recommend!

Very cute place but the boba tea was not good. We asked for less sugar and received very sugary drinks despite our request. The boba was mushy. I could barely drink what I ordered. Not a fan.

Terrific food and peaceful environment.Opened in 2019 end of November and then COVID shut them down for a little bit.Finally back up and they still require masks.For what I ordered.....On food, Ive ordered the 4PC Mango Habanero / 4PC Lemon Pepper / Grilled Chicken Vietnamese Sandwich plus fries. I wouldve taken a photo but I have inhaled it all.For drinks, I highly recommend the coffee milk tea. Im a boba guy so I had that added. Result....so simple yet delicious.And finally....Yes, they have wifi, very friendly staff, and comfy seats. Lol

Love this place! I came in because I wanted to try the ca phe trung (Vietnamese egg coffee), and this is the only place in Katy that sells it. The barista was super friendly and helpful. The coffee was incredible. I love the shop itself - its very roomy, with a number of variety of seating that you can choose from. Great for getting work done and catching up with friends.

Flavorful, fast, and options. Got a to-go order of Bahn Mi sandwiches and they offered to assemble them partway so I could toast them up at home with veges on the side. Eggs, extra meat, pate and more are available as add-ons at a fair price.Coffee milk tea was just right. I agree with other reviews about the standard ice and sugar levels are not too much or too little. They are just there in the drink and enjoyable. Plenty to drink, and did not water down.

I stopped in for a Passion Tea! The best passion tea on earth. It was so refreshing. There are 5 to 6 different toppings you can add to any drink. I also ordered the spicy chicken wings, egg rolls, and fries, to go. My order was freshly made and everything was delicious. I will stop by everytime I take a trip to katy,tx. Thank you it was the perfect ending to a great day!

Sandwiches are very good. My husband went in to order and said the gentleman working was really nice & friendly. The only problem I had with the sandwiches was that it needed a little more shredded chicken and definitely more mayo sauce stuff. The egg rolls were delicious and the chicken chic-a-tori delicious. Definitely our new spot. Thank you

Cant recommend this place enough, quite a cozy spot for studying as it has its own dedicated wifi, including a high-speed xfinitywifi connection for the entire plaza, and also provides really refreshing milk tea and decent banh mi sandwiches. staff were friendly and always quick to service.

Stopped by for just a milk tea, and had a brief but wonderfully pleasant experience. The person who took care of us was incredibly kind and sweet. The milk tea was excellent too! We will be coming back soon to try the menu once the weather is back to normal.

We stopped here on a whim, and I’m so glad we did. I had never had taro tea before, and I’m hooked. My daughter had the kumquat tea, and she loved it as well. The staff were exceptional, and helped us “newbies” figure out what to order. I’ll definitely be back!

It!Lovely, aesthetic look as soon as you walk in - soft, classical music playing in the background, greenery decor, beautiful seating, and a clean white color scheme to take your perfect Instagram picture.Customer service is phenomenal here - I believe its family/couple owned. The managers are so sweet, and love conversing with my kids. They really go above and beyond to make it feel so homey.Food is *smooch* - perfect! Literally a great place for snacking. I havent had their drinks, but their CAJUN FRIES - we always order four baskets. No joke. My husband loves their lemon pepper wings, and their popcorn chicken is perfectly seasoned without being overwhelmingly salty.Banh mi is delicious - meat has a BBQ like taste, and bread isnt overly baked.Their Cajun corn beats Wing Stop - you can definitely taste the butter with a perfect amount of Cajun seasoning.My kids and I love this place - an amazing spot to relax and snack with a friend or family!

I usually go there for Banh Mi. They are good, last time I order the Banh Mi special, meat balls I think, it was delicious! I heard the avocado mash there is good, I will try next time.

The shredded chicken banh mi is pretty good. Its been a while since Ive had a one, so I wouldnt say I have the best pallet. Im also not vietnamese, Im just a hungry man. Ill definitely be back. I want to see how they improve with a little bit of time.My wife had the pandang drink, and she really enjoyed it.Im interested in trying other offerings from the menu as well.Give them a try, they are right across the street from the Andretti Karting place.

Pleasant experience! Nice staff clean space and delicious sandwiches and drinks! We had the pork/shredded chicken to which were both fantastic. The bread wasn’t to hard or too soft! The drinks were fantastic too! I had cafe sua da with yogurt. I would recommend it without if you aren’t into that.It was not busy at all when I went Sunday mid morning ! So if you crave bahn mi or just need a break give breaktime a shot!

The decor in this place is awesome. The staff is even better. And the food is amazing. The meatballs in particular are out of this world. Well be back often.

We ordered the Chicken shredded banh mi and the grilled pork banh mi, both were delicious. The quality of fries was amazing - we ordered kimchi fries and were also very happy. The beef on the fries was top notch too. New go to spot for banh mi in Katy!

My kids and my husband enjoy their drink . Its my first time visiting this place and I enjoy it and the people that work there are very friendly .

Food -5/5 - Very typical Bahn Mi place but their bahn mi is very good. The bread is not too hard, and has a good consistency. The meat is abundant in the sandwich and overall very tasty. The menu is small but that is perfectly fine, as you will find all the basic Vietnamese favorites!Price 4/5 - Fair. Not cheap and not expensive. A drink and a sandwich can cost you about $11 with tax.Service 5/5 - Quick, no hassle. Very friendly.Overall great place. It is fairly new so the store is very clean and inviting.

First time here....wife saw it advertised for the sandwiches. WOW....WOW....WOW. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. A+++++ winner. Egg Coffee was flavorful. Sandwiches soft yet crunchy bread. Teas were spot on.

Such a cute little place! I love the option of being able to pick and choose which sinkers I can get! By that I mean, I can scoop it myself and put in as much as I want to reach the fill line! Their milk tea and passion fruit tea were really good! A little sweet but it had a strong tea aroma which I love! Some places you can barely taste any tea in their drinks.The tea are also brewed to make the drink so I love that it’s fresh unlike Share Tea where they use mainly powder for their drinks. It’s a nice place to study and have a quick meal too! Their food options are great! The popcorn chick was a hit for my family. If we didn’t already come from dinner, we would have tried other stuff on the menu. Apparently they are known for their egg coffee, which I gotta come back to try. Overall, a great little place to come and relax.

I tried this place yesterday and the service was awesome. The beef in the banhmi sandwich was delicious and I think I would have totally given it a 5 star if it wasnt for the bread...the bread was super chewy and hard. Is there something you can do with the bread because the filling of the sandwich was so good that I would like to keep coming back but I will not be able to eat that bread though 😞

Egg coffee and Chick-A-Tori are my favorite. I also like their brown sugar fresh milk boba. My daughter loves their Thai Green Milk Tea but I cant let her have too much of tea.

Great service, great royal tea (not too sweet but nice), but boba was not sweet and had little flavor.

As a boba fan, I like to try different boba tea joints and this is by far theee best one. I usually get the thai tea and thai green milk tea here, it is soo rich and flavorful! All their drinks have the right amount of sugar level so no need to adjust. The boba is soft and delicious. I like the ambiance and decor of the place. Very friendly and good customer service. I don’t live close to them and I crave for their drinks all them time so it’s convenient they they sell my drink in half gallons!
