I cannot say enough good things about Tim and his shop. I’ve never had a mechanic take such good care of me when i’ve had issues with a vehicle. He was super helpful in explaining what was wrong, communicating with me, and helping with my insurance. He’s knowledgeable and friendly and I won’t be taking my car anywhere else.

They are honest people who will fix your car without price gouging.Sometimes you might have a wait to get an appointment, but it is worth the wait to have a trustworthy mechanic.They do not do vehicle inspections or sell tires. They fix mechanical issues and they do it well.

I have been in here multiple times with questions about my vehicle. Tim takes the time to explain whats going on and has even run the diagnostic codes on my vehicle multiple times now free of charge (I havent found another mechanic who will do this for free in KC). Hes been incredibly honest with how to fix my vehicle, even when its not to his benefit (sending me to the dealer). Im consistently impressed with the customer service here - great place!!

I dont generally write reviews for businesses but the guys at London Motorworks were incredibly nice and helpful. They took time out of their busy day to check out a rattling sound, quickly fixed the issue and put my mind at ease. Ive often experienced poor interactions at other auto shops where Ive been made to feel stupid or taken advantage of because I dont know a lot about cars and that was certainly not the case here. Tim is hands down the best mechanic Ive ever had. He has always serviced my car in a timely and detailed manner. And he is HONEST. What do I mean by honest? He gave me three options (the cheaper, the middle, and the high-end) on replacing my timing belt. Another time I thought I needed to get new break pads. He told me to come back in a few months since the current ones still had life left in them. Get your moneys worth he told me. When Ive gone to him with car troubles, I always have. Hes honest and professional. Cant ask for much more. Thanks Tim!

He gave me three options for repair, the bare minimum (and cheapest), the middle, and the full repair (most expensive), and didnt pressure me towards any of them. Even when I had to go to a different mechanic because I was stranded out of town, Tim was more than willing to look up my cars info from when he last repaired it and gave me solid advice on what I should expect. This place is top notch.

I am not car savvy and I thought my alternator wasnt working because I had a new battery and I still had to continuously jump my car. Turns out I didnt tighten everything well enough so the battery was coming loose and it eventually came loose enough for the car to not start at all. I had it towed to London Motorworks where Tim (the owner I believe) fixed the problem free of charge. Dont go in expecting free service just because Im car illiterate, but my point is, these are the guys you want to take your car to. If I have a real issue in the future, I will be going right back.

Tim literally brought my car back to life when I blew the engine! My car was towed there from the dealership after the grim diagnosis. I found an engine online and had it shipped to London Motor Works. Tim did the engine swap in the necessary 3 day limit to validate the warranty, and the total cost was half of what it would have been at the Volvo dealership. Amazing! Won’t take my car anywhere else now!

I have a 2004 BMW 330 and want it fixed well, but not at the same level of expense of Baron BMW. Tim provides great options, doesnt pressure you to do things that arent needed, and did quality work at a fair price. the car was repaired (suspension & brake stuff) 6 months ago and is still holding-up - no issues. I would definitely recommend Tim.

I was the Uber driver for Tim one night. He gets into my car and notices something wrong and when I get him to his location he gets out and underneath my car diagnosed it. Tells me to bring it in on Monday and gives me a $5 tip! Fixed my car on Monday and a very reasonable price and in a timely manner. Tim is the best!!!!!

I wish I lived closer to this shop. I took a vehicle I was going to buy in for a pre-purchase inspection since he was near by. It turned out Tim the owner of the shop knew the dealer owner I was going to buy the car from and, had a good relationship with him. I instantly thought this wasnt the best senerio for the obvious reason. I was really uncomfortable since they knew each other and do business together.Im glad I decided go through with it. Tim called me and gave me his honest opinion of the car and ended up saving me about $7,000.00. He told me to keep looking and what I should know before I bought it. Hands down the best money I ever spent. This is an honest shop!

Tim really goes above and beyond my expectations every single time Ive been here. I was refereed here by a friend and ever since Ive been a very happy customer. Tim is super honest, always texts me lettig me know what the issue is, and gives me plenty of options.Never pushy at all! If youre looking for a super honest mechanic that knows what hes doing, this is the place. The only downside (if there is one) is that hes so busy that finding an appointment can take a week or two if its not an emergency. :)

My fiancee and I moved to town in Summer of 2013, just a few blocks from London Motorworks. We had no car, and we were looking to buy one. We walked by Tims place, and we talked to him for a while (initially intrigued by the waiting area being an art gallery). Hes a really nice, honest guy. We had him check out all the cars we were interested in, and he saved us from buying a real lemon that the seller had lied about (Tim discovered it had been in a wreck). When we settled on a different car, we had Tim and his crew check it out, and then do the work on it. I wont take my car anywhere else. Give these guys your business. Its rare that you walk out of a mechanics shop smiling. :)

I was told by a trusted friend in the auto industry that Tim London was the best auto mechanic in Kansas City. He said I could believe anything he told me as accurate regardless and that his fees were quite reasonable. He said I especially needed Tim because of the particular I have -- Mercedes SLK55 AMG. Boy was my friend right about all of the above! Tims also right on it with text communications and responses. A truly special human being too. Ill never go anywhere else. I have friends who have really been taken at Aristocrat and Mercedes Benz of Kansas City. I had a terrible experience myself with a Range Rover at Aristocrat. Tims just unbelievable on all fronts.

We had never been to london motorworks before. My wifes check engine light came on a month back. She was nearby, so she stopped in. Tim stopped what he was doing and immediately hooked up his code reader to her car and let her know what it said, then checked her battery and alternator. We went back later and had him change the alternator. He worked us in immediately, and had it back to us the next morning. I cant recommend london motorworks enough!
