Giving S&S campers a rating of 1 star is a real reach. They deserve no stars.Brought my horse trailer in to have the break away system checked. When I picked it up I asked to speak to mechanic who worked on my trailer. I asked him if he looked under my trailer to fix any broken brake wires. He told me he did and everything was fine. They did not have a new battery so I would need to pick one up.When my husband came home, he checked under trailer and broken wires from the break away system were hangng down, not attached (see photo). How could the system work when it wasnt attached to all brakes?Called and brought trailer back in. Another mechanic from S&S looked at trailer and confirmed wires were broken on both back tires. Manager told owner who said to me, The mechanic did what was written on sales receipt. You did NOT ASK to have the brakes checked. What would you want us to do, look at the brake ball bearings also? I said the brakes are apart of the break away system and should have been checked. What is the purpose of a break away system if it is not attached to the brakes? Owner then proceeded to ask me to step outside where he told me he didnt like my attitude and to leave. He didnt need my business.Facts about S&S: terrible customer service, unsafe workmanship that could have caused my horses to be in danger, and the fact that I was directly lied to by his mechanic. Stay clear of S&S!

On the road with our camper, toilet leaking and hitch too low. Stopped in here and the young man at the front chimed in and told me exactly what I needed to do and what I needed. This is the only way a business should be run, truthfully and confidently. There was no this or that or maybe, it was just go get your part number off back of toilet like this one, my wife went and got it and we were gone in a few minutes. Awesome service, awesome place!

They pulled my canopy off truck, went straight home to get ready for a trip and cleaning up truck discovered dent on top of tailgate. Wasnt there before pulling canopy off. They claimed everything they do is recorded in their shop,asked to see it and then they cant find it. Have had this truck since new, until then no dents. I dont say this lightly,.

Was told to bring camper in on Saturday, they would be open. Drove 2 hours to find a locked up facility with no human life in sight. Not a very good start.

I bought a travel trailer down in Missoula and was looking for a a place here in Kalispell to do an awning cover over my slide out. I didn’t want to take it down to Missoula to have the dealer do it. So I did some research and found S& S Campers. I talked with Justin and we decided on what type and he scheduled me a date. The date wasn’t that far out, like ten days. Other dealers around town were much further out. I had installed a Solera. It also helps blocks the sun rays off the slide out. Phillip installed the awning. He did a really great job!! He did it in less time that was quoted. He took the time to show me what it looked like when it was extended. I was really happy with the work and how everything worked out at S&S campers. They are family run business and l am all about that. And I will definitely come back to have these guys do work on my travel trailer.

Purchased a very clean camper and so am very happy with it. Service was great!

I called and got Justin, he must be a salesman, and discussed doing a reseal on my motorhome. He said to email him pictures of the roof so that he could let me know an approximate amount it would cost me. I emailed on 5-19 and have yet to get a response. With such an unreliable response, its time to go elsewhere.

The first time I had my canopy refitted, the middle brackets were loose. Good thing I checked before I left.Honest mistake, no problem.When they installed rubber lining around the tailgate, it rolled at the bottom, bringing in water. I took it back.Again, no problem.when I asked to go in the garage (it was raining outside) to show exactly what issues were going on with the the seal, to the installer, the manager agreed.While the installer was getting my truck, I asked about installing a foot and hand rail. He said they only had plastic. He did show me a thin metal hand rail. I said I would prefer to buy my parts on the internet and pay them to install. He pointed me to a sign that said, Would you take a steak to a restaurant and ask them to prepare it for you? Please dont ask us to install your parts.Fair enough. Again, no problem.He commented on the sign so I said it was my truck and so I felt justified to order the parts. I would take it to my mechanic.Again, no problem.I will never come back because after I decided to have someone else install the foot and hand rails, he changed his mind and decided not to let me go in the garage, saying he told the installer what I said when I went by last week.Ok, he changed his mind and I cant go in the garage now. So I asked if they planned to use a single seal or a double and he refused to answer and just repeated he explained it to the installer already!I spent over $500 in two months there. Today, they lost a good customer.

