I have always been pleased with discount tire. I recently moved to the Katy area and took my car in for a tire rotation at this new location. They informed me I needed 2 new tires because of my tread and finished the job quickly and efficiently. When I picked it up, one of the new tires was flat. I shared my observation and concern with them and they resolved it, told me what had happened (over tightened valve) and fixed the problem. They waived part of my payment because of the inconvenience as a result — I highly recommend discount to anyone. They problem solve and take ownership of the very rare mistakes and have excellent customer service.

Nice guys but... Had a flat 1.5 years ago and was running late to work (guess I shouldnt have mentioned that...) They refused to fix the flat because the tire didnt fit their criteria for safety (which is strange because the same tires were examined at Toyota dealership twice during the next year+ and deemed in fine condition.) DT also didnt have the suggested tire in stock that day and I had to buy the better choice for more money. I felt taken advantage of and wont return to this location.

Been coming here for many years now and I can honestly say Ive never had a bad experience! They are always super nice and friendly reminder and really know their stuff. I do recomend making an appointment as opposed to walk-in because it cuts about an hour off your wait time.

I had a flat tire and they were not super busy.. Was able to get 2 tires replaced in less than an hour including the time it took me to make a decision on which tires I wanted. Jeff provided excellent service and even updated my information in their system.

Service was quick eventhough they were busy for Independence Day weekend and I had no appointment on Friday.

The tire that I bought there two and a half years ago had a slow leak. They could not fix it so they replaced it. This place really has the best deals and best service, the whole chain does. This location has friendly and helpful people working there.

We had a family emergency this last weekend heading out to a funeral and we were limited on time as we had to drive 6 hours, had a flat, and they got us in front of the line and we got to the viewing on time . Thank you

Phenomenal customer service and friendly staff that go out of their way to help. Blew 2 tires before work and towed to this location, fixed then within an hour and got me on my way at a fair price. Even gave me special tool and lug nuts to solve a problem with a spare.

I have been be so pleased with the service I have received my last 2 visits at this location.The first time about a year ago I dealt with the Manager Yasin. So refreshing to be treated with friendly courteous and professional service.I went back last week for another vehicle and was helped by TJ. Awesome young man who also treated me with friendly courteous professional service. He went above and beyond and it is appreciated.It’s nice to deal with a place where how you treat your customers matters.

Service was good. Staff in garage not wearing masks around each other. The employees inside the store only pulled a mask up as they approached a customer. It did not feel like discount tire was keeping their employees safe.

I’ve been a loyal Discount Tire customer for over 20 years and had perfect service ever single time in 20 years. However this discount tire location gave me the worst service I’ve ever received. Stood in line for 10 min to have my tires looked at as usual and was told to move my car from the front to the tire check area and they will check my tire tread there. So stood in the tire air check for another 10 min and went in to complain no one was there to check my tires. I usually get the best service at discount tire always in the 20 years I’ve been a customer, but do not go to this location as this was by far the worst customer service I’ve ever received. I just wanted my tire tread checked to see if I needed to buy new tires, I will never return to this location again. Discount tire corporation needs to strongly check this location for management training as I am a general manager myself. This location gives Discount Tire a bad name!

I placed an order online, set up an appointment and dropped off my vehicle. They were done under an hour. Hunter and his colleagues were very nice and helpful. I recommend this place over Firestone that is across the street.

Couldnt be more disappointed - DT did over 2K of damage to electronics during tire change - manager was useless, incompetent - find another place.A shame zero stars isnt an option.

Needed new tires for my truck cause of this snow/ice and while almost everything closed these hard working guys were open fixing and changing tires. Great service guys I really appreciate it godbless!

Ive used a lot of other tire service companies including other Discount Tire location but this is my favorite. Friendly staff and quick service.

Great customer service and very quick and efficient! We came in as walk-ins and they were able to get us in in a timely fashion despite having multiple appointments scheduled already!

