I have to say I avoid this store because I always felt that since isnt the greatest neighborhood that Jewel just didnt care about its customers. I was completely shocked! Great produce; the store looks brighter, cleaner and it make me happy that the seniors and others near that store get some of the same meat and veggies that other stores get!

I only stopped here in my way home. I usually always go to the store in Bourbonnais IL. Its been a long time since Ive been back in this store. Theyd remodeled/relocated some things. It seemed more open and not everything crammed into place. I also seen some products I dont typically see at other stores. It was clean, the cashier was nice, not was bad experience at all.👍

The 5 stars are for the pharmacy. They are a stellar staff!

Since 1986.With that said.....SEVERAL OF YOUR CHECK OUT CLERKS HAVE HORRIBLE ATTITUDES, TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE TRASH AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK HAS TWO NICE EMPLOYEES,THE OTHERS HAVE THIS ATTITUDE LIKE ANY PROBLEMS OR ISSUES THAT YOU HAVE ARE NOT THEIR PROBLEM & YOU ARE OUT OF LINE FOR BRINGING THEM WORK.Some employees are the nicest people you could ask for & some are the opposite, you have to learn which ones are which, HOWEVER....WITH SOME POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT TRAINING THERE IS POTENTIAL FOR AN ENTIRE CREW OF GOOD, HARD WORKING PEOPLE...THEY NEED POSITIVE ENERGY....ARE YOU LISTENING??? Even with the renovational remodel, the store is still over 50 years old and has a very small limited space for merchandise and overall selections.

I always had a good experience at Jewels. Nice people there.

Customer service does not seem to be a focus at all at this location. The cashiers do not offer a simple hello or thank you or have a nice day as they hand you your receipt. Also, it seems to be standard practice to allow other employees to operate on another employees login. This creates issues for customers and employees in the long run. I do not recommend this jewel location.

Has the best produce in the county! The meat department is not far behind. Always can count on good items to buy from here.

I found a great sale on 100% Grass Fed Grass Finished beef! The store is definitely improving. More Organic and Natural choices ...Also they are carrying several new Keto friendly natural sweetness. Alright Jewel!

Went there to stock up on some stuff

Went here to pick up a family chicken meal for me and my kids for dinner. The lady behind the counter gave me a extremely dirty look, didnt say anything, just looked miserable. The food looked like it had been sitting out all day. I asked to speak to a manager and just got laughed at. This was in the chicken.

Needed a prescription filled fast, cvs told me 4 hours, Walgreens said maybe 2 hours, the girls at Osco took care of me in 15 minutes.

No complaints. Actually a positive comment because they have rearranged the lay out. Less crowded.

Staff is very nice and the store is super clean

Today & really for about 2 weeks, Jewels has been my go to store. The last time I was there they did not have my favorite soup, tomato 🍅 Basil. But lo& behold, they redeemed them selves today. 🤔🤔

Out of a lot of the keto options they say they carry. Other than that, good experience.

Very helpful staff, which is good, because you are going to need them to find anything in the store. the inventory is very low. unless you are running in for a simple one or two items, go somewhere else.

I give your employees 5 stars but I would give them 10 if I could! They put their health and the health of their families on the line every time they walk into the store so the rest of us can get food during these hard times. The least that Jewel could do for these awesome people who work for them is raise their wages and provide health insurance for them.

I always Visit here and Even have a friend that works here too. They get five stars from me.Just lower price on Grapes 10 dollar bag WOW. You have to bring price down more. Or you will lose business. Customers will go else where. You do not want that since this store has to remain here. I pray for this store Because its one of the few originals left. God bless you all You get Five stars from me.

Pitiful, dirty...long lines at checkout, not have items I needed. Bathroom dirty, someone left faucet running, almost overflowed sink. I remember Jewel/Osco from many, many years ago were nice stores, but this was the worst I had ever seen.

It was clean and healthy looking. I found what I needed.

Great people make for a great experience. The pharmacy is one of the best around Walgreens needs to take lessons on how to pick your employees!! Just go down the street to Jewel-Osco!! They will show you Im sure!!

Never had a problem using a credit card with ID at any other Jewel for a gift card. This store said they can’t take credit card even with ID. Avoid!

I go to Jewel a lot, at least once a day and the employees at Jewel are always nice and very helpful. The best part is checking out theres a few cashiers that just get you smiling and laughing.

Friendly staff. Bakery and deli are well stocked with pretty much everything you want. My only concern is the outside issues that take place on and around their property.

They dont have a large selection of meat and the bacon i bought was brown and not fresh at all. Every time i pull into the parking lot a homeless bum asks me for money. On the other hand the staff here are always extremely nice and friendly and i can get all of my WIC food here no problem. Convenient location for a quick food run.

My favorite grocery store in the area.They always have great deals on meat (different buy 1 get 1 free deals each week) and the staff are friendly and helpful.Special shout out to David the bagger for always being so friendly, cheerful and helpful. I can always count on David to put a smile on my face even during the worst of days.

Youll find less variety than at other Jewel and area grocers. The employees are helpful and friendly. The neighborhood is worriesom in the evening. Ive been approached several times in the parking lot and inside the store for handouts and deals on government assistance cards.

Found some really good sales on frozen. Vegs and also got a beautiful rib roast yummy
