I visited the Katy location near Katy Mills. I was warned not to bring my vehicle here after a friend had a bad paint experience a few years ago. I looked at the online reviews and decided it seemed like a good place, maybe their management changed for the better. I should have listened to my friend. I was informed when dropping off my car that the person over my case was moving locations. After two weeks I picked up my car only to have half of the repairs made, and overspray on my hood. Chris was the person on my case and he was so unprofessional. He told me he would talk to his manager to get the repairs fixed and call me later that day. I ended up calling him close to closing because he never did. I tried my best to be patient. His communication was poor and he would tell me a different story than what he would tell my insurance. I went an additional 2 weeks trying to figure out if my vehicle would be repaired correctly, mainly the paint job. Caliber told me they would for sure fix the body repairs that were not done originally. My insurance finally instructed me to pickup my vehicle and take it to another location. When I arrived the manager, Chuck, was now helping Chris with my case. He was able to help me by telling me that the paint repairs would be made. We had to point out to them what was wrong with the paint job. I was very upset they couldn’t see them until we showed them. For weeks my car sat on the lot when communication on their end could have prevented that. During those two weeks I would call every day and either not get an answer or a message was left, only to not be called back. If you want to have quality repairs do not go here. If you want to have great customer service do not go here.

Check in was great papers all ready as this was a insurance claim, Valentina came out looked at my car and talked me through repairs. The receptionist sorry forgot her name was awesome called Enterprise for me to ask them to bring the rental over to Caliber .Received a couple of text about progress but if you called your questions were always answered.I picked up my car after the accident and was very pleased with the repairs and paint work.On picking up the gentleman was very helpful came out as we looked over the vehicle repairs and answered my questions. He took the keys to my rental so I did not have to take that back to Enterprise.10/10 would go back with my vehicle again.

They took almost a month to get my truck back to me, didnt fix everything, and the blinkers dont work when the headlights are on. There was nothing wrong with them before. Other than that, they did a good job on the body work.

We left our car for repair with door and runner board damage. One of the worst experience we have had. The initial estimate was 2 weeks to return the vehicle and its been almost 30 days and still the complete issue is not addressed. There is no proper update from the team to the customer instead we have to call them and follow up to get the status of completion. Every time they say that wrong parts are received or ordered late. Had to end up taking vehicle without fixing running board but ended up paying full claim to get the vehicle and now should wait for the correct part to arrive to get runner board fixed and am not sure how long its going to take.. There is no proper follow up or process once you hand over the vehicle. The team doesnt even bring the receipt with correct customer name and car make. I have done repairs at many places but never experienced like this.

Terrible customer service. I had a Collison and took my vehicle over there only for them to do a haphazard job and give me the run around when I tried to get the issue rectified. Not even so much as a phone call for an update. And Chris was spectacularly the most horrendous of all with his countenance to my request for answers. I would give zero stars of possible but one will do for now.

I had knocked the side mirror off my Rogue backing out of the garage. Caliber repaired the damage and did a beautiful job. They took less time than expected and were extremely courteous throughout the process. I am very pleased.

It took them two, almost 3 weeks longer than told to finish. They kept pushing the date back They said they kept getting parts in the mail that were damaged. Now, my blinkers dont work when the headlights are on, and they didnt fix everything. My glove box popped open in the crash and wouldnt shut. I brought it up 3 times, and all they did was break the latch off so it would close. I recommend going somewhere else.

Excellent quality repair, and even better service. Harley was extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and attentive. We had an update every single day while the vehicle was in the shop, so we never once worried about the status. Vehicle came back perfectly repaired, washed, and ready in the carport. I would recommend Caliber to anyone needing quality repairs. Also, they handled all of the insurance work behind the scenes, so it was easy for us.

Can’t say enough about this place. My brand new 2020 Chevy traverse got a dent in an HEB parking lot- still had the brand new tags on. Caliber Collision got us an appraisal for the insurance right away and an appointment to drop off my car within 2 business days. It was repaired within 1 week and looks like new. Throughout the whole process they kept us informed via text messages AND they even detailed the car inside and out! Customer service is prompt, courteous and informative. The Katy location did a great job with my truck repair where I ran into a hog in the country and a separate incident where I had a massive blowout on the right rear damaging the entire right fender and parts of the doors. The truck looks new!

While my car was being worked on at Caliber Collisions, I had the best & most amazing experience there. They were very helpful & informative. They sent me update texts throughout the time my car was there. They always had a smile on their faces & there was absolutely zero issues. My car was returned looking brand new & very clean. Mica there is very awesome! I highly suggest you bring your car there.

After being rear-ended, I had to go through the responsible partys insurance company for repairs and they required me to go to Caliber; am I glad they did! The staff is very personable and do an extremely thorough job of cataloguing even the minutest damage to make sure youre taken care of in the best possible way, and their mechanics work miracles. Though I hope I never need collision repair again, if I do I know exactly where to go.

