Wow!! What a great experience! I called in and was lucky enough to get Travis Rivera. Both my husband and I are in the car business stateside…but our daughter moved to Hawaii and needed a car quickly. I did some quick research and found the perfect vehicle for her at Windward Honda. Travis did a great job from start to finish! He made us feel comfortable (over the phone) and our daughter had so much fun taking delivery. No surprises happened…this is how GREAT dealers operate!! Kudos to Travis and the whole Windward Honda team!! They have earned our loyalty!

Had an issue with my ac and they did an amazing job fixing it. I got lucky and apparently the issue with my ac was covered under warranty so I didn’t have to pay anything. The advisors there are all nice as well!

I’m so frustrated with Honda Windward. I have come here twice before and have had no complaints with routine service (reason why I gave 2 instead of 1 star). Now I have an actual problem with my 2019 HRV with less than 10k miles on it and I’m not impressed with their customer service. One day my AC just stopped working. It was blowing hot air like I was in a hair dryer. Real fun in Hawaii. So I take it in and “something they don’t really see” happened—my compressor blew. My car is still under warranty so the fact that this happened is already beyond annoying. But this happening isn’t the dealerships fault, I get it. Brought my car in early on 9/28, wasn’t called and updated til 4pm that it needed parts and I’d have to wait. They also let me know there was a recall on a part with the fuel tank. May have been nice to know. So they order the parts needed on that day, tell me 3-4 business days. Okay I can deal with that. It’s now 10/12 and I had not received a call. I assumed with supply chain and mail issues, a delay wasn’t all that surprising. I called today and the parts department let me know that my parts had actually come in on 10/4 and my service coordinator should have called me to schedule an appointment. Um, what?! I’ve been waiting for a call, driving around in a literal sweat box and my parts have been here the whole time?! The next opening to get me in is next Tuesday. This whole ordeal (esp with my car being newer and very little miles) is turning me off of Honda completely.

When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted by Melissa who connected me with Bob Laudick. From the time I met Bob until the time I drove off with my new Accord, the experience has been amazing. Honda Windward’s slogan is “We’ll make a believer out of you”. I believe the is is true. Bob made me a believer. He made the buying experience quick, respecting my time and enjoyable. Everyone was very courteous and friendly. I needed my van fixed and did not have time to do it myself. Sophia and Justin were very helpful. Justin explained everything very well and even stayed late so I could get my van back in one day. I used to work at a car dealership for about 9 years, so I’ve seen some good and some bad service departments. I think this is definitely one of the great ones!

I was extremely pleased with the service rendered. My only disappointment was that it was my first experience where a Honda dealership didn’t just do a point inspection where fluids, brakes, etc., are looked at and fluids filled. I was hoping that my brakes would be looked at as I know they’re almost due to be replaced. I never had to ask before, but I guess you have to specifically ask for it here. Other than that, it was a great experience! Great people!

I have recently purchased my 6th or 7th Honda from Honda Windward. I love my gorgeous Blue HRV. Even better my service person is Kanoa Chang. Hes absolutely the best. Hes kind, goes out of his way to make the perfectly timed appointment for my needs, and goes way above excellent. I did have a problem with my in car phone. People could not hear me talk but I could hear them. It was frustrating for me as a Realtor. There are no computer chips for cars any where. Kanoa tracked down a new computer for my car and installed it for me. Im beyond thankful. Honda Windward really will make a believer out of you.

I needed a repair job done on my Honda Ridgeline ASAP. I live on the leeward side but repair shops on that side were booked out for a whole week. I decided to give Honda windward a call. I bought a 2021 Honda Civic EX from Honda Windward and I am very satisfied with the process of purchasing my first car. The car surprisingly accommodates tall individuals such as myself (6’ 2”) with an extra inch or two of space from the top of my head to the ceiling of the car. I would still be able to move the driver’s seat further back or downward if I wanted to for extra comfort. I feel an absolute positive difference in handling compared to past Honda Civic models I rode in. I would very likely recommend this car as a great first car to own.

Shady practices. I went there to potentially buy a car and there was a 5,000 price increase from the website listing. Their excuse was that they list cars based on mainland prices (whatever sense that makes). The same car is 5-7k cheaper elsewhere so I shopped somewhere else. Overall a very pleasant experience given the current situation. I checked in at the front desk and Austin was very prompt and efficient with getting us through the paperwork. Mr. Laudick was my salesman, he was personable and funny. I never felt pressured. Easy transaction without too much haggling. I have to admit I was a little tentative coming back here because I had a salesman last time who was the complete opposite of Mr. Laudick. I vowed never to return but things change over time and they had something I was interested in. I had a great time and it was a good experience from beginning to end. I just wished they gave me a updated safety inspection ( have to go back to get a current safety check sticker), full tank of gas ( had half tank) and a better vacuum job on my used car. Easy to schedule appointment. It was my first time coming to Honda Windwards service department and didnt know where to park car to drop off. No signage.Office only allowed 2 people in at a time so I had to wait in a line outside but was seen rather quickly.They asked if I wanted to wait because it should only take 45 minutes for a safety check. My husband was there to pick me up so I left and waited for their call. So glad that I left because they called to tell me that a gasket needed to be replaced. They promised to gave it ready my 12noon after I agreed to the added service but I was called me closer to 2pm.All in all, I was very happy with my experience and would definitely go there again.

Initial set up and drop off were easy, staff members were helpful and patient as I had my two small children with me and had to transfer car seats to our rental.Estimated work was 8-9 days. They kept my car 13 days. I called multiple times for updates on when my car would be complete as I had to extend my rental. Every time I called receptionist would tell me someone would cal me and no one did.Overall my car looks great. The outside was nicely cleaned. The dent in my door was gone and paint job looks great. I was surprised that they didn’t have my drivers seat covered with plastic, no floor mate cover for COVID/cleanliness precautions. (When I got my rental car there was a individual Clorox wipe available)I wouldn’t get any work done here again in the future due to the poor communication and lack of customer service from staff.

I had 2 vehicles go down the same time. One was a Nissan and the other a honda. Both ran a diagnostic test. However, Honda chose to fix all problems. While Nissan (town) only chose to fix the more expensive one. $1500🤬 later and Im still having problems with the Nissan. Honda actually took the time to explain what was wrong and needed to be address. If you have problems with your vehicle, take it to them. Im so thankful to them and their shuttle services. 😁

Went in for a basic oil change. Got an early appointment and they started work on it right away. I forgot to bring my printed online coupon for a discount but the attendant honored a visual copy from my smart phone instead. They also found out that the battery was going bad, so they replaced it with a new one, cost covered by my service plan. All done within 40 minutes. Awesome. Also, free drive through car wash was fast and easy. All done before 9:00am!

Has vehicle serviced due to a “recall, fuel pump” issue.When my vehicle was pick up, there was some type of solvent on the gearshift panel and the left side panel of the dash board console was separated.Brought it to the attention of the Service Mgr., who used a detail polish to remove the solvent substance and said that the FIT was made in Mexico for $15,000. and seen this panel (dash console left side panel) separate all the time, and he will order another one for me.NOTE:1. The is the scoundrel Honda FIT we’ve had and the fourth Honda.2. Nothing was wrong with the dash board left panel when the vehicle was dropped off, two hours earlier that day.3. The excuse of the vehicle being cheaply made in Mexico tells me the quality of the Honda FIT.4. Last Honda I will be purchasing.
