Fantastic customer service! We are from out of state & needed a quick mechanic to check under the car 30 minutes before closing on a Friday. Wed accidentally driven into a culvert & over a rock. Car was making awful noises during some turns so assumed big issues. They found the source to be a bent cross piece hitting the drive shift. Bent it back into place & it fixed the problem. Luckily no major damage. They wouldnt accept any payment. Very kind, honest, & friendly people at Howard Automotive. Highly recommend!

I had an alternator issue that I was struggling to find a reliable mechanic for. Howard Auto was incredibly responsive and emailed me back the same day I submitted my inquiry. I used Howard Automotive for the second time and was again, extremely pleased with the service. On this last trip I was concerned that my AC was blowing warm air. I had been using another service and for the past three years was told the problem was on older car (2006) and it just was going to take a while for the AC to blow cool air and added whatever was needed to the unit and there was a small leak that made it necessary to add coolant/freon every season. Howard found the problem immediately, a few parts and the AC worked perfectly! No more yearly charges elsewhere. Howard also automatically checks for other issues and lets me know ahead of time what needs attention and what can wait for another time. Love this service and have told all my friends about their excellent customer service!

These guys were awesome. I am always weary being a female going into an automotive situation because I know nothing about cars, but they definitely put me at ease! I had to do a safety inspection because I have a salvage. They were quick, actually found an issue and were able to be inventive to fix it and only charged labor instead of having to spend the hundreds of dollars to replace it. Five stars for sure! Will definitely go back!

After going to a few repair shops, for my daughter, I remaindered my former neighbor had used Howard Automotive. Howard’s was several hundred dollars under the three bids had have already had. They showed me items not needing replacement and why. The other repair businesses had quoted including these items. When the paint job did not come out like they wanted, they called and asked if the delivery date could be moved back, while they repainted the bumper. Both my daughter and I were pleased with the repainted bumper.When my daughter did damage to my wife’s car, I just took it directly to Howard’s because I had confidence with their work and costs.I will use Howard’s for future work I need done.Milt

I owned an older truck and it developed problems, that a number of automotive repair shops could not solve. My truck would quit running for no apparent reason. Cody and Howard Automotive, found that my truck had sensor problems and they where able to fix it. The truck ran perfect after their repairs. I plan to take my sisters car to them for repairs. It is a Impala 2010 and I will let you know how the car performs after their repairs. Great business with great mechanics. I tell anyone I know who have car issues to give them a shout.

I didn’t know this place was 3 minutes from where I live and when I went to go give a review I am so happy they live up to the 5 star rating an on here!All I needed was a state inspection but during my wait a few customers had come and gone. The manager Cody was absolutely amazing! He talked to the customers like they were a human being and asked questions without sounding like one of those mechanics that try to rack it up. He talked to us while we waited between customers. Cody genuinely seemed to like what he does and the service was quick and easy. Bonus points for the fluffy brown couches in the office! Well it could improve the hospitality on the salads end. I didnt really feel like I was welcomed . kinda stand offiedge. Like I was broke and they really didnt want to help me out kinda. And whats funny it took for ever for a sales man to contact me even though IV enough money to buy every car on there lot with cash. And thats no joke. On top of all that the car I was looking at the sailer keep trying to get me to look at a more expensive car then the one I dealt comfortable in and not due to price as much as it was crash star protection and fuel economy. No. I thing without them giving me a new car like I won a prize, I would recommend everyone go to Bob Allen Ford on Metcalf. If you want courtesy, friendly, service that actually feels like home and the sales rep. actually listens to your wants and needs and will provide you the car, evenif they have to custom order it, they will. I had already gotten one estimate over the phone & one at a shop. At this time I couldnt come up with money for their cost estimates.A friend suggested I call Howards to see what their cost would be for upper & lower ball joints.Howards gave me an estimate over the phone & I set up an appointment for Friday 13, 2019.I had no other transportation so I had to stay at the shop. No shop wants you hanging around & Howards is no different, but they let me stay.The other estimate said it would take 6 plus hours to do the job. Howards got my van right in @ 8 AM removed & replaced the ball joints, Then took my van to another shop to align it & had me back on the road by One PM. Howards saved me almost $300.00 over the other two estimates! I will for sure use them again ! Cody and his crew have always been very reliable, dependable, and responsive to my whole familys Auto requirements.

Howard Automotive was able to get my car looked at promptly and they did their due diligence in finding that the problem I was reporting was covered under a special coverage. Without doing any work, they called me to tell me so that I could set up an appointment with the dealer and get the problem taken care of under the special coverage. Great integrity to diagnose the problem without charging me anything.Then when the dealer found my brakes needed replaced, Howard beat their price and were able to get the work done the next day.

Cody really took care of me. These guys are level headed and work quickly as well. They even picked me up from home once my car was ready. This is a small shop that puts the customer first.My repair was also a pretty nasty misalignment and bent wheel but it seems like they have my cars suspension/balance..whatever working the way it did when I first bought it.Im really pleased and will definitely be calling them future in case anything happens. They also gave me a quote for some bumper damage and a cracked light I already had that was a little lower than other shops that quoted me. You should check them out.. I get far more of a notion that these guys are operating with integrity than I do from other small local shops.