I received phenomenal customer service when I went in last week. I wanted to talk to S&S about some truck options and accessories. Staff was knowledgeable and very resourceful. I happened to mention how my trunk door on my car wasnt opening all the way anymore, they walked out with me to my car and noticed I needed new struts...and they freaking had them in stock!!!!!! Wouldnt mind going back even just to chat it up with the help!!!!!

My name is Gwen Newman and we recently went to s and s campers and canopies to replace an awning severely damaged while on our vacation. Started with Dan Lewis who gave us a quote and sent it to our insurance company. Once hearing from our insurance Dan made sure the awning was in the shop and set aside time for our installation. Another gentleman installed the new awning and was courteous and professional. Oh and the best part we were on a tight schedule to leave the area and everything went right on time and on schedule. I came in last week to get my truck in so they could do some repairs to my Leer topper. Less than a week my topper had new struts, latch, and my 3rd brake light wired. As they work on wiring the light they noticed I wasnt working. I asked if they could replace it. They had the light in stock. I thought there parts were responsibly priced and it only took an 1 1/2. I should have gone to S&S Campers first! Multiple welds on the wall of my 2018 Dutchman Kodiak trailer failed and my trailer was effectively broken and useless. After going to 2 RV repair shops in Bozeman and 1 in Butte, we were facing estimates of $8k+, self repair, or as one dealer stated, totaling the trailer (I later found out I could have towed the trailer to the mfg. for some warranty repair, but Im glad I didnt).I towed the trailer to Kalispell with the plan to perform self repair during the pandemic. Someone reminded me that S&S Campers actually manufactured campers and might be able to solve the problem for me.I remember this was a great place in the 70s and 80s and the business has remained in the family since then. Everyone was friendly, listened to the problems, laughed with me at the predicament and asked for a week or so to come up with a plan.Fast forwarding a couple weeks, I got my trailer back and it is now fully functional. My cost was ONLY $1,300 as they charged me an hourly labor rate (60% of the rate for the RV dealer 1 mile south of their shop), and $50 in parts. They were honest, fair, and super knowledgeable to come up with the solution to my trailer issues.Ive taken my camper on 5 trips since then and it is still working great.Based on my experience with other RV dealers and repair shops, S&S Campers is the only place I will bring my trailer for maintenance and repair in the future. Even if my camper is in Bozeman, Salt Lake City, or somewhere else Ill bring it back to Kalispell for any important work.Many thanks to the team at S&S Campers. Great customer service by a local, family owned, business thats been in valley for years. Curtis and Justin were awesome. If they dont have it Justin can get it. The job Curtis quoted me lasted longer than he had expected but he didnt put me through the wringer. He kept his word and charged me the quoted price. That is how you do customer satisfaction and thats how you get repeat customers. Happy customers and word of mouth is the best advertising in the world.

Greated by the sweetest dog that led us to the counter. He would later bring out a toy to play with us. The employees here are very informative and helpful. I was ordering a canopy for my 2017 Ford F150. Differences between styles were explained to me. Waiting for its arrival but very pleased so far.

I have had my S & S camper for 25 years and I absolutely love it. The components have worked perfectly all of these years. It is sturdy and I have been able to use it in most weather. Extra heat is needed in sub freezing temps. I highly recommend this camper. I would buy it again without hesitation.

Ordered a part for a work truck, never kept me updated on status. 2 weeks later I call, let me call and get a tracking number, no call back with an update. 2 weeks later they still do not have any idea when they may get the part in.I will not bring my work vehicle or personal vehicle to these guys again

They did a $75 job on the rear door of my topper. Door was broken again within a couple weeks of the fix. Granted it was an old topper, and the staff were very friendly, I just wish they would have been more upfront about the likelihood of the door actually being able to be fixed.