My experience with Discount Tire has always been above average and overall Im pleased with them. This particular location though goes above and beyond and I cannot speak highly enough if them. Very prompt and do their best to get you in and out quickly. Knowledgeable staff has answered every question I throw at them with no hesitation. Great job !!!

Good experience but please make sure to ask for your wheel locks on pickup. They have lost my wheel locks on one of my other car. Took my wifes are car in yesterday and they forgot to give us the wheel lock again.

Another discount tire trying to get $40 for lug nuts because they will have difficulty taking them off. (At least this discount gives you the sales pitch in advance). I just needed a tire plug covered under my protection plan which they conveniently couldnt find in their system but luckily I kept my paperwork. As soon as I showed them the plan (15 mins after beginning conversation) they no longer could fit me in and wanted to make my appointment later). I showed up 8 mins late to my appointment (went to wrong location) and unable to call them due to their phone number going to fax tone. The Mason discount tire didnt give me the salepitch on lug nuts.

Leo was very prompt and professional! Will be coming back to discount soon and asking for him.

Excellent experience here! I know that tire shops get busy on the weekend, so I showed up a few minutes before 8am. The rules have changed a bit due to Covid-19. Wear a face covering, you can choose sit and wait in your car or inside for your turn at service. You can even sit in the vehicle as they change your tires, but only with the car off, for safety. The place was very busy. You pull up to the check in, they take your info and give you a realistic wait time. I came for two new front tires. I waited in my car in the parking lot for about an hour and 10 minutes. There were 6 cars ahead of me. The attendant came, walked me inside, and gave me my tire options. I pulled the car into the bay, and waited outside. I was done and ready to go at about 9:50. These folks are really providing excellent and fast service. Cars were getting done timely, everyone was friendly and professional. If I have any other tire needs while I live in this area, I will be coming back. To the staff, you are all awesome and thank you for the service! ☆☆☆☆☆

Putting my Discount Tire installed Goodyear Wrangler tires to work. Load range D to keep the mesquite from puncturing them. 7500 miles with no complaints or punctures!

Did the drive up curbside services to get air in my tire and the service was just phenomenal it was fast quick and in a hurry and everyone was so kind and polite I really did appreciate the service

While there was a long wait the day that I went, they were able to put my name on the list and help me out. Once they were able to take care of my car, in which I had to replace a tire and get a rotation, it was fast.

This is the worst discount tire I’ve been to ever. I was sold a tire that had a nail in it when I pulled out to see the new tire I saw it then talked to the manager and he said it was bad luck. I’m very upset because I had to wait 2 hours pay 175 for a tire and then it’s got a nail and they don’t want to exchange it. Like come on. I’m a professional myself and I know that if I did something wrong I am responsible especially if I didn’t even leave. wish everyone else thought the same but I guess that’s not the case

With an appointment, I was in and out with 4 new tires in less than 30 minutes.

I came in on a spare from a flat, and my tires had low tread anyways. I got a good price for replacement tires, and pretty fast service. Friendly staff, that wasnt pushy. I recommend coming here for your tire needs.

Store is great, tech are great, as long as you don’t get the manager to help you. Ordered tires on Saturday after a week of no calls or TEX my that my tires are in. I had to call wait 20 minutes for them to check to find out they have been there but manger at store is the down fall for this location. It’s a shame because employees are great. Try to get mike at counter he is great. Stay away from the manager Yasin salesperson 701.

This store is always busy and expect to spend some time if you are just a walk-in/no appointment situation. That would seem to be a negative but the fact that they are busy is a testament to the great work they do. The pit crew is always hustling and moving as quickly as possible so you really cant get frustrated about the wait; at the same time they are prepared to take a few minutes to explain what work has been done to ensure the client knows what they are paying for.The management staff is always prepared and courteous, and at the same time ready to jump in and support the pit.Great Team, always positive, always getting the job done...

