Little convenience store. No menu that I could see. The most AMAZING chicken! Seriously. Kids raved about the spam sushi rolls too. Oh, and we bought her home baked almond cookies which were delicious as well. No where to sit and eat so grab your food and find a beautiful spot on this coastal road to stop and enjoy.

The chicken is amazing! I always make it a point to stop by if I am I the area. I had the sushi roll as well and it was delicious. Perfect snacks before hitting the beach or the park :) The owner shared with me that this store has been in her family for 3 generations!! 😀

This is one of the oldest local owned stores still around with deep heritage and respect towards Local Ohanas and new wave of people. Mahalo

Teriyaki fried chicken was delicious. Great snack. Or if youre driving around the island pick some up for lunch and eat at the next beach area.

This place was an awesome stop on our drive around Hawaiis coast. We talked to Nadine the owner and got a glimpse of the rich history the store has...the stores been around for about 120 years!! The fried chicken was so good that we went back right after downing the 1st one we bought while eating an ice cold pineapple whip. We got to meet Nadines son as well the second time around, they are overall great people. Its a nice break from the tourist-y stuff and you really get a glimpse of that local old Hawaiian charm. Super friendly and welcoming. We got the BBQ chicken and sushi twice. Super delicious. The store owner is a local who made a CD and sells it in the store. I went ahead and bought it. I love it because it’s the kind of music I want to hear as I’m driving along the coast. Loved his voice especially song number 4: Secret of Life. And “Going to Carolina” sung with a nice little Hawaiian flavor. Aloha Alden!

The chicken is to die for. By far the best on the island. The owners are so friendly. I cannot pass by without stopping in for my dose of chicken.

Always loved this store since I was a child. Thetly are well known for their chicken & maki sushi. Really Ono (delicious).

I stopped in here last week during a drive up the island to the northern shore. Service was friendly and their snacks are tasty.

This is on my list of places that I love to come!! It wouldnt really be a trip around the island for me if I didnt look to see if they were open and stop by if they were. As years go by it gets harder & harder to find maki sushi the way that my Popo (Chinese grandmother) would make so this is the first thing I look for as soon I enter the store. Then I remember to grab some homemade cookies for my wife who is usually in the car waiting for me. Heres to nostalgia as I write this review while noshing on maki sushi and drinking a Coke out of a glass bottle.
