I ordered an In Stock disconnect on 10/4, received order confirmation 10/5 with a shocking 5-7 days to process the shipping. I called the store to inquire a tracking number 10 days after ordering because I had not heard received the product.Customer service said it wasnt in stock and they had to order the part from square d and it wouldnt arrive to Gordon electric supply until NOVEMBER 1ST, and THEN they would ship it to me!!! He also said it was a regular part and I could cancel or return it free of charge (checkout says may not be returnable)Your website said it was in stock.Took over 4 weeks to get.The product was $180, compared to $109 at home depot; I only ordered for Gordons because the item was IN STOCK!!!!The customer service rep said there would be no restocking fee- Yet they wont let me return the item for a full refund now that I would like to do so.The customer service rep spoke to me as a dullard, and maybe I am because I didnt read the reviews. 30% of the reviews are one star about the same poor customer service, no tracking number, month long waits, overpriced, advertised as In stock on site, blah blah blah- LIESI dont think I have ever had such a compounding negative experience leading to an actual google review; I have pursued consumer arbitration and wont hesitate to do so again.

I would like to just say that randy is the rudest person there and has very poor customer service literally was just trying to get me off the phone by giving me broans company number and saying do u want the number or not! i would highly recomend the owner of this company to get better customer service training for this employee and i will not be doing any business with this company if thats the type of first interaction im going to get. I hope my post is helpful to anyone looking at this company for any business transactions.

Talked to sales person on a Monday for some urgently needed parts. Was assured that order would ship same day and I would receive by Tuesday since I am somewhat local. By Wednesday, I had no parts and was told by customer service that the parts had been pulled but were stuck in warehouse and nobody was answering the phone. I ended up making a 150 mile round trip to pick up the parts because I needed them to get the job done. I put in a 15 hour day thanks to this. Promises made by sales people, no effort to help me recover from their mistake, no care from customer service that I did not have the parts. I do not recommend this business.

The entire online ordering process was smooth and the product was exactly what I wanted. Shades were packed with care and none arrived damaged. The transformation from my dated tulip shades to this style is amazing. Looks great!

Poorest communication Ive seen in a long time. Ordered 2 parts on July 9, its now July 28 and I hadnt heard a thing. Called them today. First person said half my order is on backorder. Ok, why didnt they notify me? Called back to see if they can ship out whats in stock. Second person said they have both parts in stock. When I asked why I was just told that one was not in stock, he said she doesnt know what shes doing, she didnt look in the right place. Both were rude and one hung up on me without saying bye. They have good prices but you pay for it in other ways.

Good Pricing. Verify availability before you order. Zero communications after purchase, product Stock Status not accurate. Placed an order for a couple hundred items (in-stock), 35 days later still not delivery or update, product still showed in-stock online. Called and was told 1-3 months parts are backordered. Cancelled order for lack of communication and disregard for website updates.

Charged my credit card and did not ship merchandise. Did not advise that product actually was not available at time of order made directly with Tony Mays. Customer service is terrible. They have no follow up. Even though they did not have the merchandise, they charged my credit card on 04/26/21 and today is 05/06/21. 10 Days they have my $286.07 and have not responded to my email on 05/03/21 as of this email.They have no concern for the customer. Looks like I will have to do a charge back to get my money back!

They fixed this situation once a supervision got involved. That also readily replaced a manufacturer part when needed. Good job! Ordered a few TV bridge cable kits 3 weeks ago. They charged my cc, but have not shipped the order as of today, 1/14 and the customer service representative person seems put out my inquire on the status. No update on my email and phone call inquiries. I asked to cancel the order and refund. Hopefully, this will not take 3 weeks to process.

Placed an order for a part, received an order confirmation, then nothing. Tried to follow up with the sales person, zero follow up again. This was not a small purchase. Over a week later after following up myself still zero information as to where my order is. If you cant get it or dont have it just be honest. This part was pivotal to our project and this awful customer service cost us precious time we cant get back.

Ordered a transfer switch on February 18, 2021. They said they will ship February 23, 2021. Called it check status on February 24, 2021 as I did not get any tracking information. Told me it was back ordered and will ship March 3, 2021. Not one email or notification about it. I had a job pending on standby. I canceled the ordered and requested a refund as they charged me before it even shipped or was in stock and I also went to Elliot electrical website to order it instead. They shipped it the next day and it’s on the way. False in stock information here. Maybe the in store experience is better, but the online experience is not that great.Oh yeah, stop blaming COVID as an excuse. I see they do that for several responses. Own up to it and remove the product from stock or rewrite your pages to make it show back ordered. None of any other vendors I order from seem to have a problem with orders at all. Not one single hiccup. I should of checked the reviews. Also, I will be doing a merchant chargeback as they probably will take 6 months to refund me.

Do not order from this company!! First they people or rude, your order takes months to get and when you finally do get it it is completely wrong. Then no one is available for you to talk to or be able to return the item. So you stuck with an expensive item that does you no good with no help from them. Stay away!!!!¡!

I have dealt with a lot of electrical supply companies in the past. This is my first time using Gordon because they made it easy to find the exact replacement lighting can I needed for my kitchen. Ordering was super simple, they communicated throughout the process and my parts were delivered 2 days after I ordered. This was a most excellent experience. I will definitely use them again.

I had to replace the doorbell buttons used to open my garage doors. Easy, right? Wrong. Lighted doorbell buttons wont work because of the voltage draw. Only unlighted buttons will work. Try to find unlighted doorbell buttons. I spent at least 30 minutes online trying to find unlighted doorbell buttons. Finally- Gordon Electric Supply! Their website worked well, the order process was quick and easy. Received them in the mail a few days later. Installed them, and voila! Cross another task off the list!