Unfortunately, I’ve had to bring my vehicles in for repair more often than I would’ve liked, and the team that handles the repair work always does a good job. This would’ve been a 5 star rating, however this most recent attempt to get a vehicle repaired came with a few issues. Normally, I would call in and schedule an appointment. This past Tuesday, however, their phone lines were not functioning properly apparently. I tried to call about 15 times throughout the day, and was always met with a busy signal. Just before lunch, I decided to use the online appointment scheduler, trying to drop my vehicle off on Friday. I’m traveling out of the country next week, so it would be a great time for my vehicle to be in the shop getting fixed. Apparently, the online scheduler does not work at all. They had no record of me submitting a request for repair, and when I talked to them today, there are no available openings until next week. I know that the fully booked schedule is not necessarily something I should complain about, however, I can’t help but think that if their online scheduling system work properly, I would’ve had the opportunity to bring my vehicle and when I needed to bring in. I am going to have to find another place to repair my vehicle now, and if they do a great job, my business will shift to that new location. Not a knock against this team, just the system they employ.

I went here with a scheduled appointment and still couldnt get a quote for my vehicle because another car was on the lift. Thats why I scheduled an appointment several days in advance - so you could have your lift available!

Vern Gilpin keeps me well informed on my vehicles progress. I have had the misfortune to need his help twice now, but he has made my experience with Caliber a very positive one. There has been a delay or two, but only due to waiting on the insurance company to inspect unseen damage. Even then the delays were very short and understandable.Honestly I hope I never need his help again, but if I do I know I am in good hands with Vern and Caliber in Katy, Texas. I cannot recommend them any higher. Great Job! Great People!I just read some of the previous reviews and wonder who took care of them and whether those people are even there anymore. My experience last January and this February could not have gone any smoother, or been more pleasant. My insurance adjuster even came up with a higher initial estimate than Vern did. He saw something that Vern and I missed and just added it in there.The fact is some people just arent happy unless theyre making someone else miserable. Should I need it, I will be back to Caliber and I will be asking for Vern.

I appreciate the integrity and honesty of this company. I came in for an expert opinion on something I was unsure of that another bodyshop had told me (they charged me $3700 and then when something was not working properly after their repair, they told me it was nothing they did to cause the problem. I just wanted to know if my suspicions were correct about being lied to, and they assessed and fixed the issue at hand in 5 minutes. For free. Though I had taken my car back to the first shop to get it made right, they refused and told me it was not their fault or problem, without actually taking a second to investigate. Kudos to Caliber Collision. You have a new customer for life.

This is two month after I picked up my car from this body shop, and I Finally want to make this review because I want to be fair to both the customers and the business. So here is the story, I had my vw golf r got in to a bad accident back in December 2018, air bags deployed. At first I thought the car would be totaled, but after all that insurance estimates it can be fixed. During the two months of repair my representative had been really good to helped me to explaining the work and the processes especially considering my car had lots of special parts that is really hard to get. I give 5five star to my representative, however I can only give 2 star to the body work and one star to the paint job, the new paint looks really bad and the rear body panels you can tell it been really bad patched. Overall I give 3 star to this repair.

I went in a few weeks ago with a slightly damaged side mirror and one of their advisors was very helpful and actually fixed it in the parking lot at no charge. I will be going back whenever I have additional body shop needs.

Car accident is not a good experience, plus you have to deal with the experienced adjuster and collision center and fight with them. Because adjuster will try to pay you less and collision center will try to get your business with no guarantee on repair quality. Basically, you are fighting with a group of experienced and knowledgeable professionals. isnt that scary! But hold on, this is normally the impression you will get if do Google research.Caliber collision center really changed my mindset. Amanda Whiffen is the one I worked with and she is really impressive. She explained me how the process work in a great detail and always emphasize how her customer, me, being fully protected by them. She also explain that the caliber collision center will not try to get your business just because they want to make money out of every case. She said, if it is a total loss, it is. She will not try to cut work short and get the business and leave you a not well repaired car. My poor car, was not clear if it will be a total loss or no. I was really worrying about the collision center will try to get my business by providing a estimated repair cost close to the total loss line, but not over to lose the business. It turned out to be not the case. By fully explained to me how much possible hidden damage it may have, especially for the 4 wheel drive Subaru, I feel released. Finally, it is a total loss because my car got fully investigated, the repair cost is so high.No one want to involved in car accident, but isnt that great you can work with someone you never met before but you trust!

The work was done perfect, but when I went to pick up my car I realized that an engagement ring was stolen that I left in the right door, I do not understand how it can happen in such a place, in fact I do not understand how they touch something of the front right door when work was done on the rear bumper. Actually I am very disappointed that the workshop does not have reliable employees or no one is responsible for the articles of the clients

I wanted to share my experience with Caliber Collision that was fantastic over-all but wanted to point out one specific team member of a great company and that is Mr. Vern Gilpin, he took the time to stay in contact with me step by step, work with my insurance adjuster to point our better scenarios for my truck, keep me calm when i was panicking and upset over the damages, friendly smile, very thorough and professional is his line of work! Mr. Walter Curo is the best specialist in all services of fixing and repair of cars. I do highly recommend him.

We went in and was told they would email us an estimate. Gave it about a week and tried calling several times, only to be told Jamie was busy. A month later and we have not recieved any call backs or emails.

Stan did a great job making sure my car was fixed correctly. Although it took longer than expected, he made sure the quality was right on. The frequent updates were good too.
