Way better than the big box stores. Definitely my choice of building stores in the valley. Great service and selection of items. The Lumber is also way better than the box stores.

They have stuff you didnt know you needed! Staff is excellent!

Went to buy about $4k of supplies for a project. Walked in and saw a sign eluding to if you dont want to wear a mask, say you have a medical condition. Perturbed, but not deterred.Walked through the store, and of the 10 or so staff and customers inside, not ONE was wearing a mask.We went and shopped at Lowes.Never will WBC get another cent from me.

They had everything I needed for multiple projects and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The only place in Flathead Valley that had the shingles we needed. They looked it up, gave us the price, had it in stock and promptly loaded it up. Who could ask more of a knowledgeable staff and clean well run lumber store?

I recently put in a new mailbox post, and rented the powered auger to do the job of digging, as the ground in Columbia Falls is not easy to dig. I also bought the mailbox, and post at Western Building Center. This is the only place I like shopping for hardware or lumber. The staff are helpful, and even if they dont have what I need, they can order it with a lot less trouble than Lowes or Home Desperate. Highly recommended!

Helpful staff. This place is very clean and the shelves are organized very well. I always find what I need.

Two negative comments are not dog friendly and prices are on the high side. Other than that they have a good size lumber yard and you can get some big machines also, lathe, drill press, planners, air filters system, ect.

Other than Ace Hardware I would be there before the other Lowes and home depot due to there more local employees I believe its way better at customer service at Lowes and Home depot your just a number

Theres no walking around LOOKING, SEARCHING thinking maybe you are in the store during a meeting with no one to help. This place greets you upon your entrance and guides you to your area, or will take you there and make sure you get the right part at the right price!