Ordered a globe June 12 - was finally delivered Aug. 3. Apparently it was on back order, but I had to contact them to find that out.Still came another week to ten days later than they said.The globe ended up not fitting the fixture I needed it to, but the shipping costs are not worth sending it back. The prices were good, but the shipping was as much as the product.

Don’t order anything if you need it soon. Ordered $5.00 siding bracket to mount an outdoor light on June 3,2020. Received order confirmation and total was $15.00 with shipping with a ship date of June 21, 2020. Did not receive until July 10th. No communication with reason for delay.Can not recommend this company due to poor customer service.

With the proliferation of light bulb types....LED, Halogen, bases, hues, etc. it is great to find the exact UPC code. We have a 6 LED bulb kitchen ceiling fixture so when I replace a bulb I need the exact bulb to match the other 5. Trying to find the correct UPC at the store is a waste of time. (save the original bulb package so you can order the correct UPC replacement)

Ordered an electrical bridge for my inside the wall TV mount which was delivered in five days. It appears its missing one piece which is the cable washer thats illustrated on the instructions sheet but wasnt included in the box. No mention if its suppose to be included or not, but I presume that it was suppose to be. I also noticed that some of the pieces had some scratches and dents on it, as if this was a returned item and they just restocked it and didnt look to insure everything was there or if it was in good condition NOT used. A little disappointed, but will install it any case.

I called to verify stock and availability. The products were in stock and the products should be shipped by the following business day according to the rep. So, a couple hours later, I placed the order. They ended up being shipped two business days later. Then, I didn’t receive the products a total of 5 business days after the order was placed. Upon examining the shipment, I noticed that the shipping ticket showed 3 items on back order. This order was holding up other contractors on the job site as I needed to install these products before they finish.It would have been nice to call or email me prior to the order being shipped to let me know about the backorder, but instead got no notification about it until I received the shipment. LOUSY customer service.To please my customer and the other contractors, I immediately cancelled the back ordered items and order them through a competitor and had to pay for overnight shipping to get it on the next business day to finish the job.

Order went well - absolutely no problems which is actually a pretty high standard these days. The website said the product was in stock typically ships within a day or two and it did. I took a risk by opting for the cheaper shipping option of UPS ground bc the next step up was 4x the cost - all to save one day in freight.I contacted Gordon for tracking, which they provided. Ive only placed the one order, so my evaluation sample size is small.

I reached out for a quote on 12/2/19, material was quoted with a 4-6 week lead time & I ordered same day. I reached out for an update on 1/10/20, 3 days before the 6 week due date. I was contacted by email and said an expedite request was put in. I sent 4 more emails in 3 weeks, no response again. Material is now 3 weeks late and the rep wont return my calls or emails. I called in to get with someone else who was more helpful but the problems persisted.When I did make contact with someone else, it took another week to find out that the facility that MFRs the product had CLOSED. The material was due a month ago at this point per the quote Gordon provided. A few updates and new ETAs later, I have a tracking number and am STILL waiting for the delivery of this material double the MAXIMUM lead time I was given.The most infuriating part was that there was no attempt to communicate any of this back to me, I had to systematically extract this info out of Gordon Electric step by step, email by email, phone call by phone call and month after month after literal month. I will not be returning and I will not be using the $5 off your next purchase coupon. Not delivering material on time causes planned work to be re-planned and done again for which $5 is not worth the headache.

Prices are low, however unless your order drop ships from the manufacturer do not expect the item quickly. Ordered on January 31st, after one week emailed customer service (which was very quick to respond) only to find out my order wasn’t “scheduled” to ship for another whole week. Had I known there would be a 2-week lead time I would’ve ordered elsewhere. I chose Gordon even with slightly higher prices than competitors because it said the item was listed as immediately available. This is sadly not the case. Yes, Amazon and competing companies have set unrealistic expectations for shipment and delivery. But two weeks for an available item is a little ridiculous, at least a courtesy warning in the confirmation email would’ve been nice!

I ordered a pressure switch for an air compressor and the lead time was advertised at 3-5 days to ship. After two weeks I checked in and was told, there was a delay due to stock allocation and didnt receive another update until I checked in another week later. I have used Gordon Electric before but will probably look for another vendor next time as I cant wait for parts that much longer than advertised.On a positive note, the products that are shipped are always quality and as advertised.

I am extremely disappointed with my order from Gordon Electric Supply. The website listed a fixture in both the title and description. Specifically ELCO PST1B HORIZ LUVR STEP LT Anyone would assume that is a LIGHT, not a faceplate. It doesnt say anywhere in the description that its only a faceplate but thats what we received, 13 days later. Even with COVID UPS doesnt take 13 days to ship. I tried to call their customer service line to discuss it and called 3 times only to have the line hung up as soon as it was answered. I have emailed the company and am waiting on a response and will adjust my review only if an acceptable solution is provided. I waited too long to get this for it to not be what I wanted or expected. Hopefully theyll make things right and correct the website description but I wouldnt recommend them at all at this point. There are so many other companies out there that have accurate descriptions, customer service lines that are answered and dont take two weeks to ship for me to use this company again.

Worst customer service Ive received with a supplier.My sales representative Greg Odeneal, not only did not know what the lead time would be from the vendor, he actually didnt even know where the vendor was located. An order that was supposed to arrive within 5 days extended almost to 2 weeks. Consequently, when I asked Greg if we could ship partial next day air... the order became to complicated and he requested for ME to cancel the order.To say the least, they need better customer care.