Ive came here twice on a busted tire and always have good service and helpful staff members. And the prices and offers they have are affordable. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Customer service inside and out was horrible. The staff definitely needs training on getting and properly addressing customers waiting in line while other staff remain not busy doing anything. If youre looking for warm welcomes this location is highly not recommended.

I went to this location because it was close to work and I had a nail in my tire. It was pretty close to closing time and they were swamped, I was treated like that was no big deal, but it would be a wait. Michael was just fantastic! I have never had bad service at any Discount Tire that I have been to and will always stick with them! You cannot beat the customer service and efficiency of Discount Tire and a special thanks to Michael for fixing my issue 1/2 hour sooner than anticipated!! I hope I wont be back for the same issue but will be back for tires and maybe rims when I need them!!

I cant say enough about this location. Heading to San Antonio (Im not familiar with the Houston/Katy area) I blew a tire. Called 40 min before closing was able to get back on the road no problem. Alex and his colleagues were so nice about everything THANK YOU God Bless.

I did not have a good experience today. Phones were not being answered. Counter was repeatedly left unattended for several minutes at a time. Once I finally got to talk to an employee I was told it would be over two hours before they could get to my car. I have never seen a Discount Tire store run this badly.

Very poor experience. Line of customers and they keep grabbing the phone instead of helping the people in front of them. I was ready buy a new set of wheels and tires for my truck, but when I finally got helped the salesman said mind if i grab this? Before I could even answer he answers the phone as I say, Yes and says Sorry. I walked out. Im all about taking the phone calls and getting new business, but when theres a customer in front of you take care them or they wont come back. I know i wont.

I went in for tire balancing and rotation. Very friendly and professional staff. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised that they did the balance and rotation as complimentary. They’ve earned my business and I’ll definitely go back to them in the future when I need tires or tire services. Went in today for a slow leak and rotation for the upcoming 4000 mile RV trip. Was told I could get nothing done because after checking their system my tires were not rated for my rims now under new guidelines even though I originally bought them from discount tire. You can imagine I was set to do battle, when they explained to me that I was not out nothing that they were going to replace all 4 tires on my 3500 Dodge at a cost of a shade over $1,700 dollars. The new tires were the exact same tires I had on the truck only a bit smaller. For anybody out there discount tire rocks would never go nowhere else.

They are awesome. My daughter got a flat tire just before they closed and her spare was flat as well they stayed late and fix them both and didnt charge her anything. They were amazing!

Amazing customer service. We had originally went to Auto Nation to have my tire plugged - they were absolutely horrible - so we left and came to Tire Discounters. They plugged my tired free of charge, were respectful of our time, and I could not have been more satisfied with my experience and repair. I would especially like to thank Luna for his help. 100% recommend!

Going through the reviews, I cannot understand how this business has a 4.3 STAR rating. You have employees who don’t want to work. When you ask a question, they deflect. When you tell them what you need, they keep coming up with reasons to not complete the job. I had them put my bad tire back on my truck and I left. I have an account with Discount Tire and have been to MANY throughout the different states. This by far has been my worst experience. They also sent an invoice to my email saying they FIXED my flat tire and rebalanced in, which they did not do. I will not return to this particular establishment. If I were you I would drive the additional three and a half miles to the next one that was a LOWER STAR rating.

I was told by one of the “techs” he couldn’t get my wheel off because one of my wheel locks was stripped. Brought it home was able to loosen all of them. Either they’re incompetent or just lazy. On top of that I waited over 2.5 hours to have them balance 3 tires, what a joke! Discount Tire has gone down hill with the quality of work. This is the last time I use Discount Tire or purchase any tires from them in the future.

This location is excellent and the staff is conscientious and friendly. It suffers from too much success as wait times are long. A bigger store would help.

They have a certain section for pressure check where there is only minutes wait. No long lines and the people are so friendly even the customers. My fav.

In general I like Discount tire but my last visit at this store went sideways. I was told it would take an hour and twenty minutes. I came back 1.5 hours later and nothing had been done. I took my keys and left. Make sure you make an appointment to help keep you in the queue.
