Had the earl grey tea which was really good though expensive. Decor was good, though rough aesthetic meant you might cut your hand on the top of the wood chair backs. People there were quick, kind, and very competent. Definitely would go again if in the area. Had seating that was great great studying, meeting people, just hanging out, or just going in to grab something and dashing onwards to whatever is next.

First time experience was great. Very friendly staff. My grilled chicken salad was delicious. Im really picky about chicken being properly cooked and NOT over cooked. The chicken was tender and flavorful.

Coffee and bakery were good. Wouldn’t go back there for the sandwich. The place and the hostess were both really nice.

Blockhouse is amazing and the food was so good (grilled cheese was perfect) I had to order another plate. Sadly the kitchen does close at 2 which I didn’t know but I ended up getting a mocha frappe that had such a unique taste that cannot be matched by coffee shops such as Starbucks. The employees were so welcoming and easy to start a conversation with. The vibe of the coffee shop was perfect for getting work done and I felt very comfortable. Definitely coming back again !!!!!!

Hands down, the best-tasting coffee in the Katy area. Whether you’re i. The mood for an espresso drink (try the cortado for a treat) or just some straight-up coffee (pour-over is excellent), this is our go-to coffee spot. Highly recommend!

The food is really good but its pricy! $10 bucks for a thin sandwich and a small pack of kettle chips. Wait, it was the pickle wedge huh?Id like the place to succeed but with the price to portion ratio being off, I doubt this place will get long term repeat patronage.

Smooth, bold, amazing coffee! Blockhouse is the best coffee house in the area! If you aren’t in to coffee, the Chai Latte (hot) is amazing! You can really taste the chai tea and it isn’t overly sweet. The Iced Macha Tea Latte is also good. It has a slightly sweeter yet more balanced flavor than other places. ☕️ Treat yourself! 🌟

Have been there three times and overall very pleased. Nice cozy atmosphere, cheery and decent staff and good food. We are plant based and order the veggie club, it is great and worth a try! Coffee is good and girls love the blueberry muffin!

Rip off. $11 for two coffees. They were the size of a miniture dollhouse coffee cup. My coffee was made wrong, and the beans do not taste good. I will not be back. I was a barista for 3 years, so I understand coffee.

Love the Richmond location so excited to have this one in Katy. Local sourcing on everything, great coffee, great breakfast and lunch options, outdoor space for kids to play and a book nook. Not sure what more I could want!I had the avocado toast and loved the freshness of it all. Looking forward to coming back!

There isnt the widest Variety of Beverages at this establishment, but they do have a decent menu of food items one could order. The Coffees are usually pretty good, but i have definitley had better.

Veggie club and avocado toast were both on point! Simply cant go wrong with Cold Brew with the seasonal lavender syrup either!

What a great little coffee shop. The chorizo breakfast tacos are very good. We also loved the adult grilled cheese. It had a velvety texture and so creamy, yay for gouda! My cortado was excellent and my husband had a cappacino. Great espresso flavor: strong and bold. Kind staff that were just super friendly and led us to pick some great choices. Nice place to have in the neighborhood.

The coffee is as good as it gets. The atmosphere (at both locations) is perfect for both studying and hanging out.

Ive been twice lately. The first time I called ahead and they were great!! I got a honey cinnamon iced latte with oat milk 😋 and as soon as it hit my lips I knew Id be returning regularly. They also suggested ordering ahead of time on door dash to keep the transaction as contactless as possible. After I left, I sat in the car on a conference call and noticed they were wiping down everything from counters to door handles to credit card machine after every single customer picked up their order.I went back using DoorDash to place my pick up order and also got a chai latte and regular coffee and we loved all 3 drinks. Seamless, delicious, contactless, great service, highly recommend!
