Greg was very professional from the beginning to the end. The pricing was reasonable and what I like the most is there was a 2 yr/24,000 mile warranty provided. I had a brief encounter with the rest of the staff and everyone was really nice. I had a lot of work done on my vehicle and the work was done promptly. I will definitely refer S & S to friends and family members.

S&S was able to diagnose and repair an electrical issue for my vehicle that the dealership couldn’t figure out. They also diagnosed another issue and didn’t even try to sell me on the repairs. They recommended I take it to the dealership since the repair was covered under manufacturer warranty. S&S is honest and thorough which I believe are the two most important parts of a small business and independent service facility.

I brought my 2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4 in after installing some BC Coilovers. It needed a full alignment, rotation, and height adjustment. They got it all done in good time and were very friendly through the process. I even received a call before they started working on it to make sure its all adjusted to my liking. I was very pleased to learn they knew how to adjust even my aftermarket suspension. Looking good!

I am in Kansas City to see may daughter. My truck broke down with a fuel pump issue. Had it towed to S&S. I am very happy I called here. I was treated honestly and professionally. They explained the issue and showed me the part needed. I had to get on the road back to Minnesota and they worked into their lunch to diagnose it. They got the part and had me on the road in a couple hours. I highly recomend S&S and they would be my go to if I lived in Kansas City

They were very nice and basic services like an oil change or diagnostics are reasonable. But when they quoted me $800 to change spark plugs, plug wires and a fuel filter, on a basic VW Jetta, I had to call them on it. A quick search showed that they were marking up parts about 400% over retail ($119 for a fuel filter vs. an average retail price of $25. $170 for plug wire that cost $45 at Auto zone, etc.), No thanks

Have used S&S for many years, especially for my older cars. Have always trusted their inspections and suggestions. The staff is over-the-top professional, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Prompt and thorough repairs and replacements (when needed). Exceptionally clean service area and waiting area. And how about those bonus bucks !!

My husband and I have had multiple fantastic experiences here with oil changes and other fixes to our cars. They do not try selling you extra things like other places. I genuinely trust when they tell me something is wrong and needs fixed. They also take photos for you to take home when there is something abnormal or something to watch. They take the time to explain any problems to the car and answers all questions with patience! Love this place. Will continue to use them as long as we can!

Great service, would highly recommend. Fair pricing. Car felt 5 years newer after I drove off after having master cylinder replaced and tie rod replaced. They, like all other automotive places I have been to, identify a list of things above and beyond what you brought your car in for. They went through the list, identified what were safety issues and what were not, what would fail me on my car inspection (they also identified when that was up for renewal) and what wouldnt. They emailed me the list with prices and were fine when I asked for a day to think over it. They did have some double charge items on the list, like break inspection charge but I just opted in to the safety and maintenance items I wanted addressed and had the car back the next day after giving the go-ahead on the work. Professional, courteous, thorough, and fair. I was told I would get an email with pictures at the time the maintenance list and pricing was sent to me, but I never received that.

Been a customer there for years. Wonderful and friendly staff, and always do a thorough and professional job. They always tell me things that I may not have noticed when I bring my truck in for servicing, and always explain what they will be doing and an estimate of costs involved. Very professional, and highly reccomended.

Wonderful business and great people!As a middle aged single woman, Im a prime target for dishonest people! I completely trust S&S to tell me the truth. They check out everything and let me know what needs to be fixed and also what will need to be fixed down the road (my cars 11 years old so theres always something.), but theres never any pressure.The office people are friendly and helpful. They filled out all the paperwork for my rebate. All I had to do was stamp it and put it the mail! Awesome customer service. Ill never bring my vehicle anywhere else.

The team didnt even do a routine tire rotation, which was scheduled, based on the ACTUAL evidence of evenly wearing tires!My July 21, 2015 visit just verified my statements above.

I have not even been in the building but the way the lady answered the phone and talked to me completely made me change my mind. She was very condescending and even smirked at me while she was on the phone making me feel like I was wasting her time. As a consumer, I have the right to ask questions and if that bothers this company then maybe you dont need to be in business. Especially when the work I planned on having done is more than a simply $50-$100 so I think I have the right to ask questions so I know what I am spending my money on.......................to add to your response .. sounds to me once again you guys are putting this back on me -- it doesnt matter how long anyone has been there and I understand it could be more than just a tuneup that is why I was TRYING to ask questions. It still does not give your manager or employee the right to talk to people the way she did me. I dont care how knowledgeable a person is. Everyone deserves respect and that she did not give. Maybe if she had been kind and compassionate in explaining instead of condescending and pretty much laughing at me, you would have earned my business getting more done than just a tune up . My wife and I have gone to S&S for 20 years, and her parents before us and still do go. I might go get my oil changed some where else just because its faster.... but if its mechanical our cars go to S&S,They are HONEST and FAIR I called around when my water pump needed replacing just for due diligence (not that I would have taken it there I was just curious) and they were WELL below the cost the dealership would have charged for the same work.I have had them tell me something did not need to be fixed or replaced yet...think a dealership would say that? And when they say it needs to be fixed I believe them. The only way S&S could be better would be if they were open on Saturdays for Oil changes LOL.

This trip was a simple re-inspection of my truck which failed the MO Inspection. Initial Inspections are normally scheduled. I was able to drop in and was out in only a very short time. They worked me right in between other scheduled jobs.

I needed a vehicle inspection. The tech who performed the inspection was very thorough. He even made a few recommendations that had nothing to do with the inspection. I feel they are honset and actually know what the are doing. I didnt give 5 stars b/c the inspection took 1hr 40mins.
