We moved to North KC a year ago and went to Mr.Hill’s for the first time because he was close to our home and it was emergency, but he did such a great job, we have taken both of our cars to him since then. He has always been honest, friendly and has done nothing but great work and used high quality parts. It is difficult to find a good and honest mechanic like him. We wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

Being a woman I can say its hard to find a mechanic who is honest and we can trust, but Mr. HILL seems to be that person. He has worked on my car several times now and I dont have any complaints.

Dropped off my car this morning when they opened. My cars been leaking oil. Just got called that they identified the problem and ordered parts. Ill have the car back this afternoon before they close. Fast, friendly, reliable, and cost efficient. I wouldnt use any other mechanic. Theyve serviced both my vehicles. Never had a problem with them. Will continue to use Hills Auto for years to come.

Great family owned company my mom and step dad told me about this company and have been using them since then even gave me time to see if car was better and make sure engine light stayed off gave me a week to pay them for it nice people there will be back again when needed

Have been to this shop several times.Made appointment over a week ago. Told shop new handle was needed on car door- this would be second door handle, as they did the first one. Was told to come in a week later in the morning (7/7/20). Dropped car off for 3 hours- was then told they still didnt have the car ready. Was asked to come back 4 days later (7/10/20). Left car again, this time for 6 hours. Car still not fixed . When asked why it was taking so long, we were told because the car was considered a slide in. Shop wanted us to continue to leave car- stated it would have been ready by closing time (5p). Unsure how a scheduled appointment, moved twice by auto shop, was a slide in. Very disappointed!!! Expected better. I live south of river, so this shop is NOT CLOSE TO ME- but i gave them my business because i thought they were honest. Owner informed me that we should have told him that we needed a time frame- if not, that means they will deal with your car sometime between 8-5. So, basically it was my fault for not knowing that I have to tell them exactly what time I needed my car, even though I made an appointment. Be aware, this shop wants you to communicate with them- but not the other way around.

Great place to go. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. The price was good and they stayed late to get my car done on a very hot day. Thank you!!!!!

Kevin Hills does excellent work and is very customer oriented in his approach to how he treats his customers. I have been using him for more than 5 years and he has always been professional and courteous.

Very friendly and will work with trying to figure out on going issues with your vehicle. When it wont act up when you take in to them.

Have older van and took to genuine dealer and paid book price to have repairs done several times for same problem. Found out about Kevin and took to him for same issue. Diagnosed and repaired cheaper than dealer. Been using since.

Kevin is a great guy and mechanic. Very respectful, knowledgeable, fair prices. I will definitely be going back in the future for my car needs. As well as I will be sending my friends his way if they need car work done.

Our 2012 Honda Odyssey had the timing belt tensioner go out a year after being replaced. I needed it fixed at a fair price and Hills Auto was the one of only two places that would do the work without doing the entire timing belt, pulleys, and water pump. The price was reasonable and everything has worked great for the week we have had it back. I was also very happy with the part being an oem (same as Honda uses) part rather than a possibly more inexpensive brand. I will be going back as I am very happy with the service!Update 2012: Hills is still our main place for getting work on our vehicles. Over the past couple of years we have taken in a 1997 Dodge Neon, the 2012 Odyssey, and will soon add a 2017 Chevy Silverado. Kevin, then owner, is really honest and great at getting fair prices on parts and for the work. I highly recommend Hills!
